Chapter 1354: Chapter 590 Oh no, it’s getting fierce, I’ve seen the moving corpse!_3

“Help!”

The woman scread.

The others, let alone being unable to spare themselves, wouldn’t extend assistance even if they had the energy.

The zombie bent down and bit into the woman’s neck, tearing off a large chunk of flesh.

Lin Baici tossed the handled zombie into the freezer, shoved it in, and followed up with a punch to the exterior.

Bang!

The resounding impact startled everyone.

“Are you all planning to keep running like this forever?”

Lin Baici’s eyes swept over the group.

Two zombies heard the commotion and moved in.

“How about one for each of us!”

Zheng Yu Huang had already dealt with another zombie and beckoned Batugel to follow suit.

“Not necessary!”

Lin Baici replied, walking toward one of the zombies, then delivered a high roundhouse kick square to its chest.

Bang!

The zombie was sent soaring, skidding more than ten ters before crashing into the crowd.

The bystanders scrambled to dodge.

The other zombie approached, Lin Baici kicked it away with another powerful blow.

“If you want to survive, fight for it yourself. Stop counting on others!”

Lin Baici’s sharp gaze scanned the group: “I’ve tried it—two adults are enough to take down a zombie, especially since they’re sluggish.”

“Use your brains!”

“And rember, avoid getting bitten.”

Lin Baici finished speaking and continued searching for freezers emitting strange noises.

“So what do we do?”

Zheng Yu Huang figured Lin Baici’s handling was spot-on—surely they couldn’t expect the most dangerous tasks to always fall to the three of them?

“Open the freezers and look for the key!”

Lin Baici opened a freezer, checked it first, found two short ropes inside, then untied the corpse bag.

A female zombie imdiately reached out with her arms, but before she could grab anyone, Lin Baici struck three swift punches.

Bang bang bang!

The female zombie’s face was smashed to a pulp—biting anyone was now out of the question.

Lin Baici quickly wrapped the ropes around the zombie’s wrists twice, securely tied her up, shoved her into the corpse bag, zipped it up, then grabbed the freezer firmly and gave it a hard pull.

Clack!

Bang!

The freezer shut tightly.

The entire process was seamless and utterly srizing.

Big Sweet Sister suddenly rembered watching Australia’s sheep-shearing competitions in the past—so experts could shear a sheep in less than ten seconds. It looked artistic, relaxing, and incredibly satisfying.

Now, Lin Baici had processed a zombie in less than ten seconds.

Satisfying!

Lin Baici turned back, his gaze falling on Big Sweet Sister.

Big Sweet Sister froze for a second, quickly realizing Lin Baici wanted to wipe his hands—she hurried forward, puffed out her chest confidently.

“Move aside!”

Lin Baici rolled his eyes, exasperated: “Why are you all squeezing around ?”

The girls hastily made way.

“You, get away!”

Lin Baici shot Laughing Buddha a cold stare before heading to the next noisy freezer.

Laughing Buddha looked awkward. He had thought staying close to Big Sweet Sister would secure his spot in this small group.

With Lin Baici refusing to help, the group was left with no choice. Eventually, one man mustered the courage to tackle a zombie.

Laughing Buddha gritted his teeth, rushed forward: “Everyone, co and help!”

“We’re fighting for our survival!”

Laughing Buddha rallied the group.

Lin Baici unzipped another corpse bag, from which a young man suddenly erged.

“What’s going on, this…”

The young man trailed off, staring dumbfounded at the unfolding events in the morgue.

“Oh no, I woke up way too fast—I’ve seen moving corpses!”

The young man muttered, lying back down again, hoping it was all just a dream.

“Small Horse Journey, this is no dream!”

Tang Keke shouted—a popular tech content creator with three million followers on Bilibili.

Lin Baici smacked Small Horse Journey on the forehead: “Get up!”

Laughing Buddha and the others fumbled around for seven or eight minutes before finally shoving the zombie into the freezer. Those who helped cheered aloud.

“Not so bad after all!”

“Haha, this experience will be brag-worthy for a lifeti!”

“That might be tough—official channels will probably make you keep quiet about it!”

As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. As their courage grew, things improved significantly.

Laughing Buddha and the group clamored noisily. Then, seeing Lin Baici relentlessly opening freezers, the fledgling sense of pride they’d developed was imdiately crushed.

Compared to Lin Baici, they were absolutely worthless!

“What’s the situation now?”

Small Horse Journey whispered next to Tang Keke.

“There are zombies. Bottom line: if you want to live, do whatever Big Cousin tells you to do.”

Tang Keke advised.

“Even if he tells to die, I should?”

Small Horse Journey retorted.

“Yes!”

Tang Keke nodded seriously.

“…”

Small Horse Journey raised an eyebrow, a mocking laugh just forming when a zombie suddenly sat up from a corpse bag and lunged at Big Cousin.

Before Small Horse Journey could shout “Watch out,” Big Cousin delivered three rapid punches, leaving the zombie’s mother unable to recognize it, followed by a smooth combo of tying, bagging, and shutting the freezer.

“Holy shit!”

Small Horse Journey was stunned—this man fought so skillfully, he must’ve beaten up his girlfriend countless tis.

“Big Cousin, it’s handled!”

Laughing Buddha returned to report, gleefully hinting his worth to the group.

Surely he could secure his spot now?

Clack! Clack!

Six more freezers automatically popped open, and the zombies inside stood upright.

“Don’t freeze, start handling them! And rember to check if there are keys in the freezers!”

Lin Baici ordered.

With fresh experience, the group perford noticeably better this ti. Instead of constantly opening freezers, Lin Baici focused first on dealing with these six zombies.

After shoving them all into the freezer, everyone’s confidence grew significantly.
