Sorobato’s gaze slightly hardened, and the next mont, his footsteps paused slightly and stopped in place. Then, he turned and slashed, whipping up a whirlwind that blew the sand barrier before him entirely toward the ocean.

All around, the ground crumbled with sounds of collision echoing endlessly. The surrounding five or six ters high yellow sand was all blown away, falling toward the ocean, and from the sky occasionally dropped bits of animal bodies that didn’t escape in ti and were hidden within the sand...

"I knew earlier that angels inherently lack mortal gender, but they can select gender post-creation. If they beco male, they beco stronger and more aggressive; if female, they beco more delicate and sensitive to regulations...but regardless of the choice, it’s a process, yet you transford instantly into a male state more suited for battle, which you didn’t demonstrate during the previous fight with my wife."
Sorobato raised his eyebrow, then planted the Holy Object he was holding into the ground, his eyes slightly moved, seemingly aware of sothing,
"I’ve heard that as a doctor of the Whale-man Species, you can diagnose many patients’ diseases at a glance, which relates to your Whale-man abilities, right? Since so, why not take a look at my current physical condition?"
Hooked kiss smiled bitterly and replied,
"You are a Mythical Species, impossible..."
"Bullshit, didn’t you examine the Elf King previously?"
Sorobato looked at Hooked kiss expressionlessly and then sneered, saying to Hooked kiss,
"Perhaps it’s not that you can’t see, but rather that with your current ’body’ you couldn’t see? Just now I noticed sothing odd, your rank and speed aren’t enough to support counteracting my attacks, yet I still didn’t feel like I hit... Now I realize, this wasn’t your real body, but a peculiar substance. All my attacks hit, but due to the nature of this strange substance, it seed like I hadn’t hit anything..."
Sorobato’s cold gaze scanned Hooked kiss up and down, then he teased,
"If the material you created to form this false body of yours really wouldn’t be consud by my attacks, I might not have noticed a clue, but didn’t you see, you’re now shorter by a centiter than you were initially?"
Facing the opponent’s gaze, Hooked kiss helplessly touched his head, compared the length up and down, and said,
"One centiter... Your eyes are too sharp, how can you even see that?"
"So, your true form must be nearby. Once I find your true form, given your life level, a single blow from could dissipate you..."
After saying this, Sorobato no longer glanced at Hooked kiss in front of him, turned his head to examine the surroundings, and the visible winds symbolizing his power spread along the cracked and scarred ground, while Hooked kiss smiled gently and did not obstruct.
He just kept his gaze on Sorobato, suddenly questioning,
"Sorobato Angel can perfectly replicate the process of entering the Holy Land to seek revenge. It’s not surprising you can see through my tricks now... But, since you already know I ca there for revenge, aren’t you curious why I believe eting you equates to revenge? Isn’t it rely because of my overwhelming love for my wife or my uncontrollable anger?"
Upon hearing this, Sorobato imdiately turned to look at Hooked kiss with slightly furrowed brows, seemingly having countless thoughts flooding into his mind yet being unable to derive an answer.
Luckily, it’s not an unsolvable exam, for the next mont, Hooked kiss slightly raised his hand aid at Sorobato.
Within his gentle smile, Sorobato suddenly noticed that from the fingertips of this Whale-man, nurous tiny and almost completely transparent bubbles were emanating. At this mont, under the moonlight of the full moon, those bubbles presented rainbow-like radiance...
"Sorobato Angel, that’s because eting ant your death. I ca to the Holy Land carrying poison capable of killing you, killing the Mythical Species. This body is entirely constructed of this poison, and it diminishes and transforms not because your attacks succeeded, but because the poison entered your body..."
At this mont, as "Hooked kiss" raised his hand, everything on him slowly turned into what resembled transparent bubbles, except for the golden short dagger, which remained, revealing strands of dense golden threads extending from the end of the dagger handle.
The golden threads suspended midair, forming a three-dinsional network devoid of flesh or skin while the poisonous substance adhered to these golden nerves constructing the "Hooked kiss" almost identical to Hooked kiss.
"Poison?"
Sorobato was first exposed to such a concept; as a Mythical Species, angels hadn’t experienced birth, aging, sickness, and death that other living creatures undergo. They need no food or rest, surviving eternally via the Sun’s grace, and such a concept didn’t exist in the angelic dialect. Therefore, the language post the translating artifact’s translation yielded only an empty transliteration.
