Her heart skipped a beat, and she called out to her, "Yaer?"
Yue Yaer acted as if she hadn’t heard, still walking in the direction of the garage.
Ye Xingbei felt sothing was off about Yue Yaer’s deanor, fearing sothing might happen, and hurriedly pursued her, calling out repeatedly, "Yaer? Yaer?"
Yue Yaer finally heard and stopped to look back at her. The almost frightening expression on her face montarily beca oblivious before returning to a normal one, "Beibei, did you call ?"
"Yes," Ye Xingbei jogged up to her, "Yaer, where are you going? I think sothing’s not right with you. Has sothing happened?"
"Not right?" Yue Yaer paused, touched her face, "Nothing... nothing happened. It’s just that the bodyguard monitoring Jii Chunjue called , saying Jii Chunjue might soon be dying. I want to see him before he passes away."
Upon receiving the bodyguard’s call, she felt as if she was enveloped in a cloud of fog.

She had to tell Jii Chunjue before he died why he would et his end, to let him die with clarity, regretful of the cris he had committed.
"I see..." Ye Xingbei hesitated for a mont, "Then let accompany you there? I just happen to have so business to attend to outside as well."
She observed that Yue Yaer’s emotions were quite out of sync.
She feared that if Yue Yaer t Jii Chunjue, she might act impulsively and make a mistake.
Jii Chunjue was about to die, so if Yue Yaer, driven by her hatred, couldn’t control herself and kicked him to death, it would be troubleso.
Impulse is a devil, once a person acts on impulse, they can do all sorts of irrational things.
If Jii Chunjue were indeed kicked to death by Yue Yaer, when the police collected Jii Chunjue’s body, would they consider it a natural death or bla Yue Yaer for kicking him to death?
She didn’t want Yue Yaer to get into unnecessary trouble.
"Alright!" Yue Yaer agreed without hesitation.
From the mont she received the call, she had felt a severe sense of unreality.
It was as if she were walking in a dense fog, with no ground to stand on or sky to reach.
Having soone she could trust accompany her was the best outco.
"But, will it delay your affairs, Beibei?" After chatting a little with Ye Xingbei, she finally felt herself being pulled out of the fog into reality and could think normally again.
"It won’t," Ye Xingbei shook her head, "I just wanted to accompany my Second Brother to buy so gifts for his fiancée. I’ll give him a call and postpone it a bit."
Yue Yaer nodded.
The two got into the car.
In the car, Ye Xingbei inford Xie Jinfei that she had sothing to attend to and would et him later.
Xie Jinfei readily agreed.
The car sped along the road, finally stopping next to a broken bridge on the outskirts.
Ye Xingbei got out, looked at the dirty and shabby environnt on the roadside, and tilted her head to ask Yue Yaer, "Has Jii Chunjue been operating around here recently?"
"Yes." Yue Yaer nodded.
