After an uneventful day, the ti in the Peach Public Barrier moved to the second day, which was the ti when Bai Hou was about to lead Hooked kiss and the others into Jianmu Palace.
Fisher and the others got up very early. Mikhail seed to have rested well last night, stretched lazily, greeted Fisher, and was ready to head to the main hall. In Fisher’s eyes, that magic ripple wasn’t just limited to the leaf in front of him. He looked her up and down and sighed, saying,
"Didn’t you rest last night, engraving so much Wind Magic? There must be dozens of sheets hidden all over you."
Feeling Fisher’s gaze, Tangze Asuka felt a bit embarrassed, yet for so reason used her left hand to cover the area around her chest. She pouted slightly and quickly explained to Fisher,
"No, no, I didn’t engrave for long, at most two hours, and I did get a good rest... I was planning to rest directly, but couldn’t fall asleep no matter what, so that’s why..."
Two hours?
Fisher was sowhat incredulous as he scanned the dozens of four or five-ring magic sheets all over her again. You know that Fisher himself only gained such rapid engraving abilities after studying the Soul Completion Manual for soul enhancent, whereas Tangze Asuka seed innately blessed with extraordinary Soul Strength, and possessed a remarkable talent for magic. Even without the aid of Magic Materials, she could stabilize extrely unstable magic structures.
He glanced one last ti at the eager Tangze Asuka looking at him, then suddenly let go of her hand, smiling as he said,
"You can already study deeper magic; don’t be afraid to be proud. You are probably the fastest learner of magic, aside from its creators. Historically, even the most outstanding Magic Masters can’t surpass you."
"Really?!"
Tangze Asuka’s expression instantly brightened, as if the tearful fool from yesterday wasn’t her at all.
Joy spread across her face, not just her expression, but her whole face tilted upwards, as if her nose would touch the sky.
The clumsy student and bottom-of-the-class Tangze Asuka finally had her day!
Never had Tangze Asuka felt such a love for studying.
Fisher nodded with an amused expression, which then turned stone-faced. He pointed to the dozens of magic sheets hidden within Tangze Asuka’s robe and said,
"Yes, but I have a question for you... We are about to enter Jianmu Palace to et the Elf King, and you’re carrying such overt magical ripples all over you, like you’re strapping bombs on yourself naked. It wouldn’t be surprising if you weren’t allowed in."
Tangze Asuka’s expression fell flat within a second. She quickly covered herself and quietly muttered,
"Is Mr. Fischer learning bad things from Helair, starting to tease people... Mr. Fischer, bad."
Learning bad things from Helair?
Fisher might have initially thought it was partly his nature, but hearing Tangze Asuka’s words made him pin the bla on that mischievous angel.
"Then... I’ll go back to my room and take all the Magic Leafs out. Sorry, I didn’t think of this earlier."
Tangze Asuka was just about to turn back to her room to take out the leaves she had cautiously hidden in her clothes this morning. As Fisher had taught her, magic should not be stacked together, especially without Prohibition settings, as it could easily trigger accidents. So she had hidden one leaf per place, forcing herself to carry dozens of leaves within her robe.
Fisher looked at her foolish appearance, contrasting with her magical talent, sighed, and beckoned to her,
"Turn around to face ."
"Huh?"
Tangze Asuka was puzzled at first, but her body instinctively turned around, obediently facing away from Fisher. Monts later, Fisher gently bit his own finger.
