The defense outside the space rift was extrely tight, as Fisher and his group had to go to great lengths to replace the hooked kiss coming in with Bai Hou to see a doctor; in stark contrast was the emptiness within Jianmu Palace.
As the saying goes, there’s always sothing strange about abnormal situations, Fisher felt there must be a special reason behind this.
Otherwise, since Margaret said there is a place inside Jianmu Palace where tribute slaves are stored, why is it still so quiet, with no sound at all?
As they went further in, an extraordinarily grand gate appeared before Fisher and his companions.
The gate was towering, yet tightly closed, so Fisher and the others could only see what the gate truly looked like.
"Behind this gate is where the Elf King usually resides, and the key to my escape is inside,"
Margaret said while caressing the enormous gate, turning to look at Chun,
"When there were still people in the palace, this gate was opened daily by the strength of the Elf King’s subordinates. Since the palace beca empty, the Elf King relies on so teleportation thod to bypass it. Even if we opened this gate, the Elf King wouldn’t notice anything amiss. Lord Chun, the thod I ntioned is inside; once we enter, I will explain it to you, please trust , okay?"
Fisher looked up at the gigantic wooden gate ahead of him, quickly noticing its unique features.
He discovered that there seed to be three large, peculiar petal symbols engraved on the gate, and the entire gate was composed of three parts, made from three unique types of wood. Fisher was no expert on wood, so he didn’t recognize the types, but saw many branches with pink flowers growing on the wood to the left.
That is... peach blossoms.
"On this gate..."
Chun also gazed at the gigantic gate before them, his hands clenched tightly, his breath becoming rapid.
Perhaps he never imagined that he would repeatedly commit such overstepping and outlandish acts today.

Listening to this, Fisher’s eyes suddenly narrowed sharply, looking at Chun beside him in disbelief.
