"Hmm, that’s hard to say because at that ti, the techniques used by that Mythical Species were illusion-based, and there were no specific Mythical Species fluctuations. There weren’t any branches like Master Tao’s growing on you, right? So I’m not quite sure if it was Chun; I can only say it’s possible."
Helair’s answer not only failed to solve Fisher’s dilemma but made him even more puzzled.
Ever since he had delved into the past, Fisher hadn’t really offended anyone other than Master Tao. Yet, he was attacked by a Mythical Species even before eting Master Tao, leaving him utterly bewildered, especially since he felt that Chun’s power resembled the force that attacked him back then.
So here’s the question: if it really was Chun, what was the reason behind him attempting to assassinate Fisher?
Or perhaps it wasn’t his intention.
Squinting, Fisher leaned against the bedside, turning his head to look at the stone tower where he and Margaret had just t.
Although he couldn’t completely prove that Chun was responsible for the attack, it wouldn’t hurt to be cautious.
Beside him, Helair seed to be completely asleep, lazily leaning on Fisher’s back, while a golden glow flickered before Fisher’s eyes, followed quickly by the familiar light of the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual.
Fisher recalled that he had previously bound the Elf Species, solely to complete the "Gift of Destiny" sequence, and now it was ti to claim the reward.

The Contributor’s tone in the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual is still as cheeky as ever, but Fisher has grown completely accustod to it.
As for the [Source Magic Book], Fisher had already possessed one fragnt before, but it was the second volu then, whereas now he’s obtained the first.
The second volu docunted the mysteries behind the birth of witches rather than magic. Fisher wondered what content the first volu contained. In truth, while the second volu was labeled mystical, it was essentially about attracting the Spirit Realm’s star’s attention and blessing, not truly magic. Fisher hoped the first volu contained so long-lost spells that might be useful later.
He wasn’t surprised by the diminishing Constitution bonus; the Completion Manual couldn’t even be bothered to pretend anymore. As he approached the Mythical Rank, the boost in this area seed to decline, sothing he speculated might be related to owning the corresponding Completion Manual.
But most crucially, he was nearing the end of the Fourteenth Rank, indicating he was on the brink of entering the Mythical Rank.
Whether it was facing the powers of Uncle Chun, Helair, or Master Tao or confronting potential threats now, Fisher believed that ascending to the Mythical Rank was essential, and, prompted by Helair, he had already devised the thod to do so.
Could he be about to beco the first human in history to reach the Mythical Rank?
