It was Sera and Althea's turn to train. Both were elite assassins, with Sera, known for her deadly precision, being the strongest, and Althea, swift and resourceful, the second strongest. They stood across from each other, each holding a pair of daggers. Both won were Darkness elent users, shrouded in a faint aura of shadow that seed to ripple around them. This promised to be a duel of silent speed and deadly precision.

Gracier and the others gathered along the edge of the training ground, eager for the show. Soone had even brought popcorn, and they passed it around as they settled in to watch the sparring match unfold.

Sera's eyes narrowed, her stance low and predatory, while Althea stood poised and ready, a slight smirk playing on her lips. They moved at the sa mont, vanishing into wisps of darkness as they blurred forward, nearly too fast for the eye to follow. In the blink of an eye, they clashed in the center of the field, daggers flashing and striking with rapid, precise movents.

Althea launched into a flurry of attacks, her daggers slicing through the air as she aid to break Sera's defense. Sera blocked each blow effortlessly, her movents calm and economical, never wasting a single motion. Shadows swirled around her, and with a flick of her wrist, she sent a dark wave toward Althea, forcing her to leap back to avoid being consud by the darkness.

The spectators leaned in, completely engrossed. Althea barely avoided the attack, rolling to the side and disappearing briefly into her own shadow before reappearing behind Sera. She struck with a quick, precise slice aid at Sera's shoulder, but Sera anticipated the move. She spun gracefully, deflecting Althea's strike and responding with a swift counter aid at Althea's ribs.

Althea barely dodged, feeling the cold steel brush against her armor. She smirked, impressed but undeterred. "Not bad, Sera. You're as sharp as ever," she said, voice light but eyes intense.

Sera's lips curved into a rare smile. "Let's see if you can keep up, Althea."

With that, Sera lted into the shadows, vanishing from sight. Althea's eyes flickered, her senses heightened as she scanned the darkness, trying to anticipate Sera's next move. A heartbeat later, Sera erged from the shadows directly in front of her, striking with deadly speed. Althea parried just in ti, their daggers clashing with a resonant clang.

They continued in a blur of movent, shadows swirling around them as they exchanged strike after strike, each move swift, calculated, and deadly. Their Darkness powers amplified their agility, allowing them to phase in and out of shadows as they moved, making it nearly impossible to track their exact positions. Every strike and counterstrike was a dance, honed from years of training.

Gracier and the others watched with wide eyes, riveted. They cheered as Althea dodged a particularly fierce strike, and gasped when Sera nearly landed a blow to her side. The match was fierce, and it was clear neither was holding back.

Finally, as they reached the peak of their battle, Sera took a daring risk. She rged with the shadows once more, and Althea, already on edge, tensed, anticipating her next move. In an instant, Sera appeared behind her, and before Althea could react, she felt the cold edge of Sera's dagger pressing lightly against her neck.

"Yield?" Sera whispered, her voice a mix of calm and challenge.

Althea smirked, raising her hands in mock surrender. "Alright, you've got —this ti."

The two assassins relaxed, stepping back as the tension dissipated. Gracier and the others erupted into applause, throwing complints and clapping for the incredible display of skill. Sera gave a subtle nod in thanks, while Althea grinned, wiping the sweat from her brow.

"Next ti, it'll be different," Althea promised, a playful glint in her eyes.

"Looking forward to it," Sera replied smoothly.

With the match concluded, the two won joined the group, laughter and camaraderie filling the training grounds as they settled in to watch the next round of training.

After their intense sparring matches, the four girls made their way to the fortress's bathing area. The warm steam filled the air, welcoming them as they stepped into the large, stone-lined bath. Gracier, Saeko, Sera, and Althea slipped into the soothing waters, sighing in relief as the heat seeped into their muscles, easing away the tension from their training.

The bath was spacious, with a cascading waterfall feature in one corner and soft lighting that made the room feel peaceful and secluded. Gracier leaned back, closing her eyes as she let the warmth wash over her. "This is perfect," she murmured.

"Agreed," Saeko replied, stretching her arms. "After that match, I think my muscles would have mutinied without this."

Althea chuckled. "You were impressive out there. I thought I was fast, but I could barely keep up."

Sera gave a rare smile, dipping her hands into the water. "You're just as quick, Althea. I had to stay sharp with you around."

They laughed, the atmosphere relaxing as they let the weight of the day slip away. After a while, they moved to the sauna, where the air was thick with warmth and a subtle aroma of herbs. They settled on the wooden benches, leaning back and enjoying the intense, dry heat.

"So," Gracier said with a grin, "who's up for sparring tomorrow? I know a few people are excited to test themselves."

Saeko nodded, looking thoughtful. "I think Rina was hoping for a match. She's been training hard."

"And Leon," Sera added. "He's been working on his swordsmanship. I'd like to see how he's progressed."

They exchanged ideas for tomorrow's matches, laughter and friendly banter filling the air. The girls felt a deep sense of camaraderie, knowing each would push the other to grow and improve. The fortress might have been their training ground, but monts like these—sharing stories, challenges, and dreams—reminded them that they were more than just warriors. They were friends, bound by the experiences they shared.

When they finally left the sauna, they felt rejuvenated, ready for whatever tomorrow's sparring sessions would bring. With a final laugh, they headed off to rest, eager for the new challenges that awaited.
