"This is growing a little out of proportion, no?" Rean couldn’t help but comnt.
Celis, Kentucky, and Roan went silent. Sure, they managed to go from the Middle Stage to the Late Stage in five years. However, reaching the Elental Space Realm in twenty years didn’t seem possible. From what they could tell, it would take at least another nine years of constant cultivation to reach the Peak Stage, putting it at a total of 14 years of cultivation. Then, from the Peak Stage to the Elental Space Realm...
"So be it," Roan comnted in the end. That was still a ridiculously fast pace. "Even if we take double the ti we thought, it will be worth it."
"Well said!" Celis was very happy to hear that. The speed was definitely acceptable. If it wasn’t, then what to say of normal cultivators?
"That’s not the point," Rean pointed at the dust of the Starlight Stones that Celis absorbed. "The amount of Starlight Energy is rising way more than we expected. Do we even have enough Starlight Stones to reach the Elental Space Realm?"
Roan and Kentucky looked at Celis. He definitely could give a better answer than any of them.
Celis looked at the remaining Starlight Stones, pondering for a mont. "It is hard to say since we need to first reach the Peak Stage and see how much energy it requires. But, if I were to guess, I would say it is barely there. Even if it isn’t, we can spend a few extra years cultivating and absorbing the natural Starlight Energy from the Stars just to have the breakthrough."
Rean sighed in relief. "Oh, then that’s fine. We just need to find another source of Starlight Energy after that."
"Or we can continue to cultivate as usual, absorbing the normal Starlight Energy," Celis added. "Would it be slow? Yes, no doubt. But it would also be a guaranteed increase of power over ti."
"We are talking about about hundreds, if not thousands of years for each stage, you know?" Rean comnted again. He didn’t seem very attracted by the idea. They wouldn’t have any bottlenecks since that’s how the cultivation technique worked. Nonetheless... that was truly a very long ti.
"So what?" Celis shrugged. "We are cultivators, we have a ridiculous amount of lifespan anyway. I don’t mind at all."
Roan shook his head in response. "But we do. We want to return to Lisan to make sure everything is going well. We know you said things are under control there, but we can’t forget the Vruves and that bitch leader of theirs. She most likely still wants to take the Chaos Origin Source of our Universe and bring it back to her Universe. The longer we stay away, the higher the chances of sothing happening while we are out. Celis, slow cultivation won’t work. Once the Starlight Stones are over, we will look for another source."
"Besides," Kentucky joined. "Celis can still cultivate on his own while we work on other things. It might be even slower, but it is not like we wouldn’t be progressing."
"Sigh..." Celis didn’t have family or anything like that back in Lisan, so he couldn’t really understand the twins and Kentucky’s side. But then again, it wasn’t like he wanted Lisan to disappear, which would be the case if the Source was taken. "I guess there is no way around then. Alright, let’s continue our cultivation. We will only stop when we reach the Elental Space Realm."
Soone else wasn’t very happy to hear their decision later on, though. "What, it will take even longer?!" Naturally, that was Elsie Ranka, the Zuhure Spirit, who looked like a badger. "It is already a miracle you reached the Late Stage of the Space Bending Realm, which probably ans you were very close to it when we stopped in this place. How long do you think it will take for you to gain a single extra stage, uh?"
*Zup!*
The portal to the outside world appeared again, and Rean pointed it out. "If that’s a problem, you are free to go, you know?"
Elsie felt like crying already. How many tis are they going to play that against her? "At so point, that won’t scary anymore, you know?"
"Then you can just leave," Rean shrugged. "I don’t understand why you are in such a hurry anyway. What are a few decades of cultivation for experts like us? You should be used to that at this point. You are in the Space-Ti Realm, after all. You already have an unlimited life span at your cultivation level."
Indeed, the Elental Space Realm was the last realm with a real life span. For humans like the twins, for example, the total lifespan of an Elental Space Realm expert was around 28000 years. The amount of lifespan depended on the race of the expert, but one thing was equal for all of them. The Space-Ti Realm was when life spans disappeared. Elsie had no need to worry about dying because of ti.
"Of course I’m in a hurry," Elsie complained. "Do you know why I was being pursu-"
Rean suddenly put his hand on Elsie’s mouth. "Oh, please stop there. It was my bad, and I shouldn’t have asked. We have no interest in why you were being pursued. We would rather not hear about it at all. Thanks."
Elsie was furious. Every ti she tried to bring the subject up, both the twins always stopped her. And since they were inside the Pocket Dinsional Realm, she couldn’t talk about it even if she wanted. Any attempt to use Divine Sense to pass the ssage was blocked by Sister Orb. "Fuck! Then just go back to cultivate already. Leave alone!"
Well, at the very least, she could spend her ti cultivating too. And she had to admit, the environnt inside this Dinsional Realm wasn’t half bad for it.
Rean smiled, leaving the area straight away. They were truly doing their best to not get involved in any ss due to the Destiny Attraction Skill.
Once back with his group, Rean sat down. "Well, let’s continue."
