Tears fell from the two won as they looked at the man in front of them. After everything he said, how could they not know who he was? "Rean!"
The two threw themselves into his embrace... or so it was supposed to be the case.
*Bang! Bang!*
The two girls actually kicked him with everything they had!
*Crash!*
Rean slamd into several pieces of equipnt before finally caving into a wall not too far away. He couldn’t help but bitterly smile. Sohow, he knew that would happen. "I guess that’s what we call tough love..."
Well, let’s be honest, with Rean’s cultivation, even if the two girls beat him a hundred tis over, there isn’t really any risk of Rean dying or getting any serious injury.
The Formations Masters around obviously knew who Rean was, and to see him in person... They knew Rean wasn’t dead, thanks to Soul Gem. They hadn’t thought they would see him again, though. However, they did not intervene. Instead, they all began to make their way out. There is no way they will get in Qia and Fay’s way.
Rean ca out of the wall, expecting the two girls to continue, but to his surprise, this ti, they truly threw themselves into his embrace. "Idiot! Why did you take so long?!"
"Hahaha!" Rean laughed in response. "I an, I didn’t really have a choice in the matter, now did I? If the Universe had fallen to the Garisan Empire, everyone inside would be done for, including you two. In any case, I didn’t really die. Hick saved Roan and and brought us to the Werdlem Empire."
Rean sighed after that. "In the end, that was the right thing to do."
Qia looked at Rean, tears still falling. "You-You did ntion sothing about the Werdlem Empire taking control over the entire Great Void?"
Rean patted the girls’ heads as he nodded. Then, he organized his thoughts and told them everything that happened with a Divine Sense ssage.
So ti later, Qia nd Fay cald down, thinking about everything Rean had gone through. Obviously, they had a lot to talk about after this.

Sowhere else, Calina was cultivating quietly in a chamber deep below the ground. Different from Qia and Fay, she put a lot more effort into cultivation, and that helped her reach the Late Stage of the Divinity Realm.
Of course, that was possible because of her connection with Roan and the Soul Gem Dinsional Realm. Let’s not forget that the Soul Gem Dinsional Realm stayed behind in Lisan, and it gave direct access to the Chaos Origin Source. She could use that place as many tis as she wanted. The underground chamber she found herself in at the mont was exactly inside the Dinsional Realm.
Suddenly, the formation that kept her isolated in the chamber was turned off, making the girl narrow her eyes. Her voice quickly echoed in and out of the area. "It is still not ti. I told you all to only call after a hundred years. I’m in a critical juncture here, you know?"
"Good." At that mont, a black-haired man entered the chamber, and Qia couldn’t even see how he got there as he didn’t appear in her Divine Sense. "In that case, you’d better use these Divine Stones here. Their level is even higher than what the Chaos Origin Source can provide you. It is good to see you haven’t slacked off."
For Calina, it was completely different. The man in front of her was definitely different from the Roan she knew. And yet, she was certain from the mont her eyes saw his figure. "Roan!"
Roan nodded slightly. "Sorry it took so long. I did give Soul Gem and Hick a good beating for what they caused us, though. You will like to see Soul Gem’s state if you go there now."
*Hug!*
She didn’t care about any Soul Gem. She completely forgot about her cultivation. She only wanted to hug him. She didn’t try to kick him, though. That’s Roan we are talking about. He would definitely defend himself, and that was the Roan she loved. "You’re late!"
Roan showed a rare, warming smile. "I am, but I do not regret anything." Then, his expression turned serious. "It was thanks to everything that happened that I can say now that I can keep you safe."
Calina saw his reaction, curiously asking. "What happened?"
Roan did the sa thing as Rean, organizing his thoughts and telling Calina absolutely everything from the mont he appeared in the Werdlem Empire to the mont he got here.
Calina took a while to put all that information in the right places, but the more she did it, the more shocked she felt. "They were going to take control over the Great Void! That’s crazy! And yet, these Arbiters you ntioned... their existence seems to be far above that!"
Roan knew all that. "In any case, I’m finally back. What about my idiot son? I’ll make sure to put him in his place if he is still slacking off."
At that mont, Calina’s expression turned sad. "He... isn’t with us anymore."
Roan’s eyebrow raised a little. "Is he...?"
"Yes," Calina confird. "No one killed him, mind you. He simply reached the end of his lifespan. He never managed to reach the Space-Ti Realm. It has been a few thousand years already."
"Sigh..." Roan couldn’t say he was surprised. It doesn’t matter how good your cultivation environnt is. If the cultivator himself doesn’t want to improve, no miracle can be done. "Alen was an idiot to the very end, it seems. Did you try to brand his soul so he could rember his past life after reincarnation?"
"No," Calina shook her head in response. "I wanted to near the end, but he refused. He told he was happy with the life he had, and he didn’t want to start everything again. I respected his wishes."
But then, Calina waved her hand, controlling the Spatial Powers in the area. In the next mont, a young man appeared in her room, puzzled to have been brought there like that. When he saw Calina, he finally understood. "A-Ah! Gr-Grandmother! Is there anything you need from ?"
"Grand...mother?" Roan narrowed his eyes. Then, he approached, seemingly analysing the young man from top to bottom. "Great foundation, ridians are very clean, fourth grade of the starlight body, Space-Bending Realm... You sure put a lot of effort, kid."
Calina smiled. "Little Aken, this is my husband, also your grandfather, Roan."
