The journey to the Tunis Royal Capital lasted a day.

Compared to the international teleportation arrays, the dostic ones are also heavily guarded, but they are indeed much more convenient.

Aside from being expensive, there's nothing bad about them.

Beatrice gave Tunisia a bit of face by handing over the attackers to the city officials responsible for the teleportation array.

Then, traveling lightly, she jumped through several teleportation arrays and finally arrived at the Tunis Royal Capital.

At the city gate, they were t by the long-awaited Tunisian reception personnel.

Beatrice looked at Louis and said:

"Will you be staying with , or with Saint Louis's group?"

Louis wanted to stay by Beatrice's side to chat with her a bit more.

But he was a restrained person, knowing what needed to be done now, so he simply bowed his head to give Beatrice a light kiss on the forehead and said:

"I will handle the affairs of the National Royal Knight Academy as soon as possible."

Beatrice, not being a spoiled person, nodded in agreent.

Watching Beatrice drive away in the carriage, Louis returned to his own carriage, heading towards Saint Louis's entourage.

He failed to notice that after he boarded his carriage, Beatrice's carriage window silently opened at so point, and a pair of beautiful eyes quietly watched as he left.

A gust of wind scattered her hair, and also her helpless smile.

...

[Location: Tunis Imperial Capital Noble Council]

The atmosphere at the scene was very solemn.

Soone spoke in a low voice:

"What was originally a good thing has been ruined by this group of people. Duke, are you still going to protect those Brotherhood mbers?"

In the Noble Council, many people's eyes were focused on Tunisian Pri Minister Duke.

Everyone present knew that Pri Minister Duke has always supported the Brotherhood, or rather, stood with the largest number of underprivileged groups.

The Tunisian elite are not without foresight, and they naturally understand that such an approach is precisely the redy to stabilize the current Tunisian society.

The faction that can accept Pri Minister Duke represents the greatest common denominator of Tunisian society at present.

Even the most conservative aristocratic forces in Tunisia have to admit that currently, there is no replacent for Duke.

Even if Duke wanted to resign, most people would not agree.

On December 7, the Tunisian Noble Council, usually referred to as the upper house, held a eting regarding the head of state and pri minister elections.

After discussions at the eting, the council collectively passed a resolution announcing that the new Tunisian pri minister election will be held on March 6 next year.

Committee head, Lady Lina, said at the eting:

"The forthcoming pri ministerial election is the most important political event of next year and will largely determine the developnt direction of Tunisia."

In the past, this would be nothing more than a typical official statent.

But today, with rising tensions with the Hidden Forest, external threats from the Dragon Empire and Giant Demon Tribe looming, and the continent entering an era of turmoil as a backdrop.

Next year's pri ministerial election is indeed Tunisia's most critical event.

And it will indeed decide Tunisia's developnt direction.

On December 8, a day later, as expected, Pri Minister Duke announced his candidacy for the election.

Perhaps knowing the likelihood of being a passing runner, other pri ministerial candidates showed little enthusiasm.

Currently, the only confird candidate to contest against Duke is the royalist figurehead, Andrew Sanka.

The royalist, abbreviated as the Royal Tunisian Party, although royalty has been abolished since Tunisia beca a republic, still wields significant influence in the Tunisian elite.

However, Andrew Sanka currently lacks the montum of a major noble and has no resources, clearly not a match for Pri Minister Duke.

Moreover, a few months ago, after making so extre statents, Andrew was reported by the Brotherhood and has since been in and out of the capital's detention center.

In other words, if things go as expected, Pri Minister Duke will embark on his fifth term.

This also ans Duke's tenure will surpass that of all previous Tunisian leaders until he steps down five years later.

Everyone attending the parliant today knows that although Pri Minister Duke is always known externally for being strong and authoritarian.

Bards from the Hidden Forest and the Dragon Empire have written nurous anecdotes insinuating Duke's intent to turn the pri minister's position into his iron throne.

But internally in Tunisia, faced with the imminent pri ministerial election next year, everyone has to admit that Duke is the optimal solution at present.

And win legitimately and reasonably.

This isn't to say that Duke's political strategy is this formidable, but that Tunisia cannot do without Duke, at least at this stage, Duke cannot leave office.

Just look at the Brotherhood.

As Tunisia's internal conflicts intensify, the areas where Brotherhood mbers are active are expanding.

If previously the Brotherhood was a platform for public petitions, now, with Tunisia's continuous defeats in the wars against the Giant Demon Tribe and the Hidden Forest, the internal dynamics are beginning to change.

A straightforward rationale: when internal conflicts accumulate to a certain height, the simplest non-thinking thod is to start a war externally.

Tunisia has long suffered from the Giant Demon Tribe to the west.

If the Giant Demon Tribe could be eradicated, it would effectively divert the current Tunisian public's attention.

However, all this has turned into a dream with the Hidden Forest's intervention.

Instead, it's brought simring issues directly into the open.

The most imdiate point is that the Tunisian Brotherhood is now being grilled on a spit.
