She earnestly assured Yun Jue, "The food freshly made is definitely tastier than the one that’s been sitting in a food box for a while, and many dishes we have at the hotel are half-cold by the ti they reach our dining room, which greatly affects the flavor. Most dishes are best when freshly cooked."

"Makes sense, makes sense!" Yun Jue nodded repeatedly, looking at Ye Xingbei, "Aunt, can we let... let..."

He pointed at Muu Qingwan, got stuck halfway through.

"My na is Muu Qingwan," Muu Qingwan quickly introduced herself, "If my benefactor doesn’t mind, you can just call Wanwan."

"Benefactor?" Yun Jue was glad he’d already swallowed what was in his mouth, or he would have spat it out.

He awkwardly waved his hand, "Please don’t call your benefactor, that’s too shocking! You can just call Yun Jue or Ah Jue, both are fine!"

"Okay," Muu Qingwan smiled shyly, "Then I’ll call you Ah Jue. What kind of dishes do you like? I’ll cook for you."

"Too many!" Yun Jue rattled off a dozen dishes in one breath, "I love all these dishes! Of course, if you can make so specialties I’ve never tried, I’m sure I’ll love those too! Basically, as long as it’s tasty, I love it. But compared to salty dishes, I have more of a preference for sweet and spicy dishes, especially spicy ones!"

"Then I’ll make sweet dishes for you first," Muu Qingwan said, "You’re injured now, so you can’t eat spicy food. Once you’re healed, I’ll make sothing spicy for you."

Yun Jue nodded repeatedly again.

As long as there’s good food, anything can be negotiated!

Muu Qingwan looked at Gu Junzhu and Ye Xingbei, "What do you like to eat?"

"No need for formalities, it sounds awkward," Ye Xingbei said with a bright smile, "I am Ye Xingbei, you can call Beibei."

"Wouldn’t that be disrespectful?" Muu Qingwan said, "You’re the aunt of my savior. If you don’t mind, can I follow my benefactor in calling you Auntie?"

Ye Xingbei: "..."

Can I say I mind?

"It’s okay," Ye Xingbei said, "We seem to be about the sa age, you can just call Beibei."

"Yes, I think you look particularly young too," Muu Qingwan couldn’t contain her curiosity, "Are you twenty years old?"

Ye Xingbei laughed, "I’m twenty-one."

"I’m twenty," Muu Qingwan said, "I’m younger than you, so I’ll call you Auntie from now on."

Ye Xingbei: "..."

Only a year apart, sister.

You could even call sister and I’d accept it, why do you have to call Auntie?

"Auntie, what do you and Uncle like to eat?" Muu Qingwan glanced towards the kitchen, "That’s the kitchen, right, Auntie?"

Ye Xingbei: "..."

Sigh.

Forget it.

It’s not the first ti being called Auntie anyway.

Auntie it is then.

She gestured, "It’s over here, I’ll go with you."

The two of them entered the kitchen one after the other.

Each small building was equipped with a chef and a cook.

Muu Qingwan, familiar with the process, instructed the chef and cook to wash and cut the vegetables, while she swiftly took out various seasonings to prepare.

So dishes she didn’t allow the chef to cut; she cut them herself.

Her knife skills were so fast they left afterimages, and the shreds she cut were as fine as hair.

Ye Xingbei was astonished, "You, you’re amazing!"

"What?" Muu Qingwan turned her head to look at her.

Ye Xingbei pointed at the shredded carrot she had cut, "This is the finest shredded carrot I’ve ever seen."
