1103: Chapter 524: Encounter with a False God_2 1103: Chapter 524: Encounter with a False God_2 Lin Baici made his move.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

Carving at with a kitchen knife, while seemingly a terrifying act, beca an artistic display in the hands of Lin Baici.

The knife fluttered up and down like a butterfly moving through flowers, light and graceful.

As the blade moved, it smoothly sliced without a spill of blood.

Even the pieces of at that had been sliced off were uniform in size and even in thickness, more regular than those cut by machines.

“If this were tuna, just by looking at the shape, I could eat ten kilos!”

Long Miaomiao swallowed her saliva, yearning for wasabi and soy sauce.

That would be absolutely satisfying with so sauce!

Lin Baici’s knife skills had truly astounded many.

“God Lin, if only you had ntioned this earlier, I would have given you all my flesh!”

“God Lin, please help!”

“Just treat like a slice of sashimi, cut however you like!”

Many examiners ca over, pleading for Lin Bai’s help, as they could cut at, but minimizing the damage was not sothing they could do.

Such a small request, Lin Baici found it hard to refuse.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

The stones were still exploding frequently, but as long as one didn’t seek them out, they wouldn’t get hurt, which greatly reduced everyone’s psychological pressure.

Ti passed.

In such a tense atmosphere, everyone relied on their little sacrificial clay figures to collect the small stones, filling all the defects in their stone slabs.

“We’ve done it!”

An Yi Xian wept with joy.

“Old White, thank you!”

Tears stread down Fang Mingyuan’s face as he survived another round, “When we get back, I’ll buy you a drink!”

After a brief treatnt, everyone took their sacrificial clay figures and stone slabs and returned to the Goddess statue.

So knelt and kowtowed, being extra polite was never wrong.

People like Lin Baici didn’t kneel.

The Goddess statue glanced down, appearing very pleased.

“It smiled!

It smiled!”

“Dear Lord, don’t send any more contamination, please let it end soon!”

“Should we say a prayer?

Sothing like ‘long live, long live, eternal bliss’?”

Everyone murmured quietly.

The smile on the Goddess statue’s face was fleeting, returning to its normal state.

After the sacrificial clay figures had knelt and kowtowed, they stood up and began to run toward the mud pit.

“Holy shit, what now?”

“Who knows?”

“Quick, follow them!”

Everyone hastily followed.

“Old White, are these sacrificial clay figures leading us out?”

Fang Mingyuan was thrilled.

“You wish it was that simple!”

Unconsciously, Ai Xuyue retorted, and then rembered that she was speaking to Lin Baici’s friend.

Feelings of embarrassnt imdiately took over and she hastened to apologize, “Uh, I an, it won’t be so easy.”

[We’re getting out!

We’re getting out!]

[Don’t lose track of them!]

The Eater God comnted.

Lin Baici raised an eyebrow.

They could leave the Divine Ruins now?

What about the God?

Lin Baici looked back, gazing at the Goddess statue.

Gurgle!

The feeling of hunger was intense, causing his stomach to cramp.

You couldn’t just co here for nothing, right?

Lin Baici wanted to eat!

The clay figures ran to the edge of the mud pit and without hesitation, jumped in, then ‘trudged through the mountains and waters’ as they ran forward.

“Phew, it should be over, following these clay figures should lead us out of the Divine Ruins.”

Xie Yangchun breathed a sigh of relief.

“Hopefully that’s the case!”

Zhang Hao had the impulse to look back but restrained himself.

Forget it!

At a critical mont, better not cause any complications.

“Ah?

We’re going out?”

Xia Hongyao was sowhat reluctant, “After coming all this way, aren’t we going to purify these Divine Ruins?”

“I think that statue must be one of the Taboo things!”

“Purify it, and we’ll find the God’s bones!”

High Ponytail analyzed, looking to Gu Qingqiu, “What do you think, Little Qiu Qiu?”

“Commander Xia, can’t you just behave?”

Xie Yangchun was exasperated, really wanting to say sothing like, aren’t you Xia Hongmian!

“Red dicine, I know after you purified the Busan Divine Ruins, you’re overconfident, but this is one of the Luoyang Seven Towns, we know nothing about that God’s bones, so it’s better to be cautious!”

Zhang Hao advised.

“Little Linzi, what do you think?”

Xia Hongyao needed allies.

Based on the situation thus far, the pollution intensity would only increase, aning that reaching this place again would co at a greater cost.

“You go first, Hongyao and I will stay behind!”

Lin Baici was speaking to Hua Yue Yu and Gu Qingqiu.

