Mamato and the other Abyssal Beasts felt it when Sister Orb acted. All their seals disappeared, which had to be done. After all, the Werdlem Empire was supposed to be able to kill them through those seals. Fortunately, they were inside the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm, and it was completely locked. So, even if the Werdlem Empire tried, they wouldn’t be able to activate the seals without the Abyssal Beasts stepping out of the Dinsional Realm.
Aby watched all of that, nodding with his puppet head. "Alright, that makes you all free from the Werdlem Empire’s control. The only question is the Abyssal Beasts that were not at ho or were out on missions when we acted."
Norogal sighed in response. "We want to rescue them, too. But we don’t even know where to start."
Rean and the others approached. "That’s sothing you will have to do on your own. It might sound cold, but we truly can’t afford to go after the Abyssal Beasts that were left behind. It is up to you whether to wether stay here or go away."
Rean quickly changed the topic. "By the way, how do you all feel about finally seeing Huver, the so-called God of Terrible Choices?"
"God of... Terrible Choices?" Norogal and the rest were confused.
Aby... or Huver... glared at Rean. "Shut up! That has nothing to do with you!"
"Hahaha!" Rean laughed out loud. That definitely lightened the mood. "Well, you have no other choice anymore. You have to help them."
Norogal was still confused, but he spoke. "I’m not sure what you ant by Terrible Choices, but to see Huver himself was truly a shock. We didn’t even believe Huver existed. Senior Huver... or Aby, right? Seems like that’s your na now. You are our senior, so it would be good if you also beco an elder of our race so we can think about the next steps together."
"Forget the na Aby. That’s sothing the idiot with white hair ca up with," Aby explained... Huver actually. "Just call Huver from now on."
Norogal and the others didn’t mind. "Understood, Senior Huver."
Mamato took that chance to ask. "Senior Huver, your presence is too important for us. Lackira said you would liberate us, and that really happened. However, I understand we are still not safe. Please, take my body. That’s what you wanted before, right? You will be able to help us a lot more with a real Abyssal Beast body than a puppet that requires recharging now and then."
Rean and the rest of the twins’ group looked at Huver. "Are you sure you are a mber of the sa race as them?"
Huver wanted to cry already. "Fuck you! Yes, I’m still selfish! I’m just bound by that fucking bet! That’s all!"
He turned to Mamato. "You should be more selfish, too! Who the hell would willingly give up their own body? What’s wrong with you?!"
"Senior Huver, what about mine?"
Another Abyssal beast stepped forward.
"No, mine!" And another.
"I have higher cultivation. Senior Huver will be much better off with my body instead!" And another...
Huver wanted nothing more than to kill those Abyssal Beasts instead. "Did you hear anything I said?! What the fuck did Lackira do to your minds?! Enough with the body talk! Now I don’t feel like getting a new body at all!!!"
Finally, he made a decision. "Rean, can you provide us with those bracelets of yours? Otherwise, they won’t be able to use the Werldlem Empire’s Cultivation Energies."
"Oh, right!" Rean didn’t mind, waving his hand and making hundreds of those bracelets appear. He took out way more than there were Abyssal Beasts there at the mont. "Here, each one of you can have two bracelets. The Werdlem Energy Signature on the Werdlem Stones in the Bracelets will take over. That way, you will all have different identities in the Werdlem Network. Naturally, you will be able to cultivate even if your original signatures have been blocked."
Kentucky was curious. "Without the system, is it okay to give away so many of those?"
Rean shrugged. "Roan is annoying about being prepared for everything, including these bracelets. I have literally made tens of thousands of them. It’s just that I can’t make new ones anymore."
These bracelets, as well as the Werdlem Energy Signatures that the twins constantly changed, were all done with the system’s help. The processing power was completely necessary for it. Without the Control Orb, making new identities was out of the question now. Nonetheless, with those many bracelets with Werdlem Stones prepared ahead of ti, there was no need for the system at the mont.
"So that’s how it is..." Kentucky didn’t complain anymore.
All the Abyssal Beasts placed the bracelets, only one each, which automatically resized themselves to fit perfectly and disappeared once attached. It was as if they didn’t even exist when you looked at the beasts. The second one, they obviously kept for the future if necessary.
"Alright, what now?" Rean asked Huver.
"That depends. What do you want to do?" Huver asked back.
"Hum..." Rean looked at Roan. "Now that we lost the Control Orb, is it okay to talk about it?"
Roan didn’t seem to care. "It doesn’t exist anymore, so it makes no difference."
"Very well," Rean nodded and pulled Huver away. He was going to explain everything to him first. Let’s not forget that Huver knew nothing about the system until now. Rean organized all the information in his head and sent it to Huver through a Divine Sense ssage.
Huver took a while to organize the information as well, but once done, he was quite shocked by all that developnt. "That’s ridiculous! Was this system of yours truly that overpowered? No, forget it. After everything I’ve seen, I guess only sothing that extraordinary would make any sense."
Rean went back to the main topic. "So, the plan now is to use the Primordial Beasts to break the Werdlem Empire’s Bubble. So, you asked what we intended to do now, didn’t you? That’s what."
Huver thought for a mont, looking at the Abyssal Beasts further away. "This fucking bet... Alright, I’ll get Norogal to stay with you here, just in case you need to build an Abyssal Path for whatever reason. However, I’ll lead the rest away to a safer place. Considering what you intend to do, I’d rather stay as far as possible."
"That’s a sound suggestion." Rean couldn’t tell whether everything would work out or not, after all. Huver and the others would have a better chance if they stayed away. "Very well. Just let know when you want to release you all."
