He looked at Ye Xingbei and then at the woman gagged with sothing in her mouth, frowning at Ye Xingli, “This is…”
He didn’t finish his sentence, but Ye Xingli understood what he ant through their friendship.
Ye Xingli gritted his teeth in resentnt and gave Ye Weikang another kick, “Beast!”
Yu Xingchen’s frown deepened, his jesting deanor disappeared, “It will indeed be bad if this spreads. Let’s conduct the questioning here. I promise to keep the news tightly sealed.”

Ye Xingli smirked, “His family has been in law enforcent for generations. His grandfather is the big boss of Y country’s police force, and he’s his grandfather’s successor. What do you think his chances are of changing jobs?”
The Fifth Lord of Gu showed a regretful expression, “That’s a real pity.”
He liked unconventional, good people who did deceptive things.
Of course, upright people were all well and good, but there were many things an upright person couldn’t accomplish and it took a “bad guy” to get them done.
