The Wisdom Tree is a mber of the Elf Race.
The ecology of the Elf Race is sowhat special; their origin traces back to a ti before a world shattered, to the World Tree that supported that world.
Later, they encountered a curse of flesh and blood, causing a substantial number of treefolk to transform into the elves of today.
But they soon discovered the benefits of having a physical body, leading a significant portion of elves to rapidly develop.
However, this developnt did not an abandoning the original mbers of the race.
The ranks of the elves were filled with a considerable number of treefolk and Tree Demons, among which a unique few gained special powers over the long passage of ti.
The Wisdom Tree is one such branch.
Having lived for a long enough ti, many of them have witnessed most of the history of the elves, gaining wisdom that transcends ti.
No one expected that the Giant Race still had contact with the Wisdom Tree.
In the Underground City, the relations between the Giant Race and the elven side had almost completely severed.
Apart from having the sa origin, both parties have developed in completely different directions.
Yet, after the passage of ti, the Giant Race reconnected with the Wisdom Tree.
Judging by the familiar rapport between the Grand Chief and the Wisdom Tree, it was evident that the Giant Demon Tribe had been secretly receiving support from the Wisdom Tree for so ti.
"Lord Silence, I rudely invited you here to ask about one thing."
The Grand Chief said heavily, "Regarding the requirents for establishing a nation on Star Continent, is one of them the permanent guarding of space portals?"
The compassionate face on the trunk displayed a bit of confusion:

The Grand Chief gulped down with difficulty, coughed, and said:
"Lord Silence, now it’s only required to have a long-term guard to solve the issue."
The Wisdom Tree said calmly, "I understand, which is why I say things are different now than they were back in the Elf Realm era, where life was sacrificed to plug the breach."
"So in these two hundred years, you haven’t slackened in guarding the space portals, right?"
The Grand Chief sighed, "I haven’t heard of this from the previous tribal union."
The Wisdom Tree frowned and said, "Now that you ntion it, it reminds that starting from the end of the Overlord Era, you seed to lose the relevant knowledge about the importance of guarding space portals due to various reasons."
Louis was taken aback.
The Overlord Era ntioned by the Wisdom Tree actually refers to the period when the Elf Realm beca the dominant force of the era.
Even today, the Elf Race is filled with fond nostalgia for that pinnacle era.
Thus, they avoid calling it the end of the Elf Realm and instead subtly refer to it as the end of the Overlord Era.
