Everyone charged out, ranged attacks flying in all directions. Those sources of light were very volatile, and the contact with anything the sect threw at them caused them to imdiately explode.
*Boom, boom, boom, boom...*
However, for so reason, they never caused a chain reaction. They only exploded if they were hit by one of the sect mbers, never by the explosion of the nearby bombs.
Everyone attacked from afar, not daring to get too close. Each explosion wasn’t exactly big. They were quite small, considering the amount of Divine Energy and Fire Elent inside those yellow lights. But the problem was that. Those explosions were small, and all that energy happened inside those small spaces. That made them actually much stronger in that area.
More and more ranged attacks flew ahead, and more and more explosions happened every ti. Yet, there were just way too many of those flying bombs. The tens of thousands of sect disciples and elders looked like nothing in front of that sea of yellow lights.
Soon, many of those lights began to pass through the cracks in the sect’s battle formations.
*Boom, boom, boom...*
They hit the protection formation of the sect, causing it to tremble violently. Just seeing the damage alone already shows that each explosion had the power of at least an Elental Space Realm expert, and there were millions of them.
Without another choice, the Space-Ti Realm experts joined the fray, positioning themselves ahead of the rest. Their attacks alone were capable of covering a huge area, which greatly eased the burden of the lower-level experts behind.
That wasn’t enough, though. There were many more of those yellow light bombs coming from further ahead, making it hard to deal with them all.
’Kentucky,’ Rean called the Minokawa.
Kentucky understood what Rean wanted and quickly flew behind the experts defending the sect. He positioned himself between the sect and the defending forces.
’Kawa Blade Domain!’
Imdiately, Kentucky’s Domain expanded, and countless Feather Blades began to materialize. They were shot everywhere, precisely hitting all the yellow lights that managed to pass through the defenses of the disciples and elders. Well, at least the ones that were inside his Domain’s range.
Rean, Roan, Zangeshu, Rifindio, and Celis all joined the fray. They weren’t as good as Kentucky when it ca to spread attacks, but they definitely had their own area abilities.

And so, the defense of the sect continued. All this while, the sect continued to move forward, following Qwerty as best as it could. Its location was pinpointed by a device attached to it so the sect wouldn’t lose sight of it.
*Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...*
At so point, the sect reached the area where the first lights were standing before they shot in the sect’s direction. Those silver threads were still there, even though the yellow light bombs were not attached to them anymore. Still, those silver threads had other uses than just holding the yellow light bombs.
*Arrrghhh!*
Suddenly, one of the disciples, soone in the Transition Realm, began to scream. When others looked at him, they saw his body drying up and becoming gray. Right above his head, one of those silver threads could be seen. After a few seconds, the disciple’s body turned into dust, disappearing together with the silver thread. It seed to have pierced through his body and destroyed the disciple’s life from the inside out.
Abi had been paying attention to the entire battlefield all this ti, so she saw that as well. ’Careful with those silver threads! They have so kind of destructive power inside them. Do not touch!’
The Space-Ti Realm experts shifted their focus, also attacking the silver threads that remained ahead. Still, those silver threads were very thin and almost weightless. When they were cut, they simply floated with the wind. Many of them just stood in the way as the sect moved forward, making everyone’s lives even more difficult.
It was then that Kentucky noticed sothing. Even within those many explosions, his eyes caught the silhouettes of various buildings illuminated by the sa kind of yellow lights bombs. ’Look there!’ His Divine Sense ssage quickly reached everyone, including the elders and the sect master.
Sure enough, as the sect moved forward, the building beca visible to the other sect mbers. However, what caught their attention wasn’t the buildings nor the yellow light bombs and silver threads. Instead, it was the spider robots that were initially creating those things.
Thousands of them stood at the top of those buildings, seemingly waiting for sothing. When the sect got close enough, they aid their spinnerets in everyone’s direction.
*Ziu... ziu, ziu, ziu, ziu, ziu!*
Lasers of the sa color as those yellow lights were then shot in the sect’s direction. Turns out those spiders couldn’t just make bombs but could shoot lasers as well.
*Peng!*
Abi was taken aback, using her Divine Energy to defend against one of those lasers that ca in her direction.
*Boom!*
Yet, the mont the laser touched her Divine Energy Barrier, it caused another explosion, forcing her back a little. It wasn’t anywhere as powerful as the yellow light bombs, which had a huge concentration of Divine Energy and Fire Elent. Nonetheless, she could assert its power. Each laser was as strong as a Void Tempering Realm Initial Stage expert’s attack.
’Change formation!’ Her Divine Sense spread once again, giving precise orders to the various groups defending the sect. Imdiately, everyone who was in the Void Tempering Realm and above was pushed forward. They had the power to defend against those lasers even if they were hit. As for those below that level, their work continued the sa. Attack the Yellow Light Bombs, causing them to explode.
The situation was anything but easy, though. Between the Yellow Light Bombs, the lasers, and the silver threads, there was pretty much no ti for anything else. If their situation got worse, they would be forced to stop and let Qwerty go.
Lotan stepped forward, bringing Hudiander with him. ’We will deal with those spider robots or whatever they are. You guys continue to defend the sect.’
Yet, before those two could even try to move, sothing weird happened. The spiders stopped shooting at the sect. Instead, they turned against each other and began to attack their allies!
"This..." Everyone was at a loss. "What is happening here?"
