After leaving the Gu family villa, Senior Master Xiang imdiately returned to the hospital, keeping vigil by Lingyue’s side.
Lingyue stayed unconscious for a day and a night before he woke up.

Ye Xingbei chuckled, “Xiao Shu and your master father went to buy you so food. Are you hungry?”
After Xiao Shumiao woke up and saw Lingyue wasn’t awake yet with injuries all over his body, he kept crying non-stop, unable to be soothed.
Ye Xingbei, moved by his tears, couldn’t help but cry along with him. Then, Gu Junzhu fooled the little guy, saying that Lingyue was sleeping because he was too hungry, and deceived the little guy to go out and buy food for Lingyue.
Despite not having much appetite, Lingyue, not wanting his master father and Xiao Shumiao to make unnecessary effort, nodded, “I’m hungry.”
“Good boy,” Ye Xingbei fondly patted his head, “Your master father and Xiao Shu will be back soon.”
