Alice clicked her tongue and said, "I really did fool you. That half-plane seems like it hasn't been explored yet, and there are quite a few good things inside."
She paused for a mont and said, "Actually, if you think you're capable, I hope we can have it all to ourselves."
"But your brother's adventure team doesn't have enough manpower, and even with my Curse Binding Legion, it's still not safe, right?" Louis asked curiously.
Alice nodded and said, "Yes, my dear Prince, you wouldn't expect us misfits to directly go and conquer the demons in the half-plane, would you?"
She had a look like she was seeing an idiot, and Louis slapped his forehead.
Sotis after a long ti, you might really forget that the ones standing behind Alice are just a family, not a legion.
Just as he was thinking this, the communication crystal rang again.
Louis took out the crystal and glanced at it; the ssage was from the Sword Master of the Lokeshi Empire.
"How odd, why would the Sword Master send a ssage at this ti?"
"He cares about you; maybe he wants to draw you into their country."
Louis shook his head and said, "The Sword Master wouldn't do sothing impossible like that."
Alice grinned and said, "Why don't you answer the call? What if there's sothing urgent?"
Louis didn't speak, he just pressed the answer key:
The voice of the Sword Master bood from the communication crystal:
"Prince Louis, when shall we find a ti to spar again?"
Louis decisively refused:
"With the situation so tense now, you're really not afraid of causing trouble, huh?"
The Sword Master shook his head and said, "I just don't know why, I feel I need to spar with you soon, or I won't have the chance when you beco stronger later."
Louis laughed and replied, "Buzz off."
Even though the gap between them was widening, Louis greatly appreciated the Sword Master's blade techniques, which ca one after another like divine power pressing down with dark clouds.
Saint Realms are different from one another.
Having been in the legendary status earlier, the Sword Master's exploration into the rules of legend went deeper than a few Saint Realms Louis had encountered.
"Father, don't always make things difficult for the Prince."
A helpless female voice rang out.
The Sword Master's daughter, Vier's voice appeared behind the communication crystal.
The Sword Master's imposing manner instantly deflated like a balloon pricked by a needle.
"Vier, it's just an ordinary spar."
"You said the sa thing last ti, and ended up injured," Vier poked at Old Deng's sore spot.
The Sword Master looked pained, unsure of what to say.
It was clear that his daughter rembered the injuries from the last spar with Louis.
Vier seed to think that was not enough, so she jabbed further:
"And Father, how long has it been since you taught blade techniques?"
The Sword Master awkwardly rubbed his nose.
After falling behind in sparring with Louis, he spent even more ti honing his martial skills.
He used to regularly set aside ti to teach his daughter.
Louis' eyes lit up at this, imdiately jumping on the step Vier provided:
"Sword Master, Miss Wei'Er clearly wants her father to spend more ti with her, don't overlook your daughter's goodwill! We have plenty of ti to exchange ideas once we resolve the issues your country is facing recently."
The Seven Great Disasters had already given him a headache.
While he had a strong desire to spar, the timing was certainly not ideal.
"Alright, what a pity."
The Sword Master sighed, but soon the thought of teaching his daughter blade techniques brought a smile to his face.
"By the way, we recently plan to launch a surprise attack on a half-plane, located inside Ense territory, where demons fleeing from the Fallen Star Sea reside. I wonder if you'd be willing to join us?"
The Sword Master gladly agreed and then turned to contact people to prepare for a joint battle.
After the communication crystal disconnected, Alice curiously looked at Louis:
"Why do I feel like you want to keep the Sword Master close, afraid he'll slip out of your sight?"
Louis didn't say a word.
He couldn't possibly tell Alice that the ti for the Sword Master's assassination was fast approaching, and he feared the assassination might succeed, disrupting the Lokeshi's situation.
Currently, Lokeshi was facing enemies from multiple fronts, with enormous battle pressure.
Although he didn't wish for the Lokeshi Empire to fare better than Ense, he still hoped they could preserve so of their strength.
Preferably, they'd be half-dead, forced to fully deploy their army.
Of course, this was just a thought, unlikely to be realized.
But in any case, the turning point of Lokeshi's turmoil starts with the Sword Master's death.
Louis... really doesn't want this guy to die without knowing why.
They still have a sparring agreent!
