While Rean was working on the bracelet with Zangeshu and Tanxan, it wasn’t like the Roan and the others were doing nothing.
First, Roan checked with Sister Orb again to see if she copied Kuruhei’s Werdlem Energy Signature properly. After confirming that, the next step was to leave the Universe.
There were two options for that. The first was to locate the closest Great Void Shifter, even if it was broken, and utilize the Abyssal Path it was connected to. The twins didn’t need to go to a higher-ranked Universe. Instead, they could use the knowledge they already had and move back to a lower-ranked one.
Once there, they could connect to the Werdlem Network with Kuruhei’s ID and get all the information they wanted.
That thod had a problem, though. Kuruhei was supposed to be fighting in D33, so why would his ID suddenly access the Network from a Universe completely different, and a lower-ranked one on top of that? There is no doubt that it would be checked, and it would be easily found that Kuruhei is still back in D33. Roan couldn’t let that happen, as it would be the sa as showing the Werdlem Universe that the Werdlem Energy Signature could be copied, which everyone believes to be impossible.
Since that was the case, only the second option was available. Roan would need to leave this Universe the usual way, crossing the barrier and coming out into the Great Void. If he connects to the Werdlem Network at that place, it would make a lot more sense. After all, he is making that connection right beside D33.
There was an advantage here. With the Werdlem Network not working inside D33, Kuruhei himself wouldn’t know soone used his ID to connect to the network. The Werdlem Empire wouldn’t ask him either, since the only way to connect to the network was by exiting the Universe itself. Even if soone took notice of that connection, they would simply think Kuruhei ca out to check sothing and returned inside D33. No questions would be asked. It was different from going to a different Universe.
With that in mind, the first thing Roan did was to co out with Kentucky and find the nearest Pseudo-Temporal Path. As ntioned before, the temporal paths were used to travel all around this Universe, and they can’t be closed or destroyed like a normal formation.
No, that wasn’t entirely correct. With enough power, you could still disrupt a Temporal Path to make it collapse. It’s just that no one would waste their ti doing that without a good reason. If anything, the living beings would try to protect these paths for their own use while they fight the Umbras.
And so, Roan and Kentucky found the paths, and they went from one to another, pretending to be soone else every ti. It was during this journey that Xian left while Roan and Kentucky continued on their way.
At so point, Rean ca out, and Roan returned to the Dinsional Realm. It didn’t make a difference who was outside as long as they were going in the right direction.
Still, when he arrived inside the Dinsional Realm, Foliana couldn’t help but ask sothing. "By the way, Roan... What do we do to this guy?"
Foliana pointed to the ground, where an unconscious man could be seen. He wasn’t injured anymore. Actually, he was fully healed, perfectly healthy, and the only reason he hasn’t woken up yet is that Sister Orb made so.
Who was that? Who else if not Yeml? The sa person whose identity Rean copied to enter the main spaceship. Yeml was still there, and it was almost as if everyone had even forgotten he existed.
Roan narrowed his eyes. "I completely forgot he was still here..."
Alright, they did actually forget about him...
"Yeml is supposed to have been killed by Kuruhei back in the Spaceship, no?" Foliana pointed out. "If we release him, he will eventually return to his army or his Universe, and everyone will know he hasn’t really died. They will definitely wonder how he escaped the spaceship, which obviously he wouldn’t know, since that wasn’t him. Could this lead to an investigation into the fake identity? Wouldn’t it be risky for the secrecy of the Celestial Soul System’s copy capability?"
Roan nodded slightly. "You really saw through it all."
’Hey!’ Rean’s voice echoed in the area while he traveled with Kentucky outside. ’You better not be thinking about killing him! You saw his mories. He isn’t exactly a saint, but he isn’t that bad either. He was just unlucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong ti. Oh, well... It was actually I who rescued him just as he was going to be killed, so I guess it is more about being lucky.’
Roan felt annoyed. He didn’t want to give it any chances of revealing the existence of the Celestial Soul System.
But then, Rean had an idea. ’Right... once we co out of the Universe, I’ll use our system to change his ID. Yet, I’ll make it an identical identity to his own. For the Werdlem System, it would look like a different person, but for Yeml, he won’t see any difference.’
[Should be possible...] Sister Orb gave her opinion. [But there is also the fact that he will et other beings who knew him in the past. Those beings likely already know he died to Kuruhei, so wouldn’t it be aningless even if you created a new ID?]
"Sister Orb is right. We just can’t let others know he is still alive, but he also has to accept that he can’t talk to anyone else about it," Roan comnted.
Celis thought of sothing. "What do all cultivators want? To go to higher-ranked Universes, right? How about we bring him with us to the next Universe? Then, we set him free and leave him with just a ssage, saying he is now in a Rank B, A, or whatever Universe. If he doesn’t want to be sent back to his own, he will have to pretend to not know anything. Do you think he would take the bait?"
’But that also ans we would need to make a new ID for him, and he would understand the gravity of this issue,’ Kentucky pointed out the problem. ’We would need to trust he will find the advantages good enough to never talk about it again. Would that happen? Besides, what if he has sothing he cares about back in his own Universe? Then he might imdiately go after the Werdlem Empire to report everything, hoping to be sent back. That’s just an example. There are many other reasons he could reveal himself.’
’Or...’ Suddenly, Tony spoke. Tony, Foliana’s Werdlem Stone’s sentience. ’You could simply keep him asleep here forever. Once you get to a point where it won’t matter anymore, you can let him go.’
Roan pondered for a second and accepted Tony’s idea. "It is a good thod. The idiot might call it cold, but it is better than risking letting our system’s existence be found."
’Sigh...’ Rean knew Roan had made up his mind. ’Alright, but I’ll give him a very good compensation once that day arrives.’
"So be it," Roan nodded.

With that resolved, Rean and Kentucky continued to use the Pseudo-Temporal Paths to reach the end of the Universe. Once they got there, they got a good surprise too. Turns out they didn’t need to leave the Universe to connect to the Werdlem Network. Here, near the border, the Werdlem Network Signal could reach, which was enough for them.
"Great! Sister Orb, it is up to you now!"
