Chapter 1362: Chapter 592: Brother Lin, do you have such a good mory that you never forget anything?_4

Big Sweet Sister thought for a mont: “Well, I think we should check it out.”

“Wherever you say to go, I’ll follow!”

Su Manni was self-aware; she didn’t think her intelligence could find any clues, and the death of Peanut Butter and the others had genuinely terrified her.

Now, she clung tightly to Lin Baici for support, determined to follow orders.

“Let’s go, then!”

Lin Baici took the lead and moved forward.

The door was indeed locked, but the key they had earlier could open it.

*Creak!*

Lin Baici pushed the door open.

Beyond it was a corridor identical to the one they were in—dimly lit with several rooms.

No one moved; they all waited for Lin Baici to go first.

Lin Baici walked down the corridor and noticed that one of the rooms had “Anatomical Lab” written on its door. Through the glass window, he could see a stainless steel table with a male corpse lying on top. Beside it was an open faucet, with water gushing out.

“Holy shit!”

Zheng Yu Huang saw the dissected corpse and was so scared his hair stood on end.

Everyone else looked equally disturbed.

“I… I think we should leave imdiately?”

Tang Keke suggested, finding this place scarier than the morgue.

On the left-hand wall of the anatomical lab were a few wooden racks holding bottles and jars, presumably filled with dication.

Lin Baici continued onward, spotting a specin room. He glanced inside but decided he didn’t want a second look.

Inside the room, nurous shelves were lined with bottles filled with formalin, each containing human organs.

Lin Baici quickened his pace and walked to the end.

It was a hefty iron door.

Locked!

He tried the key but it wouldn’t open.

“Maybe we should go back?”

Tang Keke clung tightly to Lin Baici’s arm, clearly terrified.

Lin Baici turned around and began heading back. As he passed the anatomical lab’s entrance, the door suddenly creaked and slowly opened.

“Holy shit!”

Everyone was shocked and took a collective step back.

Only Lin Baici remained motionless, standing rooted to the spot.

A male doctor, about 1.7 ters tall, stood there holding the door handle.

He was dressed in a white lab coat that reached his knees, wearing rubber gloves and a blue surgical mask that covered his face, leaving only his eyes visible.

“Are you patients or relatives?”

The doctor’s tone was harsh as he questioned them.

None of them dared to respond, instead turning to look at Lin Baici.

That…

That had to be so kind of monster, right?

“Relatives!”

Lin Baici answered calmly.

“This floor is off-limits. If you’ve collected the corpse, leave imdiately!”

The doctor finished speaking and walked into the specin room.

Taking advantage of the brief mont before the door closed, Lin Baici peered into the anatomical lab.

In just that short span, the dissected corpse from the operating table was already gone.

“Go, go!”

Su Manni and Tang Keke pushed Lin Baici forward, urging him to leave quickly.

The group hurriedly left the corridor, while Zheng Yu Huang and Batugel repeatedly checked to confirm that the iron door was securely locked before finally breathing a sigh of relief.

“Oh my god, I nearly died of fright!”

Tang Keke patted her chest in relief.

“That definitely wasn’t human, right?”

Small Horse Journey glanced back nervously.

“Duh, would a human perform dissections on corpses?”

Laughing Buddha swore under his breath: “Who was the one who suggested coming here? Almost threw us to the wolves.”

“Do you think interrogating him could reveal a way to get out of here?”

Zhou Cheng speculated.

“You can try if you want!”

Big Sweet Sister shot Batugel a look, wondering if he was stupid or just bored with life.

“So, what do we do now?”

Tang Keke asked helplessly.

Everyone turned to Lin Baici, waiting for an answer.

“Find clues!”

Lin Baici started walking toward the parking lot.

*Click! Click!*

Elder Zhou opened the morgue’s door, intending to check the situation outside, only to see Lin Baici: “Big Sweet Sister? Laughing Buddha?”

The people behind him pushed him out of the room.

“Damn, we actually escaped!”

The rcedes-Benz sales director spat on the ground.

Deng Ziyu felt safer seeing more people around, but her expression stiffened when she saw Lin Baici.

Why was it him again?

Bad luck!

“Mr. Lin?”

Wang Xiao greeted him enthusiastically and rushed over.

“Elder Zhou, how was their situation?”

Laughing Buddha asked.

“Don’t even ntion it, several people died!”

Elder Zhou sighed. “Right, make sure to thank Big Cousin! If he hadn’t told to find the keys, we’d still be in there playing cat-and-mouse with the living corpses!”

So expressed their thanks while others grew impatient, eager to get out.

“Save the reunions for later; let’s get out of here!”