“That’s more like it!”

High Ponytail’s eyes brightened with a broad smile.

“Why should I leave?”

Gu Qingqiu rolled her eyes discontentedly, “Don’t treat like a burden!”

In truth, Lin Baici didn’t consider this alumni a burden.

Her combat strength might be average, but she had a clever mind.

The problem was, her mind was too clever.

If they continued to purify the Divine Ruins together, her own secrets would be revealed.

“I don’t want to leave!”

Hua Yue Yu lanted, “I can be cannon fodder!”

“Old White…”

Fang Mingyuan panicked, what would he do if you remained?

Without Lin Baici, the others surely wouldn’t look after him.

Long Miaomiao blinked her eyes curiously, looking at Lin Baici and then at Xia Hongyao…

These people are so daring!

Ai Xuyue was stunned, really wanting to ask, “Are you guys insane?”

“God Lin, stop ssing around, let’s hurry and get out of here?”

Xie Yangchun was beside himself with discomfort, feeling like he was about to go crazy.

He was primarily afraid of encountering rule pollution next.

Without Lin Baici, he’d have to face it alone.

To be honest, he was already lacking confidence after being tornted so much.

“Xiao Bai, let’s safely get out of here, okay?”

Zhang Hao pleaded, but looking into the eyes of Lin Baici, Xia Hongyao, and Gu Qingqiu, she knew they wouldn’t listen.

They had faced so many dangers, seen so many deaths, yet these few remained calm, with Xia Hongyao and Gu Qingqiu even showing excitent in their eyes.

Dammit!

Where did Xia Hongyao find these insane and powerful companions?

Though the word “insane” was harsh, here it was a complint from Zhang Hao.

To disregard life and death, and treat rule pollution like a ga, was easy to say but hard to pull off.

“If it were , I would stay too.

To contain God’s bones and purify the Luoyang Seven Towns would surely make one famous in a single battle!”

Deng Mingyu almost worshiped the idea, eager for Lin Baici and the others to keep going head-to-head.

“Even if not reaching Dragon Level, becoming a Half-Step Dragon Level is a certainty!”

People still tried to convince Lin Baici to not do anything foolish.

The examiner who ran at the forefront along with the clay figures suddenly exploded underfoot.

Boom!

A figure burst from the ground amidst a shower of black mud, flying about dozens of ters high, then swooped down like a dead dog and slamd into the ground.

Plop!

The figure sprawled in the black mud.

Everyone stopped in alarm, their expressions tense.

“Again?”

Fang Mingyuan wailed, beseeching the Heavens to just kill him outright.

Who could endure such ceaseless tornt?

The figure didn’t die from the fall, and after about a dozen seconds, he stood up, twisted his head slightly, and examined the group.

He was wearing a red down jacket that was already covered in black mud and tattered.

“Holy crap, it’s him?”

An Yi Xian exclaid in shock.

“What’s going on?”

Xia Hongyao inquired.

“This guy is a monster; I saw him resurrect after death.

Yes, and the guy with him, Li Xiang, also has considerable strength—he descended from the sky.

They must be mbers of the Dark Erosion!”

An Yi Xian explained, “I reported this to Captain Pan, who worried it would cause panic, so he didn’t allow to tell you all!”

“Dark Erosion?”

Big Aunt cried out, “Don’t scare !”

“What is the Dark Erosion?”

Long Miaomiao asked curiously, nudging Ai Xuyue, “Is it very powerful?”

“Dark Erosion is the most terrifying evil organization within the God Hunter Circle, with each mber possessing the horrifying ability to break the Divine Ruins alone.”

Ai Xuyue explained softly, “These people do whatever they want without regard for morality or the law.”

“Everyone be careful, I saw this guy get impaled through the chest by that crow!”

Zhang Hao narrowed her eyes.

When they’d previously encountered this examiner, his expression was dull and he exerted no oppressive force.

But now, his eyes moved irregularly, betraying madness and a murderous intent.

“So, this isn’t rule pollution, then?”

Xie Yangchun pondered, “Even if it’s a monster, it can be killed.”

“Where’s that Li Xiang?”

Xia Hongyao looked around, “Didn’t you say they were together?”

“We’ve been here for a while, and this guy was obviously here even before us.

So what do you think he was doing under the mire?”

Gu Qingqiu countered.

“What I’m more concerned about is why this guy, who’s been hiding underneath for so long, is still not dead?”

After Xie Yangchun finished speaking, Li Chenguang tightened his red down jacket and suddenly moved.
