Default narrowed his eyes while the other Primordial Beasts felt terrified.
Still, Default found it hard to believe. "I won’t deny the possibility exists. However, if that was truly the case, The Echo wouldn’t have stopped as soon as I asked it to do so. If anything, it would try to take you all down."
"Like I said, the Werdlem Empire probably doesn’t have full control over it," Roan explained. "It still answers to you. Of course, I know there is no proof. Maybe I’m thinking too much."
Default pondered about Roan’s conjecture about The Echo. "There is one way to confirm it. You guys ntioned that since The Echo was being controlled, it was used to bring us, the twelve Primordial Beasts, to the Werdlem Empire. If you are right, then we should simply leave the Empire."
"If The Echo tries to stop us from carrying on the Bubble Bursting Plan, then I will accept that the Empire has got so control over it, even if not fully. After all, if it were full control, there would be no need for all of this. The Werdlem Empire could simply command it to destroy us all, regardless of where we are."
"I see..." Roan nodded. "It seems like we went full circle then. We need to get to the next step of the plan. The question here is how to leave the Werdlem Universe. We can’t use Celestial Points anymore, and the Relay Nodes require them."
Nyxara raised her hand. "There is no need to worry about that. I also have my own Great Void Movent Skill, rember?"
They looked at her. "But it is limited, isn’t it? You can only go so far with that skill of yours because you lost most of your power."
Nyxara confird, and the seal smiled. "You are correct. That’s why I prepared a mark ahead of ti."
"Ah!" Rean suddenly rembered sothing. "That day when you asked Sister Orb to let your senses go out of the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm..."
"Aren’t you a smart boy? Hahaha!" Nyxara laughed.
Turns out that while Rean was pretending to be a crew mber of the Great Void Spaceship, Nyxara kept an eye on their journey. As ntioned before, the Great Void rchant Spaceship they were travelling on had to co out of its Spatial Tunnel from ti to ti.
When they got close to the Werdlem Empire, Nyxara asked Sister Orb to allow her senses to co out of the Dinsional Realm. At that ti, Rean thought she wanted to check the outside, as the others often did. Turns out that when the Ship made the last stop before arriving in the Werdlem Universe, she left one of her marks behind in the Great Void.
It wasn’t as good as the Abyssal Paths, let alone the Relay Nodes of the system. Nonetheless, it was close enough for her to bring them all out of the Werdlem Empire. Once out in the Great Void, Nyxara would be the best option again to travel to one of the A-ranked universes. Well, to travel to A1, actually. That was the only A-Ranked Universe that kept an Abyssal Path Intact in Roan’s list.
"That’s good and all," Kentucky spoke. "But wouldn’t it simply be better to ask Norogal to open the Abyssal Path? We didn’t make all of them collapse, after all."
Roan shook his head in response. "Did you forget? All the Abyssal Paths in the Werdlem Universe that connect to other Universes can only be found in the Starway."
"Check the list I gave you. The paths I had the Abyssal Beasts destroy also included all the Abyssal Paths of the Werdlem Universe. There isn’t supposed to be anyone left, including those connecting to the Abyssal Beasts’ Ho. It was necessary so we could impede the Werdlem Empire’s Experts from using any remaining Abyssal Path to follow us."
Kentucky did as Roan said, and sure enough, Norogal used the Abyssal Key Treasure to make all the Abyssal Paths of the Werdlem Universe collapse. "I see..."
Nyxara was ready to move. "Alright. There is no point in dwelling here anymore. Shall we go?"
Default looked at Dofrei. "This is still your ho, no? All your disciples are also from the Werdlem Universe or the Empire. You are my disciple, but you aren’t a Primordial Demon Beast. No one knows you were involved in everything that happened, either. You can stay if you want."
Dofrei refused pretty much instantly. "I’m absolutely not staying behind. If not for the fucking Bubble, I would have left the Werdlem Empire a long ti ago."
"What about your disciples?" Kentucky asked.
Dofrei thought for a mont. "Give an hour. I’m going to talk to them. Those who want to follow will be brought inside my Pocket Dinsional Realm. Those who want to stay will simply be left behind."
The twins’ group didn’t mind. With all the Abyssal Paths collapsed in the Werdlem Empire, just getting to the Congral Region would take quite so ti.
As Dofrei talked to his disciples, Rean received a visit from Havira. "Oh! Seems like you stabilized your cultivation pretty well. Hey, isn’t that Klifon?! Long ti no see!"
Klifon was also a Three-Legged Golden Crow, although he pretended to be a Sun Urpin back then when the Roan created a Cultivation Technique for him. Ultimately, Klifon was helped by the twins and got his mother, Havira, free. "I’ve seen you guys many tis, but I was busy cultivating inside Mother’s Pocket Dinsional Realm and couldn’t co out before."
Rean smiled, checking his cultivation. "After these thousands of years, your cultivation has truly improved a lot. Already in the Space-Ti Realm, uh? Well, you are a Golden Crow, after all. Not to ntion, you have the Cultivation Technique Roan made for you."
"You two can reminisce another ti," Havira cut in, and she looked to be in quite a bad mood. "Why did you leave behind? I know our deal was complete, but you could have asked if you needed my help, you know? I might be only an Initial Stage Celestial, but there are many things I could still do."
Rean scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, sorry. It’s just that we couldn’t wait for you to get used to your cultivation. Besides, it was a good thing for you to stay. You beca one of Dofrei’s disciples, and I can see that you gained a lot from it. We wouldn’t have had the ti to help you like he did."
"Sigh..." Havira couldn’t refute that. "Fine. But next ti, at least wait so I can bid farewell. By the way, I heard about it. You guys are leaving, right? I’m going to join Master Dofrei, and my son is obviously coming with ."
"That’s good." Rean had no reason to stop her. "Dofrei is an excellent master, so make sure you don’t disappoint him."
"Obviously," Havira agreed.
Sowhere else in the Celestial Soul Dinsional Realm, Roan was talking to Cloe.
"So... this System of yours was the reason for your power, uh? Well, you are the type who trains to the point of dying, so the system definitely wasn’t the only reason." Now that the system was gone, there wasn’t much of a reason to hide it from her.
Roan nodded. "Yes. We are now going to try to destroy the Werdlem Empire’s Bubble. You have a few of the bracelets from Rean, so your cultivation won’t be blocked. If you think it is not worth the risk of following us into this, I can simply let you go now. You already helped us plenty."
Cloe refused straightaway. "Where is the fun in that? Besides, just the idea of not having to worry about Werdlem Stones anymore is more than enough for to want to get the hell out of the Werdlem Empire. I’m coming too."
Roan expected as much. "Very well. Stay inside our Dinsional Realm for now. If there is a need, I’ll bring you out. Just be aware that a situation where I need you would likely be a dangerous one."
"I’m counting on it," Cloe said, licking her lips.
