Xia Hongyao sighed.
"So am I supposed to change into a detective outfit with an English style?"
Lin Baici rolled his eyes.
"That would be handso!"
Xia Hongyao completely missed Lin Baici’s sarcasm: "Should I make you one?"
"Hanging up, I’m going to eat!"
Lin Baici wasn’t as idle as Xia Hongyao; isn’t enjoying college life delightful?
"Mr. Lin, dinner is ready!"
Ji Xinyan called.
Lin Baici arrived at the dining room, seeing four dishes and a soup on the table.
"The appearance is a bit lacking, but the aroma is strong!"
Lin Baici looked at the Tea sister wearing a Peppa Pig apron: "Did you make this?"
How co it looks like reheated takeout?
"I made it!"
Ji Xinyan thought to herself, I reheated it, put in the effort, that counts as cooking it.

Lin Baici sat down, took his chopsticks and tasted a piece of spicy abalone.
"Salty, delicious!"
Lin Baici gave a thumbs up.
"Try this too!"
Ji Xinyan served Lin Baici a piece of braised yellow croaker.
"Hmm, salty, delicious!"
Lin Baici nodded, then ate a bite of organic cauliflower.
"Salty..."
Before Lin Baici finished speaking, Ji Xinyan’s little foot kicked his calf under the table.
"Will you ever stop? Rare for to play the housewife, can’t you just let it be?"

Though Ji Xinyan said this, she still filled Lin Baici’s bowl with rice: "I watched a video and personally stead this rice. Eat more!"
After eating and cleaning up, the two sat in the living room, staring at each other.
"Long evening ahead, shouldn’t we find sothing to pass the ti?"
Ji Xinyan didn’t want to scroll through her phone: "How do you usually spend your ti?"
"Read books!"
Lin Baici answered truthfully.
"If you want Zhu Qiunan to accompany you reading, just say it!"
Ji Xinyan complained.
"What do you want to do?"
Lin Baici leaned on the sofa, looking at Ji Xinyan in her pajamas.
"Play truth or dare?"
Ji Xinyan wasn’t sure, she’d never spent the night alone with a guy.
"How about going to the gym for a workout?"
Lin Baici suggested, he hadn’t used those gym machines yet.
Ji Xinyan squinted: "Are you trying to see in yoga pants?"
