A huge do of Dark Elent quickly spread around, catching all the SANS Units who were charging at the CAU Units by surprise.
"What?!" Outside, Abi, Silveria, and the other mbers of the Divine Snow Mountain Sect were shocked. Roan simply appeared in the middle of the CAU Units out of nowhere. However... Roan was also just by their side right now!
"Were there two of you, Morty?" Abi looked at Roan, asking out.
Too bad, though. That Roan she was talking to began to dissipate into specs of light, soon disappearing completely. That deeply surprised Abi and the others. It wasn’t like they hadn’t seen cloning techniques before. However, until the real Roan appeared in the middle of the fight, they couldn’t tell that the Roan by their side was a copy at all. Their Divine Senses were spread all this ti, and their Roan truly seed the perfect real deal.
They weren’t the only ones. The SANS Units were just as shocked. During the various attacks Roan perford in the past months, he always, ALWAYS, stayed on the far back, never taking the front. He also positioned himself in an easy-to-see location and made it very clear that he was the one controlling the armies. The only ti Roan took the front lines was during the very first attack, the sa one he used to show CAU03 what he was capable of when in charge.
Because of that, the SANS Units always used the security system to at least keep an eye on Roan. The more he commanded the troops from afar, the more they wanted to find a way to get rid of him. Yet, because he always stayed far back, attacking him was impossible. They still had their limitations that prevented them from leaving the city’s range.
Eventually, they ca to accept Roan would always command the army from the back. The security system never took its eyes off him, telling the SANS Units’ leaders of his actions every second. That seed to be the most optimal arrangent as Roan could focus solely on the commanding.
Of course, Roan had never said he wouldn’t attack anymore. All of this was for this one chance, when the SANS Units were absolutely sure that he and his living beings’ group were outside. That’s why all the SANS Units close to the barrier imdiately attacked the CAU Units that invaded the city. They had to finish those Units fast in case Roan or any of his friends decided to help.
In the end, Roan was already there, and he didn’t hold back when activating his Death World Domain!
As one could expect, the SANS Units in the Domain were deeply affected, Dark Elent corroding every joint of their bodies nonstop. Roan used his Sky Energy to expand his Domain as far as possible, reaching almost five kiloters in range.
Inside the domain, the ones affected were only the ones Roan wished to. So, the CAU Units didn’t waste ti and imdiately attacked the SANS Units trapped inside.
That wasn’t all. CAU03 was already expecting this move, and he passed the orders. -Central Army, enter the city! Ignore everything else. We need to grab a hold of the city barrier and defend that location. There will be no such thing as retreating to our base anymore!-
Celis and the central army quickly began to pass through the gap in the barrier. At the sa ti, CAU03 looked at Abi and the others. "What about you? I’m joining my units. You can either help the left and right wings. Or, if you feel you have the courage, you can enter the city with us. It’s up to you." Before Abi and the others could even answer, CAU03 and the other CAU Units imdiately charged forward.
The elders and disciples looked at Abi. She was still the Sect Master, after all. "What are we waiting for? Let’s join them! I’m not idiot enough not to admit that was a very good move. They have a very good chance of taking hold of that position in the city, and that would be a big card in the following phases of this attack."
"Understood!" Everyone joined Abi, and they charged into the city as well. With several Space-Ti Realm elders joining the fray, even more SANS Units fell to the attacks. The SANS Units that were initially fighting Celis outside of the barrier were quickly eliminated as well.
Roan’s Domain only retracted by the ti Celis joined him. Roan’s actions gave Celis a little breathe, and he could get himself back together. Once again, the Energy Draining Domain spread, creating a relatively safer place for the CAU Units. As for those 20% of SANS City’s Units that were here a mont ago, only a handful managed to flee and regroup further away.
Now, the SANS Units far in the distance, the ones surrounding the Zoshia Enterprise, had their full attention locked in the CAU Units just inside the border of the city. They didn’t move, though. Now, more than ever, they would never leave the building’s range. At least not until they need to or were certain it would be the right decision.
For a mont, all hostilities stopped, both sides asuring each other. Sure, the first attack was a success, and the CAU Units now occupied a position that would be hard for the SANS Units to recover if they didn’t put a real effort into it. However, it doesn’t change the fact the SANS Units were much more nurous. If they truly charged at the CAU Unis army, not even the addition of the elders of the Divine Snow Mountain Sect would be enough to stop them.
CAU03 got by Roan’s side, throwing away a head of one of the SANS Units he had destroyed a mont ago. "What now?"
"Now we wait," Roan answered, crossing his arms and looking at the SANS Units in the distance.
CAU03 nodded, not saying anything.
Well, the sa didn’t happen for Abi and the sect mbers. "Wait? What wait? We need a plan to counter them if they attack us."
"Let’s hope they do so," Roan’s answer was even more unexpected.
A mont later, another two groups of CAU Units passed through the hole in the barrier, Rifindio and Kentucky joining the forces inside. "The SANS Units who were fighting us outside all fled back to the city, so we were left with nothing to do."
"Obviously," Roan nodded. "Now that we got a position here, defending the outside was aningless. They will soon join the SANS Units in the city and prepare."
"You still haven’t explained anything," Abi insisted on the side. "Why are we waiting? Shouldn’t we actually use this mont of chaos to attack or sothing?"
Roan looked at her as if he was looking at an idiot. "Are you seeing the sa things as I am? You aren’t blind, are you? Look at how many SANS Units are there. Attacking them now is suicide. The only reason they aren’t attacking us is because they are probably thinking we have so other plan to deal with them."
Abi’s mouth twitched. How long has it been since anyone treated her, the sect master, like that? Too bad Roan didn’t give a damn to her position. "So we will wait here until they decide to attack and then kill us all?"
"As I said, that’s what I hope they will do. However, that also ans they will have to detach a huge part of their army ahead, leaving the Zoshia Enterprise Building less protected. It is not an easy decision for them either," Roan explained.
Abi simply couldn’t see the aning behind all of this. So what if the SANS Units did that in the end? It wasn’t like they could sneak Qwerty inside the building anyway. The SANS Units had enough numbers to protect the building while also attacking and destroying the CAU Units here.
CAU03, on the side, looked at the SANS Units in the distance. "But will they really co?"
Roan faintly smiled. "Oh, they will. We will make them do that."
*Boom!*
Suddenly, an explosion followed, catching everyone’s attention. Just a few hundred ters to their right, a small group of CAU Units attacked a building, driving away all the SANS Units that had worked there until a mont ago.
*Boom, boom, boom...*
Several more tiny CAU Units attacked similar buildings, taking control of them with ease. The SANS Units inside were all production units that had little to no combat power, after all.
After seeing the buildings that were caught, CAU03 finally understood. "Oh! Well, that sure will make them move their butts."
Roan nodded. What did they attack and take control of? Many manufacturing facilities!
