It was a normal day in the Cloco Divine Sect, which obviously used the na of the continent for convenience. The sect, as one of the five biggest powers here, had literally millions of disciples. It could be found on the south-east side of Cloco Divine Ocean, using a chain of hundreds of islands, mostly artificially created.
Today, the hundreds of elders and the sect master were in the eting hall, discussing a few issues they were having with the other powers surrounding the sect. It was a regular occurrence. Skirmishes happened pretty much daily, mostly against the Sea Demon Beasts, but sotis the Spirits as well.
That wasn’t a bad thing, though. As with any other cultivation powers, having a place where the disciples could develop their skills was a must, and what better place than a real battlefield? Even Roan wouldn’t think differently there.
A few hours passed as the elders discussed. They selected the next areas they should focus on, what missions should be prioritized, the finances of the sect, and so on.
Xuonka, a woman with a hybrid bloodline and the Sect Master, got up from her seat, ready to announce the end of the eting. "I reckon no one else has anything to discuss anymore. Shall we end this eting here?"
The elders in the hall nodded, none of them saying anything. With that, Xuonka nodded back and declared. "Then we shall -"
However, it was then that a voice echoed from the entrance of the hall. "Wait a mont!"
The door opened, and an old man, holding a cane, entered the room slowly. He was full of wrinkles, extrely skinny, and had dark spots everywhere, making one wonder how he was still alive. He truly looked to be holding onto his life by a thread. No one recognized him, though.
Xuonkan narrowed her eyes. The eting hall was highly protected, and no one would be able to reach it during the eting without her knowing ahead of ti. At the very least, the disciples should have entered the room to announce the man’s arrival. "Who the hell are you?"
The old man, trembling nonstop, looked at her with a gentle smile. "I’m happy you asked. My na is Cleatio, a wandering cultivator who seldom shows myself to the world. I ca to your sect because there is sothing I need your help to find in this Cloco Divine Ocean. There is a certain little turtle that ran away from that is quite hard to detect, and this ocean is too big for old to look for it alone. Of course, I intend to make your ti worthwhile."
Xuonka’s cultivation was released, a Celestial Realm pressure at the Initial Stage, assaulting the old man. "What about I help you spill out everything you know, and then I take this turtle for myself? For you to make your way to this place without being detected ans you have quite a few good things on you, right? Still, this is my sect, and no one can just appear unannounced like that."
Cleatio’s smile didn’t diminish, as if he wasn’t feeling Xuonka’s Divine Energy pressure at all. Then, he raised his hand, Fire Elent and Divine Origin Enegy began to circulate, but before he could do anything...
"Stop it, Xuonka!" another voice echoed in the room.
*Zush!*
Then, another man appeared, his expression grave.
"M-Master!" Xuonka imdiately kneeled down. She was the Cloco Divine Sect’s Master, but she wasn’t the one who really controlled it. Instead, the man who just appeared was the one behind everything, a Celestial in the Middle Stage called Glui. Glui was the sect’s ancestor, who stopped caring about the sect’s affairs a long ti ago, and rarely ever showed his face.
Glui sighed in relief, seeing that he prevented a catastrophe. "Girl, I told you many tis that you should control your temper. It had been so many years since anyone did anything to challenge you in this place that you almost got yourself killed just now."
Xuonka felt a chill on her back. Did she almost kill herself? Why? Because of that half-dead man called Cleatio? She couldn’t feel the least bit of danger coming from him. "P-Please enlighten , Master."
Glui nodded, then turned in Cleatio’s direction. "Senior, please forgive my disciple. She is very talented, reaching the Celestial Realm faster than anyone else before her. It’s just that it made her a little bit too overconfident."
Cleatio... who are we fooling here? That was obviously Rean! He just assud a completely different appearance and created a new Werdlem ID with the system. To make sure he wouldn’t be found, he wouldn’t show that ID to anyone, though. "This friend is being too polite. It isn’t all that bad for the youngsters to have a little bit of confidence, especially in a position like hers. It’s quite cute, actually. Hahaha!"
Xuonka’s anger built up inside her. She felt disgust from being called cute by that old bag of bones. Of course, seeing how her own master was acting so carefully around Cleatio, she didn’t dare to show it on her face.
Cleatio then resud the original topic. "Alright, I don’t intend to take much of your ti. Who should I talk to acquire the help of your Cloco Divine Sect?"
Of course, even though Glui was being careful, that didn’t an he would simply accept anything Rean was asking of him. "Usually, I leave everything up to my inexperienced disciple. But in this case, you can bring your request to instead. Senior, could you at least tell us what this is all about? Depending on your request, we might have to decline the help."
As he said that, he contacted the Formations Masters of the sect, preparing to activate all of them in case Rean decided to make a move.
Rean found it funny. Sister Orb obviously told him about the formations ready to assault. She could take control anyti she wanted. That wasn’t necessary, though. They are here to make ’friends,’ after all.
Rean took out a Spatial Ring, throwing to Glui.
Glui found it strange, but he checked the contents inside the ring. At that mont, his expression changed completely. "T-This! Is this...?!"
Rean nodded slightly. "It sure is. I believe I don’t need to explain very much why I want that little turtle, now do I? I won’t need your sect’s help for more than a hundred years, so this paynt should suffice."
Glui smiled from ear to ear, nodding vigorously and putting the Spatial Ring away. "But of course!" He turned to Xuonka right after. "Help him, employ the entire sect’s power if necessary. As long as he doesn’t try to start a war with the other powers, whatever he says goes. Do you understand?"
Xuonka was taken aback, and so were all the other elders present. Just what could be so good that Glui committed the entire sect’s power to help the old bag of bones for a hundred years? They had millions of disciples! Of course, Xuonka did not complain. "Yes, Master. It shall be as you said."
Glui nodded with a satisfied expression. As for the contents inside the Spatial Ring, there was only a single stone. It was sothing Rean got from Drofei back in the Werdlem Universe, just a few... The ring had a Celestial Energy Stone inside! Sothing you could only acquire in the Celestial Plane!
