When mories ca to this point, Louis only felt his embarrassnt almost flared up.
Such a disaster.
Although he didn't lie during the Jade Phoenix Alliance's online eting, he did harbor the intention of guiding others to think in another direction.
Like saying, "I'm quite familiar with Fox, he asked to co and inform you," in that direction.
Unexpectedly, after the Grand Speaker learned of this news, he seed to believe it on the surface but secretly sent soone to inquire about Fox's situation.
This confrontation exposed the flaws entirely, didn't it?
What surprised him was that Fox did not expose him.
He rely smiled and brushed the matter aside.
That night, a sudden fierce wind arose around.
Sea breezes, laden with dark clouds and accompanied by bursts of thunder, woke him in the middle of the night.
He seed to have plunged back into that nightmare in the shadowy realm.
The pervasive deathly fear lingered over him, making it impossible to sleep.
He heard the commotion coming from the knights' campground, and upon getting up, he found that the mbers of the Knight Order were already rushing towards the rift.
What t Fox's eyes was a vast expanse of gray storm.
That was derived from the most terrifying scene in his nightmares.
It had once devoured Fox's hotown.
Deep within that space rift, he saw a bluish-black arm.
That was the culprit causing the already stable space rift to once again beco turbulent.
But that wasn't what shocked him the most.
Inside the rift, he saw ruins.
Ruins that mirrored those of his dreams.
That was the hotown he could only return to in his nightmares.
In a daze, he seed to recall the fear of the pitch-black storm devouring everything again.
For a mont, intense fear held him back from advancing.
As nurous Tunisian Knights engaged in battles with bizarre creatures thrown out from the space storm, he remained unable to proceed.
As knights fell one by one, the leader of the Tunis Knight Order approached Fox:
"Master Fox, the situation is out of control, please leave, let us handle this."
"Please report the situation here to the Noble Council, urge them to send reinforcents swiftly."
Fox, in a daze, said:
"Handle? How will you handle it? Do you know you can't handle it?"
Resentnt boiled within him, rendering him at a loss for words.
But the knight rely smiled and said:
"Master Fox, this is Tunisia, we must guard our ho."
With that, he turned and rushed towards the astral ephera flying out of the space storm.
The Wise Council's mage looked at Fox, troubled, unsure of what to do.
Fox quietly watched the scene, and suddenly said:
"Will the Grand Speaker send people over?"
The mage nodded.
"Will Ense send Jade Phoenix Mages over to investigate the situation too?"
The mage hesitated for a mont: "The Grand Speaker thinks he might not know you."
"What does knowing or not knowing matter?" Fox mused aloud, "…tell Tom, I won't go back."
The mage was stunned:
"You seem very afraid."
"Yes, I'm scared, scared to death."
"Then why do you…"
A fla appeared in Fox's hand, burning brightly, from the soon-to-fall Jade Phoenix Mage Grom.
"The Jade Phoenix Mages don't lack soone like at the exemplar level."
In the dark night, suddenly a streak of erald fla shot into the sky.
From the sky, a Jade Phoenix descended.
Phoenix descended into the vortex.
The mage couldn't stop him:
"Master Fox, you are just one person, you can't change anything?"
As he finished speaking, he suddenly sensed sothing was off.
When he looked up, a torch was seen glowing on the hill.
"That is…"
Louis watched this scene quietly from the side.
He saw the emblem of the God of Love Church, saw the Wise Council mages descending from the sky, saw the combat mages rushing in.
In a daze, it seed like he returned to the scene where Fox saw the Church of Glory and Justice arriving with torches.
The light cast by that torch pierced through the canopy, spilling down here.
In the sky, fierce winds howled.
Those were the reinforcents sent by the Wise Council.
After Fox's Jade Phoenix descended.
The second one.
The third one.
The fourth one.
...
Individuals from various places poured into the corridor.
"One person can't change anything… can they?"
Louis watched the mory scene beginning to fade.
Suddenly, Fox's voice echoed in his ear.
"Have you decided? To truly inherit my Jade Phoenix Fire?"
Louis looked up at those individuals streaming into the passage.
At that mont, he finally understood why Tunisia had changed so drastically.
He hesitated for a mont, finally saying:
"Then let it be inherited, but first, know this, I will not be like you…"
The sound of Fox's gentle laughter echoed through the mory space.
As if intending to say sothing.
And at this mont, Louis had already reached out and grasped that fiercely burning erald fla.
With a sharp crack, Louis returned to reality.
He knew Fox ultimately chose to save this group of people in Tunisia.
Of course, he also saved the self who couldn't save his sister many years ago.
"Move forward, don't look back, there's the warmth of human life ahead."
At this mont, Louis fully realized a critical point.
The Abyssal Church is undeserving of forgiveness.
Even more so for the worldly serpent.
Erald flas swirled, a fierce light blazing in Louis's eyes.
