266: Chapter 135: Regintal Commander Lin, The Debut Begins_2 266: Chapter 135: Regintal Commander Lin, The Debut Begins_2 Lin Baici let Xia Hongyao take a look, he rubbed his nose because his sense of sll was too sensitive, so this filthy environnt had a significant impact on him.

High Ponytail opened a crack in the door and peered outside, “Safe, no monsters!”

“Bartender, hurry up!”

Lin Baici urged, “Old man, you help him, too!”

“Is that necessary?

What kind of intelligence can a corpse have?” The old man didn’t want to touch the body, “I think we should go outside and take a look around.”

In the old man’s view, this was just an ordinary monster, even if they were to dissect a corpse, they should find a more powerful one.

Lin Baici didn’t say anything, he just stared at the old man.

If these people didn’t do as he said, he would imdiately go his own way.

In a team, there could only be one voice.

“Fine, Captain, I’ll do it!”

The old man crouched beside the corpse, plunged his hands into the Pig-Headed Man’s abdominal cavity, and rummaged around.

Soon, the small room stank to high heaven.

“Captain, there’s a 98 on its neck, probably its number, but nothing else!”

The old man shook his hands and reported his findings.

Lin Baici took out the Ask God Turtle Shell and perford a divination.

“Ask God divination, Divine Turtle Shell speaks, today is extrely ominous!”

“Favorable to head west, avoid scents!”

Everyone turned their eyes to the Turtle Shell in Lin Baici’s hand, astonished.

This kid has quite a few treasures on him!

“Make it clear, which way is west?”

Lin Baici frowned.

“To your right!”

After ‘it’ finished speaking, it pleaded in a low voice, “I feel these people are all cursed with bad luck today, why don’t I divine for them and dispel so of it?”

Lin Baici pocketed the Ask God Turtle Shell.

“Master, two would be fine.

Alright, just one, let divine for just one of them?

I’m so bored I’m almost growing fur!”

The crowd, upon hearing this, was stunned,

Is this a Taboo thing with its own consciousness?

Generally speaking, such Taboo things were extrely precious.

“Let’s go, Leather Pants Woman, Bartender, you two lead the way!”

Lin Baici instructed.

Actually, it might be safer to ask what Divine Grace everyone has, but that would be an invasion of privacy, so Lin Baici didn’t ask.

Leather Pants Woman didn’t argue, joining soone else’s team ant accepting such consequences.

The Bartender picked up the Pig-Headed Man’s cleaver, weighed it a couple of tis, finding it pretty heavy.

The group headed out.

This was a corridor, its wallpaper peeling away, probably decades old; from the ceiling every few tens of ters hung a fist-sized light bulb, casting a pallid white light.

A few moths fluttered around the light bulbs.

There were small cells on both sides of the corridor, but after checking a few, Lin Baici and his team of seven found them empty.

The corridor stretched over a hundred ters long, leading to a door at the end.

The Bartender pushed it open and looked outside.

There were three paths, up the stairs, down the stairs, or continue forward.

[To escape this slaughterhouse, you need to get the map and the key, the map is on those Pig-Headed People, and the key is on the Pig King!]

“Which way?”

Everyone looked at Lin Baici, waiting for an answer.

“Let’s go downstairs!”

Lin Baici felt that downstairs would likely be sothing like a storeroom, insignificant, so they should start their search from these less important places first.

“I think we should go upstairs first, if there’s a BOSS, it should be living upstairs.”

The old man suggested.

“You can go!”

Lin Baici didn’t care; having said that, he led Leather Pants Woman and the Bartender downstairs.

The old man didn’t want to act alone, so he followed along.

The seven people reached the bottom and saw an ajar iron door.

Lin Baici slled a stench wafting out from the inside.

“There’s a monster inside!”

Lin Baici warned.

He walked to the side of the door, staying close to the wall,

The others imdiately did the sa.

“Old man, you stay right there!”

Lin Baici commanded.

The old man was taken aback, then understood that Lin Baici was using him as bait.

He felt sowhat annoyed but did not object.

“The weakest serves as bait!”

Lin Baici trusted that everyone understood his subtext—if you contribute to the team, you can enjoy special treatnt.

Holding a Bronze Sword, he tapped on the iron door.

Clang!

Clang!

Soon, footsteps resounded from inside, and after about ten seconds, a Pig-Headed Man opened the door and ca out.

Dressed in black rain boots, wearing an apron, and wielding a bone-chopping cleaver, it saw the old man and imdiately lunged at him with a loud shout.

“Charge!”

Lin Baici was the first to leap into action.

This ti, he didn’t use his flying sword, as it was too draining on his Divine Power.

Any annoyance the old man felt for being used as bait vanished, seeing that Lin Baici was the first to rush at the monster; however, Xia Hongyao was even faster.

She overtook Lin Baici, rushed behind the Pig-Headed Man, leapt into the air, and the Dagger stabbed towards its neck.

Solar Eclipse!

Swish!

The Dagger sank into the Pig-Headed Man’s vertebra and with a horizontal slash from Xia Hongyao, most of the creature’s neck was severed, its massive head lolling on its neck.

Splash!

Blood spurted skyward, even reaching the ceiling.

Thump!

The body collapsed.

There were still footsteps, Lin Baici and the others turned back to see another Pig-Headed Man just arriving at the iron door.

On seeing its kindred killed, it imdiately began to scream.

“Damn it!”

The dwarf swore, and hurtled into action.

They had to kill it quickly, or it would attract more monsters.

Lin Baici had considered the possibility that there were other monsters behind the iron door, but since he had others serve as bait, he had to lead by example and charge ahead, or else he would lose prestige.

Seeing a Pig-Headed Man standing there, he imdiately drew out the Champion Dart he had acquired earlier and threw it.
