"Sorry, what did you say?" Elsie felt like she had heard sothing wrong. They just saw a Peak Stage Divinity Realm expert almost die, and only managed to survive with the help of several more similar experts. The water was obviously far from secure enough to cross the entire path.

*Grab!*

Yet, before Elsie could hear an answer, Rean grabbed her and pulled the poor Zuhure Spirit along.

Rean, Roan, Kentucky, Rifindio, Celis, and a not very willing Elsie ran to the lake at full speed, catching so of the eyes around. They wondered if the twins’ group had more of those Purple Liquid Bottles to pour inside. They never expected to see what happened next.

"NOOOOO!!!" Elsie scread, but it was too late!

They jumped on Kentucky’s back, who tried to fly over the lake. "Shit, it is too much!!!"

Yet, Kentucky imdiately fell into the lake with everyone else. The gravity seed to increase many tis there, and Kentucky wouldn’t be able to fly even if he were alone, let alone carry everyone.

*Splash, splash, splash, splash, splash, splash!*

All six of them fell into the lake!

"SHIT!"

Without thinking twice, the experts around all run away from the lake once again. "Why the hell are they committing suicide?! Fuck!"

Everyone cursed, but no one ran too far. The twins’ group was mainly Elental Space Realm experts. There was only one Space-Ti Realm in their midst. That said, even adding all six of them, the explosion they could create wouldn’t be too big or dangerous.

But...

One second;

Five seconds;

Ten seconds;

Thirty...

A minute!!!

No explosion followed, much to everyone’s surprise. They should have been dead by now! Could it be that the lake can’t create explosions anymore now that it has lost a lot of its power? But then again, if the twins’ group died, their bodies should have floated to the surface. From the looks of it, once the body is completely decayed due to the lake’s power, even gravity can’t keep the broken, dark body parts from floating around.

A few minutes passed, and the various experts with their different lights approached the lake slowly. Before, their Divine Senses couldn’t enter the lake’s murky water. Now, however, it was possible. It’s just that since the lake still had so of that corrupting power, Divine Sense couldn’t go far inside, and what the experts could see was all blurry.

It didn’t matter, though. They were only looking for anything that resembled the twins’ group. That big bird should be very easy to identify. Yet, there was nothing! The best Divine Senses could see five to six kiloters, but there was no sign of any of them.

"This..."

"Where did they go?"

"Do you guys think they can survive inside the lake?"

"Don’t be ridiculous! Didn’t you see what happened with the guy from Universe 954?"

"Then where are they? We all saw them falling just a few tens of ters ahead."

"Why are you asking ? I’m as puzzled as anyone else. Perhaps the lake completely destroyed their bodies."

It was then that soone finally pointed out. "Hey, look! On the other side!"

On the opposite side of the lake, where all seven colorful waterfalls could be found, there were many rocky places by the side of the lake. It was near the water, where it t with the rocks, that they saw a group walking out of the lake. It was too far to see with Divine Sense, but normal sight had no issues catching sight of the enormous black and white bird... although he didn’t look more than an ant from so many kiloters away.

On the other side, Elsie seed completely dumbstruck. "I... I thought we were going to die..."

Rean laughed in response. "Hahaha! Why would we try such a thing then?"

Going a few minutes back in the past, Rean had seen how Rondenis, the guy who attacked him but ended up being thrown into the lake, survived the corruption. For Rean, that was all he needed to see. During the process where Rondenis’s companions helped him heal from the corruption, Rean checked everything in detail with his Divine Sense.

At that point, he was certain of what he was seeing. Thus, he told his group that they could already attempt to cross the lake if they wanted. Why? Because Rean’s overpowered Purification Skill was definitely more than enough to counteract the effects of that weaker lake.

Of course, if they didn’t need to cross the lake underwater, they wouldn’t. That’s why they first tried to have Kentucky fly across it. Too bad, though. As one could imagine, there were safety asures in place to prevent anyone from taking the easy route. Kentucky only flew a few tens of ters before gravity above water increased beyond what Kentucky could handle. Thus, they fell into the lake.

Their group didn’t seem to care, though. Rean, Roan, and Kentucky, all three of them, used Rean’s Purification Skill and kept it active. At the sa ti, each of them held one of their companions and used the Purification Skill on them as well. Kentucky held Celis, Rean held Elsie, and Roan held Rifindio.

From there onwards, all they had to do was walk forward. They would swim if it were possible, but the weight of their bodies was too high to achieve that. They were forced to move underwater.

Of course, they were on high alert. If the lake’s power grew too much, they would turn around and leave the lake. That didn’t happen, though. The Purple Liquid in the bottles truly worked over the entire lake. Rean’s Purification skill was more than enough to keep them safe as long as they didn’t run out of energy to use it.

Finally, on the other side, they ca out of the lake and were now staring at the colored waterfalls.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU SURVIVE IT?!" At that mont, a powerful voice echoed from the other side of the lake, where everyone was watching the twins’ group. It goes without saying that everyone there wanted nothing more than to be in the twins’ place.

Kentucky looked back, laughing and using his Divine Energy to speak. "Hahaha! Kiss my butt!" And then, he rolled his feathered butt in everyone’s faces. The bird didn’t give a damn!
