The twins’ group then left the area, returning to the hotel. Since Foliana and Tanxan were there, they had a room already, so they all used the sa one. After all, they wouldn’t really be inside the hotel room, but inside the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm.
"It had been a while since I was here..." Foliana looked around, seeing that it was much bigger now. "Oh, right! I have so doubts regarding the cultivation technique, so I’ll go talk to Roan."
Rean nodded and stayed behind with Tanxan. "So, wanna get a good look at what we are working on?"
Tanxan had no reason to refuse. "Sure. I also have a few things I picked up after looking into the Werdlem Empire’s formations."
And so, everyone began to occupy themselves with their own things.
Three days later, a new bomb was dropped in the Werdlem Network. Their new Universe Owner had arrived, and Triaglia concluded the process of power transfer. Together with it ca a live ssage from Rifindio to all the connected CDs in the Universe.
There wasn’t really anything new in his words. He just told everyone how he planned to keep the status quo, that the Supre Palace would still not intervene with the outside world as much as possible, and that everyone could simply carry on with their lives. This was a kind of change that really only affected the top powers and the top experts. Other than that, the rest of the Universe wouldn’t feel any aningful difference.
Of course, for Rifindio, things were only starting. From there, he would need to go to the three Higher Realms and talk with the leaders of most top powers in the Heavens, Underworld, and Divine Realm. To cent his position, he would also need to display his own strength. It wasn’t that hard since, with the Universe Root Egg, he was the only Celestial Realm Expert who could live inside this Universe once Triaglia left. Even the twins back in Lisan, when they reached the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm with their fused bodies, knew that they were nothing in front of the Celestial Realm Expert from Garisan. They were just luck that that expert couldn’t enter the Universe.
The following weeks proved quite good for Rean, Zangeshu, and Tanxan. The three of them were Formations Masters, one a prodigy in precision stuff, and the other two highly experienced. After acquiring the Worm’s Minerals, Rean shared the upgrades he had made to the system armor.
Tanxan ca from a Universe that already had those kinds of armors, even if the na was different. It’s just that those armors weren’t really his specialty, so he had to revise the tech. Nonetheless, his inputs proved quite valuable.
In the end, Rean, Zangeshu, and Tanxan managed to revise the blueprints and create the System Armor Micro Defense Runes with the new materials. The system armor itself didn’t really gain any new features. However, it sure beca more resistant and had a faster response to the commands given to it. It also reflected in its ability to communicate from rune to rune.
For example, when Roan’s armor was penetrated by the power of the Golden Petal back in the Golden Palace, the runes quickly moved to close that gap in the armor. That’s how the armor worked. With the new materials, this fast response beca even faster, especially because of the fact that the worm’s minerals could be transford into a lot more malleable tals and alloys for the micro runes.
A month and a half since Rifindio’s return...
"So this new version should give higher protection and response, is it?" Roan held the pyramid-like item in his hand. That was the system armor in its deactivated state, just like before.
"Yes," Rean confird. "As you know, the system armor not only gives you protection, but it also makes it easier to manipulate the elents and energies once they co out of our bodies. So, give it a try. With the new alloys added under the protective layer of the micro runes, you should have a higher defense and just so slightly better control over your elents and energies."
Roan nodded, but he didn’t activate it. Instead, he looked at Foliana. He had given her so advice and made a few adjustnts to the cultivation technique he had created for her back then. "Try this out. I’m going to attack, so see if you can protect yourself."
Foliana was taken aback, grabbing the item. "Are you sure? Isn’t this thing super hard to make? What if I break it?"
"Hahaha!" Rean laughed in response. "I very much want you to break it. That would show the problems so I could fix. Well, forget about breaking it. Just try not to die today."
"But..."
*Zush!*
*Bang!*
Before Foliana could say anything else, Roan flashed on her side, kicking the girl right in the face! Her nose instantly broke, and blood flowed out. There was now a footprint there, not sothing any woman would feel happy with. Well, no one would, but won especially.
"I won’t be so lenient in the next one." Roan’s Elental Intent Scythe appeared, just one, and he once again shot in Foliana’s direction.
Foliana quickly used her Divine Energy to stop the bleeding and ignore the pain. At the sa ti, she added a drop of her blood in the pyramid-like item, which absorbed it in an instant. The item broke apart into countless specs of light and spread all around the girl. The armor now covered every single milliter of her body, and the best part, it didn’t even seem to be there!
Foliana had no ti to be surprised, though. Roan was already there, and she could feel he had co for her head! He would not stop!
A pair of Dual Blades ca out of her Pocket Dinsional Realm, which reacted to Foliana’s Red Lightning! That was one of the several pairs of Dual Blades Rean had made for her before they separated many years ago. He made one pair for each cultivation level, and that pair was the perfect one for the Elental Space Realm.
*Swish!*
*Pang!*
Yet, poor Foliana could do nothing as her body was sent flying. That was only the start.
