Roan then arrived where Zangeshu and Ridia were having the Formations Masters’ Challenges. Ridia gave her points to Zangeshu, who used them to bet in those formations’ challenges. Zangeshu indeed proved to be Rean’s disciple. After a few hours, this group of Formations Masters had already run more than 10 challenges, and Zangeshu won five of them.

Truth be told, Zangeshu could have won them all, but he was cunning. He purposely lost so, so no one would think his skills were much higher. ’There is only you two left. How many points do you still need?’

Ridia imdiately looked at the token. ’Zangeshu and I have a little over 3000 points each... and I’m bored.’

Roan nodded. ’It is better to be bored than to fail this test.’

’But I wanted to gain so points on my own!’ The eagerness of the young girl’s mind was on full display. ’He doesn’t even need anymore. With the points he has, he can continue these challenges on his own. Yet, he just doesn’t let go.’

’Shut up!’ Zangeshu complained. ’This is so we won’t waste our ti in this place. If you lose your points, how long will it take for you to get more? It will be even worse if you fail. That will impact the ti Rean can spend working on formations with . I will absolutely not let that happen.’

’See?’ Ridia wasn’t the least bit happy. ’This is too annoying!’

Too bad for Ridia. Since Roan and Zangeshu had similar personalities, he obviously couldn’t agree more with Zangeshu’s approach. ’You will have plenty of ti to do whatever you want once you take your position as the continent representative in Gian’s place. For now, just let Zangeshu finish his work so you two can pass this test.’

Ridia understood her mistake. ’I shouldn’t have asked you to help . You are just like him.’

’Hmph!’ Roan didn’t mind and left. Zangeshu obviously wouldn’t have any trouble accumulating enough points for the two of them.

Sowhere else, Rean accompanied Saria as she selected her own option. "So you are going for the Elental Control Requirent in the end," Rean spoke.

"Why wouldn’t I?" Saria was confident. "I might not be as ridiculous as you, but I’m confident I can clear this requirent."

She then glanced at Rean. "By the way, I already asked everything I wanted to know from you. Why are you still following ? Do you still have more questions about my elf bloodline?"

"Not really," Rean shrugged. "I’m just bored now that I passed the test."

"Then go feel bored fucking sowhere else." Saria definitely wasn’t in the mood to have so company. "Looking at you makes rember the sha I just went through."

Rean laughed and stepped back a little, using his Divine Sense to see the various other participants going through their personal challenges. There were many that, just like Rean, already got enough points and cleared the stalls’ requirents to buy the passes. But then again, the majority wouldn’t have the necessary points for such a thing.

Let’s not forget the cheapest options in the stalls were at least worth 4000 token points. Rean and Roan, who started this test within the group with the highest initial points, only had a little over 1000 back then. That ans probably not even 20% of the participants in this field will manage to get the points to buy their passes. Even if they do, many won’t be able to clear any of the various requirents to buy a pass.

"Hum? Oh, it’s that guy!" Rean then found soone he talked to at the very start of the test, Forvani. At that ti, Forvani went to the center of the main field and asked everyone if they wanted to sell their points to him. In the end, Cualo cut his aspirations short, asking a ridiculous price for his points, which Forvani obviously didn’t pay. After that, Forvani gave up that thod and began to take part in the various challenges in the field, trying to focus on those he would excelled at.

"Hey, Forvani. How’s your gainings?" Rean asked with a smile.

Forvani, however, didn’t look very happy. "Are you here to make fun of ?"

"Err... not really?" Rean looked at Forvani’s token, which now had slightly less than 200 points. Forvani definitely had a lot more when the test started, though. "I see... Seems like things didn’t go well for you."

"Hmph!" Forvani pretended to not care. "I just need to find so other way to gain points. Anyway, why are you bothering ? Do you want to sell your points? If it’s Divine Stones, I have quite a lot."

Rean shrugged, showing his crumbled token right after. "I already passed the test, so my token beca like this. Even if I had points, I can’t sell them anymore."

"Tch," Forvani wondered if Rean ca here to throw that fact on his face. "Since you can’t do anything, then just go away. I think I know what kind of challenge I could win."

Rean looked in the sa direction Forvani was looking, sighing in response. "Are you talking about that small group of cultivators betting on who has the best control over fire elent? They seem to be using various different thods."

Forvani nodded, extending his hand and gathering Fire Elent around it. "So be it. As long as I win in most categories, I can leave on a high." Then, he began to make his way over.

Seeing that the guy was about to self-destruct, Rean spoke in a joking tone. "And here we have a wild Forvani, a mysterious creature that doesn’t seem to have the capabilities to connect the dots. Watch with as he throws himself into a scam designed to take advantage of unaware experts like himself."

Forvani’s steps froze midway, turning his head back to Rean. "Am I supposed to laugh? What do you an?"

Rean shrugged. "Those guys there. Most of them are in cohorts. They just pretend to be all participating in a random gathering where none of them know each other. However, I can guarantee that the few who end up in there to participate will lose terribly, just like those two."

Rean pointed at two cultivators within that group of fire elent affinity group. After a few minutes, the tables seed to turn against them, and they lost pretty much all the points they still had without even knowing why. The scam was so good that a few of the scamrs also ’lost,’ although they didn’t lose as much as those two.

Forvani was surprised Rean knew exactly who would lose the most from where they were. "How did you know?"

To no one’s surprise, Rean didn’t find it difficulty. "I’ve seen my own share of scamrs. I can recognize them anywhere." Well, there as also the fact Rean was the best at Yang Energy, and Fire Elent was a Yang Elent. He easily detected who was pretending and who wasn’t. He wouldn’t tell Forvani about that, though. "Anyway, good luck out there. Try to not fall for one of those plots so easily."

Forvani couldn’t help but get nervous. Could it be he almost ran out of points by now exactly because he couldn’t recognize these scams? "Wait! Would you mind giving so help? I can pay you with Divine Stones."

"Sure," Rean smiled. Since he had to wait in this place until the test was over, he might as well make so profit out of it. Besides, one thing made him very curious. Why would those who passed the test be kept in this place together with those who didn’t? Obviously, the sect planned for it, and Rean wouldn’t waste that opportunity.
