Chapter 1350: Chapter 589: You’re So Good at Fighting, Why Didn’t You Tell Sooner?_4

Forget it!

Can’t afford to ss with him!

Lin Baici stood in front of “Durian Too Expensive”. Before he could speak, “Durian Too Expensive” acted on his own.

Slap! Slap!

“Durian Too Expensive” slapped himself across the face four tis.

“Big Cousin, I’ll listen to you next ti!”

“Durian Too Expensive” quickly stated his position.

He wasn’t stupid—he knew if Lin Baici acted, it would hurt a lot more. Better to do it himself, make a show of it, and move on.

“Do you think you’re pretty clever, huh?”

Lin Baici let out a mocking laugh and swung his hand.

Smack!

“Durian Too Expensive” was stunned; he couldn’t even stand straight, staggered back a few steps, and fell to the ground on his butt.

Spit!

Two teeth fell out.

Lin Baici turned his gaze to “Attack Speed Shoes.”

The heart of “Attack Speed Shoes” skipped a beat, and he began to regret speaking too much earlier.

Right?!

Who the hell am I?

What right do I have to give orders to Big Cousin?

Just as “Attack Speed Shoes” was about to slap himself and apologize, Lin Baici turned his head, his gaze sweeping over everyone in the morgue.

“We’re all stuck in rule contamination. If you want to stay alive, you better fight for your life with your own hands. Waiting for others to save you?”

Lin Baici sneered, “Do you have billions in wealth to offer others? Or do you think you look like so heavenly beauty, making others willing to die for you?”

Regardless of what Big Sweet Sister really thought, she at least stood by his side earlier.

The others?

All a bunch of selfish cowards.

Being human—judge by actions, not by thoughts. No one has pure intentions anyway.

Lin Baici only looked at behavior.

“It’s over!”

Su Manni felt sick to her stomach, thinking she’d just lost another chance to win Lin Baici’s favor.

Big Sweet Sister’s face turned red—she’d hoped to use her looks to get Lin Baici to take extra care of her.

After cursing everyone out, Lin Baici went to inspect the cold storage units, searching for the key to purify the rule contamination.

The morgue was steeped in an oppressive atmosphere.

Zheng Yu Huang groaned in pain and sat up, rubbing his sore jaw.

“What the hell happened? Feels like I got hit by that guy.”

Zheng Yu Huang felt dizzy. He looked up to see everyone standing around listless, like eggplants after a frost.

“What kind of crap is this?”

Zheng Yu Huang turned to find Batugel.

Found him!

“You sneaky bastard…”

Zheng Yu Huang trailed off, staring in shock, eyes wide and bulging.

“What happened to you?”

Zheng Yu Huang’s face swelled up like two at buns, his previous attitude—swaggering like a street thug, sneering “What are you gonna do about it?”—completely gone. He now resembled a helpless young bride ravaged by a gang of hooligans.

What the hell?

Did soone “wreck” him?

Zheng Yu Huang, who at least had so experience working at a state-owned company, noticed things weren’t right and decided not to escalate. He glanced briefly at Big Sweet Sister.

“You okay?”

Zheng Yu Huang caught up to her, his eyes darting to her boots for a split second.

Those legs—play forever!

“I’m fine!”

Big Sweet Sister smiled modestly, saying little.

“Sorry I couldn’t help earlier!”

Although she hadn’t contributed, she wanted to make sure the favor was rembered.

“Stop flirting and look over there!”

Su Manni mocked.

Zheng Yu Huang turned his head and saw Kuang lying on the ground, his neck seemingly bitten open. This made him shiver in fear: “Dead?”

“Yep, dead!”

Su Manni chuckled coldly.

“No way…”

Zheng Yu Huang was dumbfounded: “How long was I out?”

“And who killed this guy?”

Zheng Yu Huang, sharp-eyed, noticed everyone occasionally stealing glances at Lin Baici with fear and awe. He suddenly sucked in a cold breath.

“Big Cousin, turns out you’re this brutal?”

Zheng Yu Huang quickly shut his mouth after saying that.

“Big Cousin, we won’t run away next ti!”

Tang Keke declared.

“Yeah, yeah!”

Peanut Butter promised.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The sound of tal knocking rang out again.

“Soone’s there!”

Zheng Yu Huang’s expression shifted. He located the cabinet making the noise and imdiately moved to rescue the person inside.

“I suggest you stay calm!”

Lin Baici warned him.

“What do you an?”

Zheng Yu Huang didn’t understand: “Just let the person inside die?”

“There’s no cry for help coming from inside—could be a living corpse!”

Big Sweet Sister chid in.

“A…living what?”

Zheng Yu Huang had blacked out earlier and hadn’t seen a living corpse yet.

“Living corpse—a mobile body that starts dropping maggots.”

Tang Keke explained.

“You’re kidding , right?”

Zheng Yu Huang said those words, but still loosened his grip on the cabinet handle.

[Doesn’t matter—living corpses must be handled. Once stuffed into the cold storage unit, they’ll lose their threat.]

[Otherwise, they’ll all break out at so point. Plus, the corpse stench they emit has biological toxins. If you inhale too much, it can damage your nerves, cause sudden hallucinations or unconsciousness, and attract cockroaches, rats, mosquitoes—making survival conditions unbearable.]

Eater God comnted.

Lin Baici frowned. The so-called “handling” clearly involved tying the living corpse’s hands and feet before sealing it in a corpse bag and shoving it back into the cabinet.

“Just pull it open and take a look if you don’t believe !”

Lin Baici felt irritated—without gloves, direct contact with a living corpse was revolting.

Zheng Yu Huang watched Lin Baici approach and grinned: “See, I told you guys you were kidding !”

“If it really was a living corpse, would Big Cousin dare to co closer?”

Zheng Yu Huang thought his reasoning made sense, so he grabbed the cabinet handle again and pulled it open.

Clack!

The corpse bag inside squird.

Zheng Yu Huang humd a tune as he tugged it free: “Hope it’s a beauty!”

Out extended an arm, followed by a woman sitting upright at lightning speed, maggots crawling off her as she moved.
