Now reading: Chapter 106 - 106 29Xiayat2 from Demi-human Girls Completion Manual, a Urban novel by Yiweimi.

106: 29.Xiayat_2 106: 29.Xiayat_2 That was the very female Centaur that Fisher had seen that day near the Royal College during a New Party presentation.

Fisher instantly beca interested, as there had been many people during the last presentation and Fisher hadn’t had a chance to study the rare demi-human up close.

Now, seeing that the area was almost deserted, Fisher hesitated for a mont, then left the office and headed toward a distant building, clutching his hand cane.

The so-called “South Continent demi-human Protection Association” building looked quite shabby, the entrance marked by a low wall hung with various New Party promotional strategies.

Inside, the Centaur was humming a song softly, kneeling on the ground with all four legs, picking vegetables planted along the base of the wall and placing them into a small basket.

“Hello.”

“Ah!”

Fisher’s sudden voice startled the Centaur, causing her to stand up abruptly, her long tail flipping over the garnt that covered her equine body, swaying behind her.

Only when she saw that it was a human gentleman and not a bandit or so evil spirit did she breathe a sigh of relief and said to Fisher,

“Well, sir, if you’re here for an interview, you’ll have to wait until the staff of the association returns.”

She spoke cautiously, but Fisher just smiled and shook his head,

“Is it because the New Party is afraid that you might say sothing wrong?

Don’t worry, I, like all Nali people, don’t care about this so-called association, I’m more interested in you.”

“Interested in …?”

The Centaur girl blushed slightly after a brief surprise, her tail flicking with her ears.

“Yes, I’m a scholar studying demi-humans; my na is Fisher.

I had never seen a Centaur in the Southern Continent, but I was surprised to find one here in Saint Nali.”

“Ah, my na is Xiayat, a Centaur from the Youbian Tribe of the Southern Continent.” Upon hearing Fisher’s na, she instinctively perford a Nali etiquette, and after completing it, she laughed bitterly and said, “I didn’t expect there to be humans studying demi-humans…

I thought only rchants cared about our kind.”

“There are, just like the odds of seeing a Centaur like you here in Saint Nali.”

Xiayat laughed at Fisher’s joke, covering her mouth with her hand, and walked closer to Fisher near the edge of the wall.

It seed she was the only one in the house, Fisher didn’t see any staff, and the entire “South Continent demi-human Protection Association” appeared to have only this lone Centaur.

“So, why aren’t Centaurs seen in the Southern Continent?”

“Ah, that’s because…

our tribe has always been migrating, we are a nomadic people with no fixed settlents, but I won’t tell you our migration patterns.”

She blinked, slyly smiling, but Fisher didn’t mind, pondered for a mont, and then skipped over that topic.

The migration patterns of the Centaur couldn’t be as simple as Xiayat had described; even nomadic tribes couldn’t have avoided human contact for so long.

It was normal for her not to tell a human these secrets, as Fisher did not plan to pursue the matter.

“Since you’ve always been migrating, I guess a part of the reason has to be humans, right?

Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been so long without us seeing one.

So, why are you here now?”

Xiayat smiled and covered her chest,

“I voluntarily followed the humans to this continent…

because even though we’ve been hiding, there will co a day when there is nowhere left to hide.

After realizing this, I felt I had to do sothing.

I ca here carrying the wishes of several tribes and other hidden demi-humans, hoping to bring peace between humans and demi-humans…”

“The New Party agreed to my request, promising to let more people on the Western Continent hear our voices; for this reason, I even learned your human language…”

She first proudly smiled but then the smile fell slightly as she looked around the deserted but poster-filled Protection Association, continuing, “But now, it seems to be just a pipe dream.

I originally thought humans held trendous resentnt towards us demi-humans, but it turns out that neither the New Party nor other humans actually care about us at all.”

Fisher made no comnt and after listening, leaned against the wall and noted,

“Isn’t it a bit dangerous for you to say these things to , a human?”

Xiayat laughed, patting her head,

“After all, it’s been too long since I’ve t a human interested in demi-humans; I just spoke a bit too much without thinking, sorry.

Wait…”

She then suddenly realized sothing and looked at Fisher with caution,

“You’re not deceiving , are you?

You’re not really a scholar studying demi-humans, but just a thief trying to steal?

“Steal what?

What’s here to steal, besides vegetables—steal you?”

Fisher was amused by her words, speaking thus to the appealing Centaur, which made her bashfully stomp her hooves and put her hands on her hips,

“What’s so funny—not too bold to steal ?

I was the most beautiful and fastest runner in our tribe!”

Fisher didn’t challenge her claim of being the fastest running Centaur in her tribe, as there was no other Centaur here to verify it.

But he was still curious about studying her, since this was his first encounter with a living Centaur.

“The words before were not a deception; I indeed am a scholar studying demi-humans, currently teaching courses at Saint Nali University, so I guess there will be many opportunities for to co here.

I’m very interested in the Centaur, and if possible, I’d like to know more about you.

Do you want anything in exchange for participating in the research?”

Hearing that Fisher truly wanted to learn more about her, her face unconsciously flushed again, but now assured that he genuinely was interested in learning more about her species, she reluctantly agreed,

“Alright, if I have nothing else here, you can co anyti; sotis the New Party asks to…

give presentations.

As for compensation, it’s fine, I enjoy just talking to you.

But I must say in advance, I won’t speak much about our tribe.”

Fisher nodded, agreeing to her conditions,

“Then it’s settled.”
