Normally, he might have asked a bit more.
But now, he already had the answer in his heart.

Lumi said with a sowhat complicated expression:
"Yes, she's as adorable as you were back then."
"I'm still just as adorable now." Diana chuckled, "It's a sha though, I can't be with her."

Diana shook her head and said, "Lumi, the staying here is just a past mory, a shadow left in the past."
"We're not living beings, it's hard to touch the reality you're in, let alone accompany you into the future."
"When you leave the Fallen Shadow Nether Realm and return to the main material plane, we're but a part of the story in your journey."
"Staying in the Fallen Shadow Nether Realm is our true ho."
She reached out and gently held up Lumi's face:
"You should et people more worthy of cherishing than us, of course, maybe you've already t them."
"Lumi, don't cling to our past, carry forward our emotions, and go towards your own tomorrow."
Lumi lowered her head, gazing into Diana's clear eyes, her expression was sowhat dazed.
Dazed as if returning to decades ago.

That happened after they returned from the Underground City.
The failure of the Underground City strategy, and the death of friends who fought alongside her, left her extrely dejected.
What followed was a barrage of criticism and condemnation towards the Hero Team.
Although she knew well that the silent ones were the majority, only those wanting to express dissatisfaction took this chance to voice harsh comnts.
This clamor went on for quite a long ti.
Almost a whole year passed, eventually Diana, who had been recuperating in Tino City, started to recover considerably.
Everyone consciously forgot that painful experience from the Underground City.
Suddenly one day, Diana told her that she had t a very interesting person.
Accurately speaking, it wasn't her first encounter with that person.
In earlier years, her brother was a close friend to that person.
Or, given Diana's brother's situation, earning that person's friendship was only natural.
After all, her brother was nad Max.
Hero Max.
"Saying I hold no grudge against that person and my brother would be false."
During her recovery, Diana would often speak in a helpless tone to Lumi:
"n's thoughts are bizarre, if it were , already knowing there's a Chosen Hero, I'd surely refuse to actively seek death."
"But my brother told , the current Hero hasn't yet grown adequately, even hasn't surpassed my brother's peak combat power."
"He possesses unparalleled fierce potential, even beyond my brother, now rushing to an inevitably dood battle will only add casualties, without altering the outco in the slightest."
"My brother hoped he'd preserve his useful self to tackle future threats that might impact the Empire and the world."
"Reinforcent for the future—they say it this way."
Diana shrugged and said:
"Actually, it's fairly absurd, isn't that just sending oneself to death?"
Lumi shook her head:
"With Max present, those of us who participated in this battle, knew well we were heading towards certain death."
"You too, frustrated but still followed us."
Diana snorted, putting her hands on her hips, said:
"That's because I couldn't just watch my brother go to his death."
She paused and suddenly said with a trace of lancholy:
"I t the one my brother fought tooth and nail to protect, he's strong, truly strong."
"The last ti I saw him and my brother in combat, he was far behind, just a few years have passed, he seems to have caught up to my brother's pri."
"Perhaps he's right, and truly has considered much."
"The Underground City's birth of the Four Gods' Chosen cannot be left unaddressed, all nations are deploying additional forces to restrict further expansion of the Underground City."
"I feel we also need to do what should be done."
In the following years.
Diana invested herself in building the Empire's magic industry.
Utilizing her teacher's guidance, she introduced a batch of elite Mages, establishing the Mage organization known as the 'White Tower.'
She began to optimize the magic curriculum at Saint Louis Academy and compiled course materials.
Subsequently, she started frequently using ancient teleportation gates to enter and exit the Underground City, remotely sniping the newly born monsters of the Underground City, and attacking the Demon King's chambers.
Lumi was always by her side.
Both were ranged classes, every ti they would pull off their raids without showing themselves, achieving considerable success as they couldn't be ambushed by monsters.
For a period, Lumi noticed that Diana took her for snacks less frequently.
Initially, she found it odd.
Then, soon after, Diana ca skippingly to her and said:
"Lumi, Lumi, I'm about to get engaged."
Lumi, taken aback: "Wait a mont, what did you say?!"
Diana said with a smile:
"Getting engaged, with that person."
Lumi was speechless:
"Didn't you say you didn't quite like him, and thought he was too autocratic?"
She was talking about the current Regent King of the Ense Empire.
Or, rather, he's already recognized as the Emperor of the Empire.
Given these years, that fellow who still had so blood ties to her had indeed done nurous shocking things.
It's just she didn't expect the collaboration between Diana and him to progress their relationship so fast.
However, Lumi still offered her blessings.
After all, she was her best friend.
Not long after the engagent, Diana got married, and as so years passed, one day Diana suddenly said to Lumi:
"Lumi, you have Sun Elf blood flowing within you, you should be able to live quite long."
Lumi said: "More or less, starting from a baseline of about 1000 years? It's a matter of how to live through such a long ti."
Diana gently brushed her hair and suddenly said softly:
"Lumi, if there cos a day when we're no longer here, will you feel lonely?"
She rembers she replied this way back then:
"If all my friends leave, I'd probably find a secluded spot where no one can find and quietly pass away."
She genuinely thought this way.
Half-elves and elves are different.
With half elf blood flowing, yet having a thought process leaning more towards humans.
The wear and tear of ti is far too tornting.
Diana said softly:
"Mr. Heisen was severely crushed, it's unlikely he could ascend to legendary status again."
The blonde half-elf sighed softly:
"Indeed, he'll probably be the first friend I send off, by then, maybe I will feel very lonely."
Diana said softly:
"Lumi, I'm planning to have a child recently."
Lumi froze for a mont and said:
"Then go ahead and have one! Just didn't expect I'd beco an aunt so soon."
Diana looked at her quietly, ultimately showing a happy smile:
"Yeah, let's have a child, I've heard children are really fun."
Lumi chuckled and said:
"Children aren't ant for you to play with, you know?"
