The guard that Rean talked to was quite surprised to see Waritala leaving the mansion, as he didn't know she had co back. Even more surprising, the guy who he had sold the information to was with her, followed by one extra person. Still, since Waritala seed to be flying with them of her own accord, it wasn't his place to say anything. 'How did he manage to do that?'
Unaware of the guard's thoughts, Rean, Roan, and Waritala flew above the city, joining many other cultivators and demon beasts that had their own things to do. Rean took the chance, being the first one to ask questions.
"Lady Waritala, I'm pretty confident in my ability to explore the flaws in formations and sneaking around. When I arrived at your mansion, I was sure those puppets didn't have any Circuitry Formation Runes related to monitoring and detection. Yet, you spoke through one of them first, showing it was the puppet that noticed our existence. How was that possible?"
Waritala glanced at Rean. "For soone who says to be pretty confident, it doesn't seem like you know much at all. Anyway, it is not any kind of secret. The puppets indeed had no Circuitry or even normal Formation Runes in them. What they had was Divine Sense Runes."
"Divine Sense Runes?" Rean narrowed his eyes. Right after, he began to draw in midair, using his Spiritual Sense to create a few seals. "You an like these Seals?" Those seals were pretty common. Even back in Sunkan Planet, the Dalamu Sect had people who used them. However, they weren't used for formations, so Rean never considered them before.
Waritala nodded. "It is similar but not entirely correct. Formation Runes still need materials to be made, right? While these seals you used only need your Spiritual Sense or Divine Sense. They are a kind of energy form. The Divine Sense Runes are made of both Divine Sense, obviously, and other materials like normal formations. The good thing about them is how hard they are to detect, as you saw previously."
Rean pondered a bit. "I know that formations can be controlled by Divine Sense; so even can store Divine Sense inside with so of its owner's sentience. Inheritances often have these types. But I've never heard about Runes made of both Divine Sense and Materials."
At the sa ti, Rean asked Sister Orb. 'What about you? Did you know anything about them?'
[If I did, I would have detected them with the system's help. They are indeed different.]
'True...' Rean wondered if he wouldn't be able to rely on the system again after this. Nonetheless, it wasn't ti to consider that.
Roan also had his own questions after that. "We did our howork, and we know you hold a good position in the Divine Realm base. But can you truly send us up without anyone caring about our identities?"
Waritala nodded with confidence. "That is easy. I just need to add you as a recognizance personnel for teleport coordinates. There is no need for identities in this case, and you will be allowed to co and go as you wish. Besides, you will be with , and I do have an identity that can be used. For all purposes and matters, you will only go up for a short ti while you help with the maintenance of the formation. That's how you will be seen."
Roan didn't detect even a hint of a lie in Waritala's voice, so he nodded, satisfied. "That's all I need to know."
"Okay, Lady Waritala," Rean didn't forget their part. "Thank you for answering our questions. Now, go ahead. Ask everything you want."
Waritala nodded and went straight to the main point. "How do you intend to make disappear? Once you have a Werdlem Stone, you are stuck with it for life. Naturally, your Werdlem Stone signature energy will never fade or change. Believe , I tried. If I wasn't desperate for a solution, I wouldn't even consider giving you ears."
Rean nodded and began to explain. "Actually, it is a very simple thod. I'm going to swap your Werdlem Stone for a new one."
"Ridiculous!" Waritala almost stopped in midair. "Do you think it is that easy to swap Werdlem Stones? Do you know just how many connections exist between your Werdlem Stone and the Datian? Not to ntion the rest of the body. What do you want? To cripple my cultivation forever?"
Rean shrugged. "And yet, I've done that before. Yes, I'm well aware of all the connections, intricacies, and relations to the body that the Werdlem Stone carries. It is truly a masterpiece that I have to bow to. Too bad the one who created it didn't know before. I can give you a 100% guarantee that I can swap your Divine Werdlem Stone for another one. It is not as ridiculous as you think. Don't forget, the Transition Realm experts get their normal Werdlem Stones changed to Divine Werdlem Stone by the Werdlem Empire all the ti, don't they?"
In fact, Rean had two ways of helping Waritala. One, obviously, was the thod he intended to use in Foliana. Foliana and Tony are now together, and he couldn't simply take them apart. So, he would use the system's thod to truly change the Werdlem Stone Energy Signature Foliana had.
However, that was a thod he didn't want to show outside. The idea that a Werdlem Stone Signature could be changed or copied was too dangerous. Rean used that thod himself all the ti, but he had the confidence of not being found. If he did that for Waritala and she spilled the beams, it would attract a new investigation from the main universe, sothing he truly didn't need.
That said, the easiest thod was to outright swap her Divine Werdlem Stone for another one. Although it was also considered sothing difficulty, at least the reason for the change of Energy Signature was acceptable. Another Werdlem Stone, so another ID, simple as that.
