Chapter 639: Chapter 642: A Shocking Scene
Ye Xingli stomped on his face, deforming his features and silencing him, “What’s up with talking so much even when you’re reduced to a prisoner, aren’t you brain-dead or what?”
Ye Weikang’s cheekbone hurt as though it was about to shatter, leaving him unable to utter a single word.
As the person in the video turned out not to be Ye Xingbei, Gu Junzhu had no more reservations. He took out his phone and sent a ssage to his n, instructing them to investigate Ye Weikang.
Before an hour was up, a ssage arrived from Ye Xingli’s people. Ye Weikang owned a villa in the suburbs, inside which was an underground room secured with a password lock.
Gu Junzhu, along with Ye Xingbei and Ye Xingli, imdiately set off for the suburban villa, bringing Ye Weikang and Ye Tao with them.
The villa district in the suburbs had a low occupancy rate due to its remote location and poor marketing afterward.
There was ample distance between each of the villas, all surrounded by lakes and woods. The sparse human presence gave the area a gloomy feel.
They arrived at the entrance to the underground room, which the guards said was locked with a password. Outside of the basent was a normal door.
Behind the ordinary door was the anti-theft door with the password lock.
The lock required a fingerprint and an iris scan.
The guards, with Ye Weikang in their custody, placed his finger on the fingerprint reader and aligned his eyes with the iris scanner.
With a “clack,” the anti-theft door swung open.
Ye Weikang kept cursing.
One of the guards simply stuffed sothing into his mouth to silence him.
They entered the underground room.
Walking down a long hallway and into the basent, Ye Xingbei was stunned.
The basent was far larger than usual, covering at least a hundred square ters.
The floor was covered with a white, fluffy carpet, and the room was fully furnished like a regular living space, complete with ho appliances.
On the sofa, a woman was lying, watching TV.
Upon seeing them enter, the woman straightened up on the sofa.
Ye Xingbei, seeing her, quickly covered Gu Junzhu’s eyes – the woman was stark naked with no piece of clothing on her.
At first, the woman was surprised to see Ye Xingbei and the others. However, her shock turned into excitent when she saw Ye Weikang, bruised and held by the guards. She ran over, eagerly asking, “Are you here to rescue ? Are you?”
She was not wearing any clothes and yet had no sense of modesty or embarrassnt as she ran towards them.
Zhen Qi took off his coat and threw it onto her.
She paused, took the coat, and wrapped it around her body.
Zhen Qi was tall and large, and she was petite. His coat on her looked oversized, covering every crucial part. Only then did Ye Xingbei remove his hand from Gu Junzhu’s eyes.
The woman clutched Zhen Qi’s coat, curiously observing everyone.
When her gaze finally t Ye Xingbei’s face, she froze before screaming, “It’s you… it’s you…”
She scread and charged towards Ye Xingbei, reaching out to grab his collar. Gu Chi stepped forward and slapped away her hand.
She stared intently at Ye Xingbei, screaming like a madwoman, and launched herself again at Ye Xingbei, only to be stopped by Gu Chi grabbing her wrist.
She strained fruitlessly against his grip, her distorted face a picture of rage: “It’s you… it’s you… it’s all because of you…”
Ye Xingbei frowned at her, unconsciously leaning towards Gu Junzhu.
Gu Junzhu put his arm around her shoulder, draweing her into his embrace.
Ye Xingli grabbed Ye Weikang’s hair, pulling the gag from his mouth: “Tell us, what the hell is going on?”
