The barrier did indeed try to regenerate and increase the protection in the area where Roan was using his Dark Elent. This was the sa barrier that stopped several Divinity Realm experts who didn’t have their cultivations suppressed last ti. So, you would imagine Roan couldn’t possibly break it with his Transition Realm at the mont. There was a difference, though. Roan wasn’t attacking from inside, which was what the barrier had been designed to protect against. He was doing it from the outside, corrupting it.
The barrier still tried to regenerate itself with difficulty, especially since it was very, very old. Chances were, it had already lost quite so of its power.
anwhile, Rean also started to use Roan’s Dark Elent through their connection. The plan was simple, attack the barrier from different sides from the outside. The fact the Barrier allowed the Dark Elent to go through due to its nature definitely didn’t do good to its shell. Last but not least, Sister Orb couldn’t send and bring anything inside the Dinsional Realm, but she definitely could analyze the formations outside. Thus, she told the twins exactly where they should focus.
[Okay, Rean, try to create an opening there... good, good. Now, focus everything on a single point. Roan is forcing the barrier to defend a bigger area, so it shouldn’t lose too much energy on the point you are trying to open.]
The twins had asked Sister Orb if she could simply hack into it and open the barrier, but her answer was that it would take so ti. There were protections in place that she couldn’t lift the protection fast enough.
Rean concentrated, his laws gathered, and with the support of his own Light Elent, he used Roan’s Dark Elent to force a way open.
*Crick...*
It was tiny, just a small breach. The barrier diverted so of its energy where Rean was, but because it was such a small gap, it still focused most of its energy where Roan was working. Imdiately, the gas began to flow out of the opening, but Rean didn’t seem to care.
’Life Style, Purification!’
A white aura covered both him and Roan, and the gas, even with its Major Law of Structural Corruption, couldn’t affect them. He had two completely comprehended Major Laws on his side, after all.
"Alright, Celis, go ahead!" Rean shouted as well.
Celis nodded all the way up, and he concentrated on his vine. It continued to grow from the point where Rean was standing. There was a difference now, though. Rean was touching it, enveloping the growing vine with the sa white aura of purification and Light Laws.
The vine passed through that tiny opening, shooting down. Elsie’s Master was already waiting, and he used the little bit of Divine Energy he could control to show Celis where his Core was.
"Found it!" Celis imdiately enveloped that Core, which felt more like a rough, round stone, and pulled it upwards. The opening Rean created on the barrier was small, but so was Elsie’s Master’s Core. The vine pulled back through, with much of it already dead. Even with Rean’s Purification active, the concentration of that gas and the Major Law inside that barrier was just too high, especially since the Vine wasn’t part of Rean’s body.
Nonetheless, the plan worked. The Core was out, and Celis threw it to Rean before he cut his losses there. The part of his vine that got contaminated was cut out, and Celis began to pull the twins up.
Celis’s Vines retracted at high speeds, and Elsie looked down in excitent. Finally, a few minutes later, the twins appeared again in the corridor, landing by the side of the hole.
"Tch..." Celis wasn’t satisfied. "Had my cultivation not been suppressed to the Transition Realm, there is no way my vine would have been contaminated."
Rean smiled. "It’s fine. Or could it be that the little bit of that vine you lost will affect you?"
"As if!" Celis shook his head, returning to his humanoid form. The amount of energy he lost there truly wasn’t worth ntioning.
"Master!" Elsie quickly grabbed the Rock Core from Rean’s hand. She then touched it with her own core, sending a flow of Earth Elent from herself into her Master’s core.
The Rock Shell Manifestation began to break apart, and just like a shell split in half, it opened, revealing a slightly bigger Core than Elsie’s. Nonetheless, it gave the exact sa sensation as Elsie did.
"Hmph!" Her master snorted, and his body projection reappeared for the first ti after well over a hundred thousand years. "Now you call master, uh? I seem to rember soone calling Useless Old Geezer."
"You have no right to complain!" Elsie countered. "Were it not for , how long would you have spent down there? I’m surprised you haven’t gone crazy after spending such a long ti alone."
That was true. Elsie’s Master had indeed spent way too long alone, and it wouldn’t have been weird if he had acquired so ntal issues due to that.
"Do you think I’m an idiot?" He shook his head. "I obviously know the risks, so I didn’t just use the Rock Shell Manifestation. I also closed up my mind, forcing myself to sleep. That way, I could protect my sanity. I only woke up once every thousand years to check the situation. After confirming I was still trapped and with no way out, I resud my slumber."
"Then, ten years ago, my cultivation suddenly got suppressed to the Transition Realm. As you know, the palace always takes at least a hundred thousand years to appear and at most two hundred thousand. But no one knows exactly when it will happen in this space of another one hundred thousand. Only when my cultivation was suppressed did I wake up again and understand the Palace was about to open. So, to be honest, I’ve only been awake for ten years. I can’t rember almost anything that happened in the anti, except for the small monts I woke up in between."
"Oh! To think you would co up with such a thing! I’m quite surprised, master!" Elsie spoke, genuinely impressed.
The guy’s mouth twitched. "You do think I’m an idiot, don’t you?"
"You are," Elsie nodded. "I told you a hundred million tis that you shouldn’t co. It was not the ti yet. But nooooooooooooo! You just had to try, right? You sneaked out, didn’t tell fucking anything, and ca to this place, didn’t you? Yes, you were an idiot! You are still an idiot!"
The old Zuhure Spirit looked away, finding it hard to look into Elsie’s eyes. "Ahem... Now that I think about it, I haven’t introduced myself to your friends." He quickly changed the subject, looking at the twins’ group. "Hello. My na is Royer Ranka, this thing’s master, unfortunately."
"Who are you calling thing?!" Elsie felt like crying, too bad her body projection didn’t have that capability.
The twins’ group looked at that cody duo. Was that really the relationship between a master and a disciple?
"Well, they seem to get along..." Rean comnted with a weird smile.
Roan ignored all of that, though. "Enough with this waste of ti. I have a lot of questions for you. But before that..."
Roan glanced behind, and so did everyone else. Just now, a Divine Sense passed over them. Not only one but several of them. "Let’s deal with this issue first."
