There was indeed a reason for all of them to be there still. After they separated from the twins’ group, the experts went on hunting for Dark Green Cocoons. After all, they, too, noticed those lights were coming from them.

However, even though they passed by the sight of various Cocoons, they were all dead or dying. The lights themselves seed to have no use they could think of. It wouldn’t be a problem since it is believed a portal would appear once they were destroyed. Unfortunately, there were no portals left behind.

It was then that they noticed that the roots began to die as well, so they moved back to the crossing point to the next region. If the roots were dying, perhaps the killing roots near the border would die as well, right?

So, they got here, and the roots still attacked them. But, surprisingly, they weren’t that strong. Their group managed to defend fairly easily against the killing roots. They also noticed that the roots were dying fast. Since that was the case, why risk it? They simply began to wait for the killing roots to die completely. After that, wouldn’t they be able to simply traverse this area?

Thus, when the twins’ group arrived at this place, they t with the experts they had separated from earlier that day. Not only that, they also agreed that their idea of waiting for the killing roots to finish dying was indeed the best course of action.

"I see..." Royer nodded, still playing the leader role. "We have been running around, checking the sights of those dead Cocoons. Unfortunately, we didn’t find a single portal, let alone anything else of value. In the end, we decided to co and check this place. It is a good thing you decided to wait since we can join forces again."

Werkel nodded. Even if he didn’t care about the ’weak’ mbers of Royer’s group, Royer’s knowledge was definitely welco. "Well, we just need to wait now. Consedu, what do you think?"

Consedu, the one who had information about this region, spoke. "It should be about ti. Even if there are still so roots alive, they are obviously too weak to pose a threat to us. Just don’t drop your guard. We never know if this is actually so trap or such."

No one disagreed, and they began to venture into the killing roots area, heading towards the next region. So of them had noticed Rifindio’s breakthrough. But no one seed to care much about it. They had seen his cultivation at the Peak Stage of the Elental Space Realm before, so it was only natural he would enter the Space-Ti Realm Initial Stage.

The bait- Ahem... Grititi moved in front as per Royer’s orders, and he paid attention if any roots would attack them. Turns out there were indeed a few roots still alive. It’s just that they were indeed too weak. Let alone these experts who can use laws. Any common Transition Realm expert would be able to easily deal with the roots as they are now.

Finally, the light of the sky changed completely, being replaced by a purple color. At the sa ti, the expanse of the roots ended, seemingly unable to enter the next region. What appeared in front of them this ti was a world of purple crystals.

Purple lights seemingly flashed through the crystals, creating a current of light that moved everywhere, like a bunch of snakes.

"I know this one," An expert who seed to be around his early thirties spoke. His na was Lindiho, and the Blue Light on his chest showed he ca from the sa Universe as Cafantrie, F953. His expression seed awful, obviously carrying bad mories of this location. "Just ignore these Purple Crystals for now. What really matters is what is ahead. We will soon find an arena made of these crystals, and things will get quite crazy."

Everyone was puzzled, but Lindiho just walked ahead. "Let’s go. I’ll explain there."

They only had to walk for a little bit over a day. Finally, in the distance, they noticed a construction made of these Purple Crystals growing in their view. At first, it looked pretty small, but that was just the distance. It still took them an hour to get there. Now, in front of this place, they could see how it expanded for tens of kiloters. Inside, they found the arena Lindiho comnted about.

That wouldn’t be a big deal if you could just ignore it. Unfortunately, there was no way of going around this arena. There was only one entrance, and the sides seed to be blocked by spatial manipulation. Going over the arena also didn’t work. Kentucky tried that, and he was quickly sent down by the sa power.

Inside, Lindiho explained everything. "This arena works through mories. We will not fight each other. In fact, once we step into the middle, we will be separated by the Spatial Manipulation of this place."

"That’s when the troubles really start," he continued. "You will have to fight the strongest enemy you have killed in your life. You might think it is easy since you already know how to defeat them. Unfortunately, that is not the case. In this arena, they will be twice as strong, have twice as big energy reserves, gather a lot more laws power, and their weapons will be twice as sharp, strong, and resistant. Simply put, you better be ready to die if you go in there."

Royer noticed sothing. "Since you are here, you must have fought in there, right? Did you win?"

"I did," Lindiho nodded. "But it was a grueso victory, and that’s because I gained a lot more strength since I defeated that enemy in the past. Of course, the rules of the Golden Palace still apply. If this place exists, it is because it is possible to get through. It’s just that back then, over half of my companions died here."

Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis looked at each other. The strongest enemy they have fought? That would obviously be the Semi-Celestials back in the war against Garisan. One of them even pulled out a weird figure that forced the twins to sacrifice themselves to attain victory. Would they have to fight Semi-Celestials who are twice as strong and who could gather Celestial Laws on their own? That would be complicated...

Yet, Rifindio’s expression was even worse. Who were the strongest enemies he fought so far? Well, that has to be the twins’ group, of course. But then, he relaxed. This arena only uses experts you have killed, and he absolutely didn’t kill the twins’ group. So, who would it be? He was quite curious to see.

His expression turned bad again. During his journey with the twins, he was involved in the death of quite a few pretty strong enemies he had no hope of winning on his own. Would one of them appear? And would they be twice as strong? He was now nervous.

Of course, the twins’ group weren’t the only ones. Pretty much every single expert there had that sa horrible expression. But then, while they were deciding if it was worth giving it a try or not, a new group arrived at the arena.
