Saria took a deep breath and cald down. If she gets shocked every ti Rean does sothing unbelievable, then she might feel shocked for the rest of her life. "Okay... but an arm can’t just regrow from nothing. Do you want to reattach it?"
She could regrow or reattach body parts, just like Rean. It’s just that with her healing skills, that would take quite a while.
Rean simply destroyed that arm he cut off, though. "No, make a new one grow for . Don’t worry," he then took one of Roan’s nutrient pills and tossed it in his mouth, "You will have the nutrients necessary to make it regrow."
Saria wondered if Rean was crazy or sothing. ’Perhaps it is because he has gone to such extents with his own body that his healing skills are so good,’ she thought to herself. "Okay, please hold."
The disciple, on the other hand... ’I better not get involved with him. This guy is nuts!’
"Ah!" It was then that Rean rembered sothing, pulling back. "I almost forgot you still haven’t passed your test. And here I am, wasting your ti. Do you want to buy a Sect Pass first?"
Saria stepped forward and grabbed Rean again. "No need. There is a lot of ti still, and I already have the points to buy so of the cheap passes. Now, let do my part so I won’t owe you anything."
’Light Cell Ressurection...’
Both her bloodline and her own control of the Light Elent ca forward as her Light Elent gathered around the injury where Rean’s arm was before. Rean watched with his Divine Sense as Saria’s skill acted on his cells and the nutrients being transferred from the pill to the injury.
’Hum... so that’s how her bloodline takes part in the process,’ Rean thought and continued to watch. ’Her bloodline is truly related to light itself. Each of her cells seems to carry Light Elent... No, that’s not entirely correct. It is better to say that the Light Elent is part of what constitutes her cells.’
Even though Rean thought that, it didn’t an only the elves had Light Elent in the composition of their bodies. Pretty much all races had all elents in their composition. Even Devils had Light Elent to so extent, although in their case, the Light Elent in their bodies was many, many tis less than Dark Elent, for example.
The only exceptions were probably so Spirit Races, and there weren’t many of them to start with. Of course, there were probably so other different demon beast or humanoid races with specific constitutions that also didn’t need Light Elent, but those would be even rarer and far, far in between.
The difference here was that Saria’s Elf Race carried much, much more Light Elent in their cells than any average race. The angels from Lisan could be said to be the closest to what Saria had, but they still lacked sowhat. For example, the angels’ light elent wasn’t as pure as Rean’s back then, and that said a lot about Saria’s Elf Race’s bloodline.
The more Rean saw his arm regrowing, the more he understood how her bloodline worked. "Well, let’s discuss it now. Your bloodline cells have a lot of Light Elent. Yet, that is not really what makes your race’s Light Elent so pure. Instead, it is how the Light Elent works inside every cell of your body. Correct if I’m wrong. It seems your cells take Light Elent as a vital part of their structure. Well, pretty much all races do, but your cells go to a much greater extent. It is like the Light Elent is another chromoso of your cell. The cells aren’t just holding light elent inside; they simply can’t work without it to start with."
Saria looked at Rean in surprise, even stopping her healing for a second. "You can tell that much? No, you must have researched us before, didn’t you?"
Rean shook his head. "If I had, why would I waste my ti making such questions? I’m pretty sure that your race’s abilities have been researched ti and ti again. This is truly my first ti seeing an elf and experiencing an elf’s bloodline. It’s just that I would rather ask you directly than see it through a report. I work better when I’m in direct contact with whatever I’m handling."
Saria had to admit Rean was right. What he said wasn’t any secret to start with.
Rean continued. "Going back to the main topic. Since the Light Elent itself is such an important piece of what constitutes your body, it also made your race evolve towards the usage of this Elent. The degree of Light Elent Purity you can achieve to match is mainly due to this property of your bloodline. I would say your race is one with Light Elent. It is not as simple as just being a necessary Elent for your existence."
Saria nodded. "You nailed it. Light Elent is indeed a big part of what an elf is. You were also correct to say that our Light Elent Purity was an evolutionary consequence of our race’s existence as a whole. But so what? Is that of any use for you? You don’t have an elf bloodline anyway. Wait! Are you thinking about having a kid with an elf for that reason?"
"You can’t be seriously asking that..." Rean didn’t know whether to laugh or cry there. "Did you hear anything I said earlier? I’m a married man, okay? Also, why would I need to have a kid with an elf to get the bloodline? Did you forget? My Light Elent Purity is already at the sa level as yours. I wouldn’t gain anything from it."
"Well..." Saria looked sideways. "Perhaps I’m thinking too much."
Rean smiled. "Anyway, I don’t need your elf bloodline to use Light Elent to this level of purity. However, I can use what I learned today to improve my own bloodline. Thank you. I think I know how to make my own cells evolve so that Light Elent will also beco one with them."
"Hahaha!" Saria couldn’t help but laugh. "That’s a good joke. As if it was that simp-" She didn’t finish her words, though. By looking at Rean’s confident expression, sothing told her he might truly pull it off sohow.
