Going back a minute or so, the twins’ group was crossing the portal that connected to the next Region. However, at that mont, Rean and Roan’s eyes narrowed, and they looked around, confused.
"What is it?" Kentucky and Celis noticed it, asking.
Yet, neither Rean nor Roan could explain it well. "For a mont, we felt like we were being observed. No, it was deeper than just being watched... It was weird..."
"We are traversing a Spatial Tunnel," Royer comnted. "How could anyone check anything in this place?"
Rean and Roan had to admit Royer was right. "Yeah, we might be overthinking it."
"Then I must be overthinking as well," Rifindio comnted. "I also felt like soone or sothing was looking at , although it was only for a few seconds. I didn’t ntion it because it seed ridiculous for it to happen in a place like this."
One person might be a coincidence; two would be a stretch, but three? Now, that was ridiculous! "Let’s keep an eye out for any surprises," Roan comnted. Little did they know that the one who was observing them just now was connected to all the Universe Owners.
"I can see the other side!" Elsie comnted, seeing the exit ahead.
*Zush!*
Their group ca out of the Portal just to see other groups in the distance. They were standing still, not moving forward. Obviously, those groups were the sa ones who entered the portal ahead of them.
"What are they doing?" Elsie asked her master.
Yet, Royer was just as confused. "This is a region I haven’t experienced before. I don’t know what could happen here."
They all looked at Grititi, who also shook his head. "Don’t look at . I knew about the previous region, but I have no idea what this one is about."
*Pat, pat!*
Rean then patted Grititi’s back, smiling at him. "Seems like it is your ti to shine, little bat! Grititi, I chose you! Go!"
Grititi’s had to control himself to not explode in anger right there and then. Too bad he had the Soul Power Bomb in his Soul, so he couldn’t retaliate at the mont. ’I’ll make sure you are the first one I kill when the opportunity shows itself,’ he thought for a mont and stepped forward.
Grititi changed into his Camazotz Bat form and walked ahead of the group. Let’s not forget the gravity, so he couldn’t fly unless he spent way too much energy. Following that, he made sure to use the energy and blood he had acquired from the various deaths earlier to cover his body in a bloody, red armor, increasing his defense. The laws of blood also acted on himself, and Grititi was ready to flee at any mont.
After Grititi moved ahead a few kiloters, the twins’ group finally began to follow him. Nothing different seed to happen, but the fact those groups further ahead still weren’t moving bothered them.
Everyone tried to use their Divine Senses to check if they were right, but in this place, Divine Senses didn’t seem to move more than a few hundred ters ahead. No one was surprised, as this kind of thing was normal in a place like this.
However, not long after, they noticed that Grititi began to slow down as he got close to those groups. It looked weird as it didn’t seem like Grititi noticed he was going slow himself.
"Stop," Roan ordered, and they all ca to a halt.
Then, he simply took out a Divine Stone from his Spatial Ring, concentrated his Divine Energy on his arm, and swung forward.
*Zush!*
The divine stone shot forward like a bullet, leaving a trace of light behind. With Roan’s strength, he could definitely throw the Divine Stones several kiloters of distance with ease. Well, it was a lot harder here with the gravity issue, but he compensated for it with more Divine Energy in his arm.
However, the stone also began to slow down. Not long after, it got near Grititi, who caught up to the other groups as well. Grititi and the Divine Stone ca to a halt themselves, the Divine Stone standing still in midair. From what they could see, there was nothing holding the stone there, but it simply didn’t fall to the ground at all.
"What is happening ahead?" Elsie couldn’t help but ask.
The twins’ group knew already. "Ti. They are locked in ti."
"Ti?" Elsie was taken aback. "But I can’t feel ti power at all."
She is in the Space-Ti Realm, so she obviously knew how to control ti power.
"You can’t feel any ti power because your cultivation is restricted to the Transition Realm," Rifindio comnted. "It’s the sa thing for Spatial Power. You can’t use it at all at the mont, can you?"
Elsie found it strange. "But how co out Natural Spatial Perception is still working then?"
"Because you are just at its door," Roan comnted. "You must have heard about so geniuses who managed to use Spatial Powers before they reached the Void Tempering Realm, right?"
"Yes," Elsie nodded, glancing at Roan, "Like the four of you, right? I didn’t see you when you were in the Transition Realm, but since you can use Spatial Power with your cultivation suppressed right now, I guess you could also do it back then. In any case, I’ve also heard about others, but they are rare, extrely rare."
"Correct," Roan didn’t deny it. "Simply put, using Spatial Power in the Transition Realm is possible. That’s why your Natural Spatial Perception still works, even if it is limited to a very small range of a few ters due to the cultivation suppression. Ti power is different, though. That’s not sothing you can do in the Transition Realm, regardless of how much of a genius you are. That’s why you can’t feel the Ti Power acting up ahead. Of course, this is just a theory, but I’m pretty sure I’m correct."
Elsie accepted that explanation. "So be it. Now, does that an the ti ahead has slowed down?"
"That’s probably the case," Roan and the others confird.
Royer sighed on top of that. "Now we know why the Self-Defense Globes were necessary. They most likely have the ability to break through this wall of ti. However..."
Rean agreed with him. "Yes, there might be a way around. We just need to find how."
