Capítulo 1178: Chapter 117: Matilda (Part 2)

Is that… chaos?

Why is there such pure chaos flourishing above?

Fisher furrowed his brow, feeling the pure chaotic power blooming above the stone tower. He glanced down at the artifact resonating with it.

Could Renie’s artifact not only alter the Holy Grail but also significantly enhance the power of chaos?

No matter the cause of the chaos above, Fisher sensibly determined that Renie’s item must not get close to it.

The consequence of enhancing the chaotic power was uncertain; but if Renie’s item was dissolved in the process, he wouldn’t be able to banish death even upon finding the Holy Grail—it would be ga over.

Thus, Fisher decisively took the item from his bosom and turned to Helair behind him, handing over the item that determined his fate.

“Helair, sothing’s amiss above. I must go up to investigate. This item is crucial to ; if lost, it would put in danger. I’ll leave it with you for now; help hold Chun off here.”

Helair took the item handed to her, her blue and gold pupils scanned it once before smiling back at him.

“Looks like I have a heavy responsibility, huh… Well then, leave it to .”

“Mm, I trust you.”

Chun wanted to intercept but Fisher was already disinclined to care, and behind him, Helair, having received Fisher’s item, suddenly raised her hand, interrupting Chun’s attack with a warm ray of morning light, giving Fisher the chance to dash towards the stone tower.

“Angel!!”

“Elf!!”

Facing Chun’s furious roar, Helair mockingly mimicked Chun’s words, almost causing Chun’s mind to explode from rage.

Chun couldn’t handle Helair alone, let alone Fisher who was determined to ascend.

He turned his wrathful gaze towards the towering structure behind him, helplessly watching Fisher sprint up the stone tower’s exterior.

“Buzz… buzz…”

As Fisher ascended, an intensely terrifying aura of death perated the entire realm.

As Fisher soared mid-air, he suddenly felt a chill down his spine. At that mont, the death driven away by Renie’s power wound around him again, causing a montary pause in his movent. The palpitating sense of dread encircled him, nearly suffocating him.

Invisible black threads spread from deep underground, like a predatory beast feasting on the offerings laid before it.

Clenching his teeth, Fisher used the Fluid Sword to tightly wrap around the stone pillar above, then tugged fiercely before his limbs could weaken, propelling himself like a slingshot upward.

“Thud!”

With a tumbling landing, the closer he approached the center of the stone tower, the faster his heart raced.

Amidst roaring whispers in his ears, Fisher’s gaze swept across the surroundings. He only saw Margaret suspended in mid-air by an imnsely powerful chaotic force, but Tangze Asuka was nowhere in sight.

“Margaret…”

Fisher clutched his heart, his gaze quickly locking onto the conspicuous bloodstains dripping by the pool and the long-handled dagger discarded to the side. The pool’s spreading crimson foretold a creeping sense of doom within him.

The Destiny Loom on the blonde woman had completely transford into chaotic colors, indescribable writhing substances continually linking her with the Transferee, distorting her humanoid form as if her body could no longer contain the terrifying interior.

Thankfully, he hadn’t brought Renie’s artifact up, or else who knows what could have happened.

“Fisher… I’ve always wondered where the aura similar to ours on a native like you cos from… Can you hear those voices too?”

Margaret didn’t turn around, yet the Destiny Loom encircling her seed to replace parts of her organs, opening nurous oscillating eyes and mouths linked by repulsive saliva.

Fisher ignored her, staring steadfastly at the blood dispersing from the pool. If he guessed correctly, Tangze should be inside, and he needed to rescue Tangze first.

Without any preamble or sign, Fisher, clad in death, suddenly sprang up, preparing to bypass Margaret blocking his way and save Tangze Asuka from the pool first.

But as if foreseeing his move, Margaret’s hundreds of eyes on the loom watched Fisher intently, seeming ready to lock onto and discern his fate.

Thus, before his action, Margaret had already raised her hand, beneath Fisher, denser death threads had begun to entwine him.

The entire ground trembled, splitting into countless dense, irregular fissures, from which erged even more terrifying death threads, indiscriminately ensnaring the Ideal Country’s living creatures. Even those of Mythical Rank struggled against death, not to ntion the unconscious demi-humans or humans in slumber.

The sacrificial ritual comnced.

Margaret’s body was continuously wrapped by chaos and the Destiny Loom, amidst terrifying whispers and murmurs emanating from her subjective world, a substance or force destructive to rules began flowing out from her seven apertures.
