"And that damned husband of yours, the Chaos of True-God-Authority level erupted inside his body, yet it did nothing to him. He was still jumping around like nothing had happened, even able to draw that Chaos back into himself. This nature is not sothing the rules of this world can achieve... I even suspect that all the rules that constitute his existence are forged, not normally derived Human. In other words, his flesh, his soul, the way he is woven into this world’s fate, the ans by which he interacts with matter—every last thing has been artificially fabricated..."
Valentina widened her eyes, listening in disbelief to Master Tao’s terrifying conjecture in her mind. She could not help but ask in return,
"You an, Fisher was artificially created by so existence?"
"I can’t be certain, but in all likelihood, yes... Does he have parents?"
"He has an adoptive Mother. He’s an orphan who was taken in."
"...Then that should be it. I just don’t dare imagine what sort of fellow the one who created him must be, to actually possess such ability."
"But... why? What aning is there in creating Fisher?"
"You trivial thing, you must understand: the various parts that compose him now are, in essence, direct Creations of Chaos. That is to say, unlike the secondary derivatives of ordinary Authorities, his entire being from head to toe is Chaos that could bring about my Mother’s Death... Yet even that Chaos cannot be mutually compatible. Those Transferees absolutely cannot stay together for too long, or they will inevitably begin to oppose each other, and the books that Record Chaotic Knowledge should also have inherited this property."
Master Tao bluntly poured out all the thoughts in her heart, using experience that spanned the entire past to present Valentina with a truth concerning "Fisher",
"These properties in fact all originate from Authority. Because of the confrontation and Rejection between Authorities, no Transferee can bear two different Chaotic Powers. But this world is not without exceptions. Certain extrely special, powerful existences are sufficient to contain more than one Authority, but what is certain is that such existences are exceedingly rare... Legend holds that the Main God Ramasitia possesses two Authorities, yet no one knows what the other Authority is besides Life; all other Divine beings have one and only one Authority...
"However, that Fisher—whoever created him disguised at least six kinds of Chaotic Authorities’ power as those fragile secondary derivatives found in most living creatures of this world, forcibly forging him into a Human. If not for that ti when the Chaos of a True God erupted directly within him and still did not harm him, I might never have realized just how special the existence that constitutes him truly is. But I believe that, in the eyes of True Gods, he must look like a walking treasure on two legs, running back and forth before them every day, even getting married and picking up girls...
"And this special nature actually does not co from the one who created him, but from himself. That existence exploited his peculiarity, packaged this peculiarity into a Life, and set it free to walk this world... And the fact that six kinds of Chaotic Power plus the direct eruption of a True-God Authority have all left him unscathed is enough to show that he can contain more Authorities that ought to mutually Reject one another. Such a nature is sothing even the True Gods dream of..."
"He lives within a world constructed by our Divine beings. The gods may not have discovered his existence, or perhaps they have discovered him, yet value the world they created more than this dazzling treasure. But that Chaos—does the source of that Chaos think the sa way... I can only be sure that he has already been marked by Chaos and has fallen into an extrely perilous situation."
Valentina clutched her bedding, her heart a mixture of joy and worry. Joy, of course, because Fisher was still alive and, by the sound of it, living quite well; but the worry—the worry ca from the avalanche of concepts that, in a single instant, far surpassed the bounds of her knowledge, understanding, and abilities.
Mythical Species is not enough? One must be above even that, a Demigod? And even a Demigod is not enough—what about a True God then? But this world is under the protection of several True Gods; what if even They can do nothing about that Chaos?
Yet she did not lose heart. That chasm like the very Sky which separated and obstructed her did not break this Phoenix who had once lost both her legs. She quickly recovered from the blow and, after pondering for a mont, spoke with a solemn expression to the Elf in her mind,
"Tao... Master Tao, you are an Elf a hundredfold, a thousandfold stronger than I, and I am but a Phoenix who has only just inherited my ancestral bloodline... I truly am dull; I don’t know what I should do. Please help . What should I do, what can I do to save my husband... To he is not so precious treasure that others would fight over. He is simply himself, a living, breathing person, and the one to whom I have entrusted the rest of my life, so I..."
Listening to Valentina’s pleading voice, Master Tao in her mind also seed sowhat hesitant. Only after a long ti did her voice gradually erge,
"...To be honest, in fact, long ago I already abandoned any hope for this world’s fate. I believed it was destined to perish. Even though I strove so hard for my kin and my holand, I still ended up with the outco of my own Death and my race’s annihilation."
"But we can still try, can’t we? You are still alive; your Mother’s and your kin’s hopes still rest upon you. Elves and Phoenixes still exist in this world, and there are scarcely any now who know as much as you do. You have thought for so long, gained so much—was it all just so you could lie in a grave with it, and then watch everything be destroyed with your eyes wide open?"
