Gootiu and the others looked at Rean and Roan as if they had lost their minds. "Have you not seen them fighting? Even if they are only Godly Spawns, you won’t be able to fight more than one, and that’s with the help of the arrays below."

"Arrays?" Rean looked back, a smile on his face. "Sorry to disappoint you, but the arrays’ effects don’t get here where we are. They are all focused on the frontlines. That said, those in charge believe we are more than enough to deal with the Godly Creatures that the frontlines purposely let by as we are at the mont."

Those words surprised the new ascenders even more. How did Rean know that?

"Forget them," Roan cut in. "Here they co."

Roan arced forward and circulated his Sky Celestial Energy on his legs. Then, the Red Lightning followed, also contained inside him.

’Red Life, Enhacent!’

’Red Death, Third Movent Form, Crimson Lightning!’

They might not be able to bring their Celestial Energy outside their bodies, but they certainly can control it inside, even if they are being restricted!

*Zush! Zush!*

Rean and Roan shot forward, arriving between their Godly Creatures.

’Red Death, Death Cross!’

’Red Life, Lightning Slash!’

Well, though Rean and Roan tried to use their skills, they could only circulate the Energy and Elents inside their bodies... and their Intent Weapons! An Intent Weapon isn’t like a normal weapon. It is created with the cultivator’s own Intent, so it is considered part of one’s body. The only thing was that the twins still couldn’t make their energy fly out of their weapons. Nonetheless, the fact that they could fill them with their Light, Dark, and Red Lightning was more than enough!

*Roar!*

The five Godly Creatures of both sides pounced at the twins, but Rean and Roan’s attacks were already flying in their direction much faster. Rean and Roan’s sudden charge took them by surprise, which gave the twins an oppening.

*Swish, swish!*

The first two Godly Creatures were cut from one side to another... or so one would expect.

"So tough..."

Roan said, the two Crystal Scythes in his hands, failing to go through the Godly Spawn. It didn’t an the creature survived, though. Roan’s Scythe still cut deep inside, destroying the Godly Spawn’s vital organs.

*Zup!*

*Bang, bang, bang, bang!*

On Rean’s side, he imdiately jumped out of the way just before the remaining four Godly Spawns could hit him. Rean, too, failed to cut through the Godly Creature’s body, although he also killed it. "I didn’t hold back here, and still, I only barely managed to kill it."

Now that Rean and Roan showed their real strength, the Godly Creatures instantly got more careful. Any creature would, even without intelligence. The twins would need to find other openings.

Rean rotated his body and began to run on the sides, forcing those four Godly Creatures to co after him. The creatures indeed had no intelligence. Rean’s movents caused them to get in each other’s way.

Back at Roan, he understood Rean’s actions and began to run as well. The two eventually t a few tens of ters later. Scythes and Swords flew as the two groups of four Godly Spawns once again slamd into each other.

One of the Godly Spawns was launched into the air, and Roan’s eyes lit up.

’Red Death, Crimson Soaring Dragon!’

His Sky Celestial Energy and Red Lighting burst in his legs, propelling his body upwards like a rocket! The belly of that Godly Creature was exposed for a mont, a mont that Roan didn’t let pass.

*Swish!*

Both Crystal Void Scythes struck one after the other at the sa point, the second cut widening the first. The heart of the Godly Spawn was cut through by the second strike as Roan passed by it.

Below, one of the Godly Spawn had recovered its balance and also jumped at Roan as soon as Roan used the Crimson Soaring Dragon. Roan didn’t mind, though.

’Red Death, Crimson Stellar Piercer!’

Rean hid himself in the chaos, and when the Godly Spawn jumped after Roan, it revealed another opening. Rean’s Crimson Stellar Piercer struck from below the neck, going through the brain and hitting the Godly Crystal in the Godly Spawn’s brain.

Rean didn’t wait to see it falling dead, though. He used the montum to kick the Godly Spawn, launching himself out of there.

*Bang, bang, bang!*

Another three Godly Spawns slamd into the one that Rean just attacked, their mouth ripping parts of the now dead creature. Their target wasn’t the creature, of course. It was Rean, who once again got away.

*Tud!*

Roan landed on the ground a few ters away, and Rean joined his side. So far, they have killed four of the ten Godly Spawns. "The restrictions on our energy are truly annoying as fuck. We need to get to the Anchor God Realm as soon as possible."

"Don’t be so certain. We are fighting Level One Godly Creatures, Godly Spawns. At the Anchor God Realm, it wouldn’t make sense to fight these guys anymore. We would need to challenge Level Two Godly Creatures, Godly Beasts. Anyway, we can think about it later," Roan said. "Let’s keep going."

The two moved away from each other, attracting three Godly Spawns each.

As all that happened, the platoon the twins were part of looked at that with wide-open eyes. What Rean and Roan were doing didn’t look like anything hard compared to what they could do back in their Ho Great Voids, but here... The others looked at Gootiu and Clayton, as they were with Rean and Roan initially. "Are they truly Celestial Realm Experts? How can they use Crystal Void Intent Weapons?"

Clayton swallowed hard. "They are... and I have no idea how they can use Intent Weapons at that Realm. All I know is that both of them have no Aptitude Color."

Gootiu found it ridiculous. "If that’s what it ans to have no Aptitude Color, then I don’t want to see what a Golden Aptitude can do." He himself was only a Gray Color.

"Fuck!" One of them lost his patience. "I’m not going to sit here and watch them take all the spoils. If this is truly a test like they said, then I’ll make sure to show what I can do."

Seeing Rean and Roan actually gave everyone a lot of confidence. The new ascenders were all Peak Stage Celestials, just like the twins. If the twins can do it, so can they.

*Swish!*

*Puft!*

Roan’s Scythe cut a leg of one of the creatures, making it fall. At the sa ti, Rean’s Sword pierced through the eye of another, but it reacted the mont Rean did that and turned its head, which protected its brain.

The other Godly Spawns used those openings on pure instinct, but Rean and Roan wouldn’t fall for that with their experiences. Yet, before they moved again, they saw the rest of their platoon charging at the creatures from both sides. "To think we couldn’t finish even half of the Godly Spawns before these guys jumped in..."

Neither Rean nor Roan was unhappy, though. They went all out, but the Godly Creatures were just that strong. For them, it was what they needed if they wanted to improve. "Anyway, let’s join them and finish the rest."
