Roan looked at her, asking. "So, what now? We helped Rifindio, and he will be the next owner. We probably don’t have much use for you anymore, and I’m pretty sure we are soon to be sent back to F956."

Triaglia smiled in response. "Do you expect to do sothing against you? Sorry, but I’m better off not getting involved with the F956 Universe’s matters anymore. If Rifindio himself decides he wants to do sothing, then that’s his problem, not mine."

Rean couldn’t help but ask. "You knew the Werdlem Empire was after us. Your Universe even received the orders to investigate this issue. Why did you decide to leave us free instead of delivering us to the Empire?"

"Isn’t that obvious?" Triaglia shrugged. "I said it already back in the Palace. I expected you to help Rifindio. Of course, I won’t lie. I truly didn’t think you would co to the Palace this early. My idea was to get you all inside next ti when the experts of various Universes are gathered again, which should have been millions of years from now. Not that I’m complaining. You did great and helped acquire my freedom."

"That’s the thing I don’t understand," Kentucky joined. "Why did you think we would help him?"
