Now reading: Chapter 2011 - 900: God Aunt! from Deities Are All Just My Food, a Sci-fi novel by Missing You Washing Red Beans.

If it weren’t absolutely necessary, Aunt Mink didn’t want to kill Agent Jin, because she is a God’s ruins species that has developed self-awareness, belonging to a lower tier of the divine hierarchy in the food chain.

We all belong to the sa ecosystem.

On this unfamiliar Blue Star, there are far too few of Aunt Mink’s kind, so whenever possible, they are preserved.

If Agent Jin was fond of an ordinary human, Aunt Mink wouldn’t care at all. She might even take a few photos for her social dia, laughing at the sight of him being polluted and mutated by Agent Jin, but not Lin Baici.

"What’s going on with him?"

Aunt Mink wanted to use her own eyes to see for herself.

...

Rooftop terrace!

"You’re a God Hunter, you might not co back the next ti you explore the God’s ruins, so why bother thinking so much?"

Nangong Shu advised: "Enjoy today while you can!"

Lin Baici gave a noncommittal smile, just about to speak when his brow furrowed.

Gurgle!

His stomach growled, an intense hunger hit him like a tsunami, making Lin Baici feel his stomach cramp, and his intestines surely knotted.

At that mont, the hunger was so intense that he even had the urge to swallow Nangong Shu whole.

"What’s the matter?"

Nangong Shu noticed the change in Lin Baici’s expression.

"Sothing’s wrong!"

Lin Baici heard footsteps, he assured it was none of the group like Xia Hongyao.

"A stranger’s coming!"

Nangong Shu noticed too, but she hadn’t taken off her clothes since she was wearing a qipao. Lin Baici, on the other hand, quickly dressed and put on the kasaya.

Creak!

The iron door was pushed open.

Lin Baici looked over.

The more severe the hunger, the stronger the identity of the visitor, Lin Baici realized it might be a deity coming, but when he saw their face, his pupils suddenly contracted.

It was the deity aunt who liked wearing mink even in hot weather!

She pushed the iron door open and walked in.

Her high heels clicked on the concrete floor, making a rhythmic sound.

Honestly, this deity aunt’s outfit was quite tacky.

She wore a short-sleeve knit top with a mink coat, the coat’s fur glossy and smooth, like rain would imdiately roll off, unable to wet it.

Her lower half was an ankle-cuffed pair of jeans, paired with high heels, showing a portion of skin-colored stockings.

No matter how tackily she’s dressed, bearing the identity of a deity, even if she wore rags, she would be soone to look up to.

"Hmph!"

Lin Baici took a deep breath; after killing the human-head deity, he knew he’d be targeted, prepared to combat enemies, but he didn’t expect such a heavyweight opponent.

"It’s her?"

Nangong Shu was shocked. Although Aunt Mink said nothing and her expression was plain, without showing intimidation, the proprietress still broke out in a cold sweat.

It was a primal reaction, like a herbivore eting a large predator.

Aunt Mink didn’t spare Nangong Shu a glance but gave Lin Baici a deep look.

After that look, the building beneath Lin Baici’s feet collapsed with a rumble, and he and Nangong Shu imdiately fell.

"Aunt Shu!"

Lin Baici instantly activated Platinum Crow Feather, intending to slow his fall, but the taboo thing didn’t work. He then quickly calculated, teleported, appeared below the proprietress, and grabbed her arm.

The two of them were rapidly falling, like boarding an express to hell!

Aunt Mink raised an eyebrow seeing this scene.

Even at this mont, still thinking of rescue?

Seems like he’s not a heartless man!

Bang! Bang!

Lin Baici and Nangong Shu hit the ground hard, the intense pain as if their internal organs had shattered made even an iron-willed man like Lin Baici wish for instant death, for release.

The environnt around changed.

In the air, green fluorescence drifted like fireflies on a sumr night.

Poof! Poof! Poof!

On the pitch-black ground, green things suddenly sprouted.

Lin Baici originally thought they were bamboo shoots, but when the ’buds’ opened, flashing green fluorescence, he realized they were human hands.

They were initially clenched in fists, like budding flowers, and when they erged from the ground, the fists opened, glowing brightly.

These arms moved like cilia blown by the wind, undulating green waves, and those near Lin Baici suddenly reached out to grab him.

"Aunt Shu!"

Lin Baici pulled Nangong Shu and started running.

[Don’t stop!]

[Stopping ans being dragged into hell!]

Eater God comnted.

Lin Baici quickly turned his head, glanced around, everywhere was the sa, no trace of Aunt Mink.

Even aiming for a direct strike at Yellow Dragon, seizing the leader was impossible.

"This is the end!"

Eater God ntioned, don’t stop, but Lin Baici knew before he died of exhaustion, the Divine Domain would kill him first.

However, Lin Baici wasn’t in despair, not even very panic-stricken.

At this mont, all his brainpower was dedicated to devising an escape plan.

"Stay calm! Stay calm!"

Lin Baici muttered.

As long as the hunger remains, he won’t get lost!

Found it!

It’s over there!

Toward the 11 o’clock direction, Lin Baici pulled Nangong Shu, sprinting through the ghostly hands clawing at them.

Lin Baici unleashed Divine Grace, slashed with sword energy, but in the next second, no matter how many ghostly hands were severed, more erged from the ground.
