Rafael paused in surprise, just about to ask more questions, when suddenly, there was a rapid knocking at the door.
She quickly let go of Fisher, then turned her head, hiding her tear-stained, extrely conspicuous face, showing only her back to the door.

Watching Mier’s hesitant expression, Rafael pieced herself back into the imposing Dragon Queen, commanding her imperiously.
