Rean, Roan, and Kentucky would be lying if they said they were surprised by that approach. When they searched 'Werdlem Empire' and found nothing, they understood that this possibly raised so alarms. But that was already too late, so they simply continued their research. If necessary, they could simply flee. At so point, they noticed soone looking at them while they used the terminals. Still, since the one looking didn't co to bother them, they continued until they didn't have anything else to look for there. Now, the guy noticed they had finished and ca to invite them.
The twins' group nodded. "Very well. We also have a few questions of our own. Please show the way," Rean said.
The worker smiled and brought their group to a private room in the back, away from the various eyes on the public side. "Please, have a seat."
The twins and Kentucky took a chair each and faced the worker. However, the worker left the next mont, and they had to wait a few minutes until soone else appeared. A woman who seed to be in her thirties entered the room, also taking a seat in front of the twins' group. She had a cultivation at the Void Tempering Realm Late Stage but seed to occupy quite a high position in this place. "So, how about you start it first?" Roan asked.
The woman nodded. "My na is Zetia, and I'm one of the City Hall managers. It ca to our attention that you searched so key words in the terminal that are locked out of public sight."
"The Werdlem Empire?" Roan went straight to the point.
"Yes," The woman wasn't surprised and didn't deny it. "The fact you searched for those words and especially the various other requirents tells us that your group isn't from here. You must have co from outside the Divine Realm extre south. I believe that's how the experts from outside call this place. Or, you must be ascenders."
"First, let tell you what we call the extre south of the Divine Realm. Actually, it is a quite simple na, Divine Snow World. The entire extent of the Divine Snow World is covered, obviously, in snow."
She continued. "As for which one you are, I'm pretty sure you are ascenders. First, you are in the Peak Stage of the Transition Realm. That's the realm in which those who ascend from the Mortal World find themselves. Second, suppose you had acquired special permission to enter the Divine Snow World. In that case, you should also have been instructed to never talk about the Werdlem Empire here. Since you did, you obviously didn't receive those instructions."

Still, they were confused. Zetia was talking about ascension, but there is no such thing as ascension. You would always be teleported to the Divine Realm. They tried to ascend, but they failed when the Mortal World's Laws stopped them from reaching the Void Tempering Realm. Of course, they wouldn't tell her that.
Fortunately, their confusion was cleared with Zetia's next words. "You probably are wondering why I'm talking about ascensions. You must be confused yourselves since you didn't even know ascension was possible. As far as it is known, the only way to reach the Divine Realm is to swap your normal Werdlem Stones for Divine Werdlem Stones and then be teleported over, isn't that right?"
Rean quickly confird. "You seem to have read our minds. Indeed, we were quite confused ourselves." That was obviously a lie since they did indeed use the teleport formation. It's just that the system changed their coordinates. Rean wouldn't tell her that either.
Zetia smiled. "There is no need to be confused. If you are here, that is because you have been selected by the Mortal World Laws to ascend as it was supposed to happen instead of being teleported away."
"Selected?" They grew confused again.
"Indeed," Zetia continued. "We don't know which rules are followed for those to be selected, but it is a known fact in the Divine Snow World. Those like you are extrely rare. In this city, for example, we don't get more than ten per year. For the three of you to arrive together is quite impressive in itself."
Zetia didn't stop. "Anyway, that's the short explanation of how you ended ascending here. Now, what I called you here for is to introduce you to the Divine Snow World rules. Well, there is pretty much only one rule here you should pay attention to in this place. You must not ntion the Werdlem Empire to its residents."
"Why is that?" Roan asked.
"Who knows?" Zetia shrugged. "I'm only passing the words forward. However, know that breaking this rule will force the Inquisition Hall to make a move. You definitely don't want to be on their bad side, trust ."
"Yes, we know the Inquisition Hall works for the Werdlem Empire and the Supre Palace. No one would want to antagonize them," Rean added.
"It's good that you understand," Zetia was happy to hear that. "In this city, for example, only two people know about the Werdlem Empire. I am obviously one of them, while the City Lord is the second. I always take the job of speaking to new ascenders. But if I'm unavailable, the City Lord himself takes up the mantle."

"That sounds kinda scary," Rean pretended to be concerned. "Well, you can also choose to not do that. Just know that CDs don't work here." Zetia said that, but she was certain they would eventually do that. Living without the VS Device was quite a burden in this place. "So, any questions?"
Roan had one. "Yes. Can we leave the Divine Snow World?"
