Capítulo 1109: Chapter 94: Caught in the Act (Part 3)

They were actually caught cheating by a man’s man?

Fisher could no longer hold back his anger and imdiately hoisted up this damnable person. Helair, while losing balance, continued to “resist” vigorously, constantly slapping his back with her hands,

“Let go, let go, I want to have a proper discussion with you!”

Fisher ignored her and just walked over to the short woman who initially inford him of the situation and thanked her.

That woman swallowed hard and quickly turned away, leaving without saying another word, and all the other gathered won quickly dispersed as well.

The gazes of the surrounding n suddenly beca more amicable. Perhaps there was even a hint of mockery and schadenfreude?

But Fisher couldn’t be bothered with them, silently carrying Helair’s slender waist forward. As the crowd around them thinned, Helair’s symbolic struggles grew weaker, and she leisurely swung her legs draped over Fisher’s chest, only to have Fisher pat her bottom to quiet her.

“Why so forceful?”

She asked.

Fisher didn’t answer, instead, he asked,

“Is this the second day?”

“Oh my, so you’re going to punish on the seventh day? What, did I interrupt sothing and make you angry?”

“Haha.”

Helair leaned against his shoulder with a contented smile, allowing herself to be carried away. She tilted her head slightly, nodding her chin, and suddenly said,

“You don’t seem the least bit flustered, caught cheating and all, have you perhaps been through this before?”

“What kind of bizarre experience are you talking about? Since it never happened, why should I panic?”

“But this doesn’t make any sense at all.”

Helair turned to look at Fisher, counting on her fingers,

“Look, since you arrived at the Holy Land, how long has it been? You couldn’t resist. Even if you didn’t choose , you would definitely make a move on Tangze, right? You’ve lived so long, there’s no reason you were so loyal, only ever liking one woman.”

“…”

According to logical reasoning, it was like that, but for so reason, Fisher didn’t follow this line and instead said,

“Just now, I think I saw Gui. She’s here and asked to go to the Kakafu snake-man settlent outside the Ideal Country to find her.”

“Oh, if the woman I just caught you with was one of those you knew before, what would your attitude be?”

“She might be involved with matters here in the Ideal Country. It’s hard to say if the theft of the Weaver of Destiny is related to her. I want to go have a look.”

“If I ran into the other won you care about, what kind of expression would you have? I’m really curious…”

Fisher and Helair continued to talk past each other, as if on separate wavelengths, yet oddly, they managed to keep the conversation going. Even Fisher himself found this quite extraordinary, and he sighed helplessly, deciding to answer her question first.

He suddenly realized that with this troubleso woman, he could always be subtly manipulated, and in an exceedingly clever way,

“I do have other intimate relationships, so if you all t, I’d be very troubled…”

Fisher frankly admitted this, but as he finished speaking, he suddenly thought of the possibility that this woman might get buried with the Holy Land in thousands of years.

After a mont of silence, he added,

“But that will happen far in the future, and given your personality, surviving until then is questionable… If you’re looking for fun, strive to live until that ti cos.”

Helair, nestled against him with a mischievous smile, tapped her cheek with a finger. For so reason, the lopsided light halo atop her head spun around, and its light grew brighter.

Fisher couldn’t see her face as he carried her, but when she suddenly fell silent, he halted his steps briefly, walking towards the edge of the Ideal Country where Chun was, hoping to share with him the insights Margaret had gleaned from the Weaver.

He suddenly yearned to know her reply, but the silence grew too vexing, prompting him to gently set her down, allowing her to float freely.

Helair floated forward to face him, eting his gaze. She raised a finger before speaking,

“Gui, since she reached out to you, there must be a reason. Visiting won’t hurt, it’s not far from the coast, a round trip in a day… Moreover, you can use this ti to step into the Mythical Rank outside because it’s difficult to accomplish that here…

“And who knows, maybe by the ti you return, it’ll be perfectly on the seventh day?”

The conversation quietly shifted again, both seemingly on different wavelengths yet harmonious in their understanding.

“…I understand.”

Fisher exchanged a glance with her and continued walking forward. Helair silently descended, nearly skimming the ground, walking beside him toward Uncle Chun.

In the distance, Uncle Chun stood at the edge of the Ideal Country, speaking with the demi-humans entering to lant their troubles,

“We will respond to you soon, please convey my greetings to the Snake King.”

“My pleasure, dear Lord Chun. We will report this matter adequately, so this is it then…”

Just as the demi-humans from the Kakafu snake-man settlent were about to leave, Fisher and Helair arrived too. He stopped Chun, who was watching the group depart, conveying the information Margaret had gathered from the Weaver to him.

“This…”

The other party seed surprised they had identified the sneaky thief so soon, but they couldn’t fathom why these four demi-human species would gather to assault them. The Werewolf Species and Elephant-man Species usually clung together like humans. Wouldn’t they clash if grouped?

At this mont, as Fisher passed the information, he suddenly spoke,

“Besides, I wish to visit your settlent as well, possibly helping you catch the thief.”

Next to him, Chun furrowed his brows, possibly puzzled about how this involved Fisher, and asked, why ddle here? Could it be for so ulterior motive?

Fisher anticipated this suspicion. Yet, as last ti, he could rely on the sa reasonable excuse. Without a change in expression, he looked at Chun and said,

“I also like demi-human girls and cannot bear to see such villains roam the wild.”

“…”

Chun, recalling this point only then, glanced at Fisher, then at the “golden-haired man” next to him standing proudly. All the nearby demi-humans who heard this displayed expressions that were indescribable.
