Between many disappointed expressions, Rean walked away from there. He, too, looked sad that he ’lost’ a thousand Rank Thirteen Divine Stones. Of course, Kentucky was the greatest winner, taking the entire prize pool for himself. Kentucky and Rean will not tell them that.

On the other side of that sa facility, Roan looked over, noticing the commotion that had just happened in the distance. He knew Rean and Kentucky were there, shaking his head and deciding to ignore those two. Instead, he was just watching a few Elental Space Realm experts from so slightly bigger powers competing in an alchemy display.

There wasn’t any big prize involved, and no one there asked anyone to give up their selection slot, regardless of the results. That was more of a pride context to see which one of them had the best alchemist. Of course, nothing stopped the alchemists there from asking for such outcos if everyone agreed.

Since Roan was an alchemist himself, he paid close attention, especially to the equipnt they were using, rather than just the cauldron. ’That core temperature extractor is even better than the one I have in my workshop in the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm,’ Roan thought while observing with interest.

For this challenge, everyone there had decided on a pill ahead of ti, a type of ridian nding one. In the end, a girl called Duvveaa concocted the highest-level pill. As for how they decided who had the best pill, it was again an instrunt that asured the pill’s effect.

Roan looked at the description given by the equipnt, nodding. ’Not a bad piece of equipnt at all. It can truly analyse the pills to a profound level. Maybe I should get one for myself to check the results of my own concoctions.’

Roan saw Duvveaa returning to her companions, delighted that she had taken the victory for their continent. It was only the start, though. There was no lack of alchemists there, and everyone wanted to prove they had the advantage over the others.

Of course, Roan had no intention of competing against any of them. Even if the equipnt there was better than what he had, his experience and abilities would end any competition. That would be simply bullying, which he had no interest in.

However, he imdiately changed his mind when a group from a continental alliance called Klufux put up the next challenge. They brought their own equipnt and wouldn’t be using the equipnt in the area. Those around were angry that those guys were being unfair, but it didn’t last long.

That’s because there were others who didn’t lose to them in the quality of their own equipnt either. Since the Klufux Alliance wanted to show off their cards, why wouldn’t the others with similar resources do the sa?

Of course, Roan couldn’t care less about the alchemists, but he definitely took an interest in those pieces of equipnt. Before the next challenge started, he ca out of the crowd, going for one of the many alchemy booths available.

"Hey, you!" Lukis, an alchemist of the Rogan Empire, which was another power proud of its alchemists, called Roan out. "This is not a place for kids to play. You’d better get out."

Roan wasn’t surprised at all by that. His Runia Continent was indeed one of the weakest continents taking part in the selection, and it wasn’t allied with anyone, so big multicontinental powers would always look down on him. Besides, his Runia Continent wasn’t known for its alchemists either. Well, it wasn’t known by anything to be more specific. "As far as I can see, the alchemy challenges were open to anyone willing to participate."

"They are," Lukis confird. "But can’t you see who is taking part in this challenge? You are wasting your ti. Also, this challenge requires one to put up a down paynt of Divine Stones, and no less than Rank Twelve ones are accepted."

Roan closed his eyes for a mont, staying silent for a few seconds. Finally, he opened again, taking out his CD and adding his own Divine Stones to the mix. What did he do? He obviously told Kentucky to send the Divine Stones necessary for him. After all, Rean and Kentucky earned a considerable amount just an hour or so earlier. "How’s that now?"

Lukis didn’t expect Roan to have that kind of funds. "Who did you rob? Whatever. As long as you can pay, there is nothing wrong. You are losing Divine Stones for nothing, though. Do you think you can win here?"

Roan looked at Lukis’ equipnt, interested. "I have no interest in the Divine Stones. I only care about the rule where I can request sothing else of similar value to the prize. Your alchemy workshop equipnt looks pretty good, so I’ll ask for the sa thing in the end."

"Hahaha!" Lukis laughed out loud. "Now, that was funny. Sure, go ahead and give it a try. Just because no alchemist above the Space-Bending Realm is permitted in this next challenge, that doesn’t an we are at the sa level, you know?"

Roan nodded. "Indeed."

Roan and Lukis’ interaction actually wasn’t the only one. There were plenty of alchemists there trying to destabilize the competition around them before the next challenge even started. If anything, the fact that Roan ca from a small continent made his bickering with Lukis pretty invisible compared to the alchemists from big alchemy powers.

*Din!*

Suddenly, the alchemy asuring equipnt activated, and the guy in charge called everyone’s attention. "Alright, those who took a position and made the paynt will now receive the next challenge. If you haven’t, you will have to wait for the next one. Begin!"

As soon as he said that, a holographic image was projected with big letters, telling everyone looking at it what kind of item the challenge would require them to concoct.

’Hum?’ Roan narrowed his eyes. ’Ground Alignnt Dust?’

He had never heard of that recipe. Alchemy wasn’t all about pills. There were pastes, liquids, powders, and such. Dust was just the na, and Roan could tell it was so kind of powder. Fortunately, he could check the recipe in the terminal in his booth.

’So this is a powder that you spread on the ground, which gathers the Earth Elent in the area for a period of ti, based on how much you use. Although the Earth Elent gathered by the dust can be used for cultivation, this powder is actually used more in agriculture and rare herb gardens. Calling it so kind of fertilizer wouldn’t be too wrong.’

Roan quite liked the powder properties and was already interested in making so for his own garden in the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm. But then, he shook his head. He didn’t need this thing to gather the necessary Earth Elent. He already could do this by controlling the Dinsional Realm.

There was only one hour for him to make the powder, and the recipe in front of him was just the most basic one you could acquire. No doubt those around who knew about this powder would have their own recipes and would get much better results when analyzed by the equipnt later.

Lukis noticed Roan wasn’t doing anything, finding it funny. ’Could it be he doesn’t even know this?’

He was right, Roan didn’t, but that wouldn’t stop him.
