Now reading: Chapter 146 - 146 60 from Demi-human Girls Completion Manual, a Urban novel by Yiweimi.

146: 60.

Human Worm 146: 60.

Human Worm The sky had already gradually dimd, and the afterglow of the setting sun also beca increasingly blurred as ti passed.

Right at the boundary between light and dark, Fisher, holding his Handcane, sprinted toward the place in the field from which sounds were coming.

From outside the laboratory, there was a patch of elm trees about half a human’s height.

As Fisher ran, the distant sounds suddenly quieted.

The setting sun also completely sank below the horizon, leaving only a small patch of sky rippling with a purple glow.

Fisher suddenly stopped, not advancing in that direction anymore.

A breeze passed by, blowing the nearby elms down.

He didn’t move further because he suddenly felt that sothing was approaching from the direction of the sound.

That thing moved extrely fast.

Yet Fisher was not at all flustered but calmly gripped his Handcane firmly, his gaze fixed firmly on the ground in front of him.

In the dim environnt, the pieces of elm were toppled by sothing that crawled over them, silently charging toward Fisher, who stood rooted in place.

Although the creature’s crawling made no sound, as it got closer, Fisher began to sll a scent like that of at rotting for hundreds of years.

The next mont, that stench reached its peak, and a long, strip-like creature suddenly leapt up from the ground, lunging at Fisher.

“Screech!”

A sharp, almost maddeningly female shriek instantly pierced the air, enveloping the thick stench that swept over from midair.

Fisher’s pupils constricted, his body instinctively retreated slightly like a wild beast, and he wielded the Handcane in his hands like a weapon, swinging it fiercely at the leaping creature.

The Handcane moved swiftly, twisting like a whip due to the rapid speed of Fisher’s swing.

“Bang!”

“Ao ao!!”

The mont the Handcane touched the creature, the surface of the creature caved in like layers of dead skin, but as the force transmitted inward, Fisher could hear the sound of bones breaking.

anwhile, the foul-slling entity flipped in the air from the force of Fisher’s strike.

Fisher took a step back, now seeing clearly for the first ti what the creature attacking him was.

But just as he surveyed it, he frowned displeasingly.

The reason was simple; the creature before him defied simple description.

The “creature” that appeared looked like a long, strip-like body, mostly resembling a snake in shape, but it had wrinkled skin like that of a hairless human, with various major human external organs scattered over it.

Ears, hair, nose, mouth…

Supporting the creature’s elongated body were four unnerving, dislocated limbs.

The human-like legs at the back were reversed, forming structures similar to insect hind legs, while the arms were slightly shorter, missing the forearm part, replaced instead by two giant mantis-like scythes.

At the forefront of the monster, a human girl’s face seed to be inlaid like a decorative item, her eyes white, staring dead at the human before her.

This creature was covered in a rotting stench.

Still, under the face of the human girl, a red heart hidden beneath the skin pulsated powerfully, proving that the creature before him was a living species.

Just one glance at it could nauseate soone.

Fisher’s expression turned icy as he raised his Handcane, assuming a battle stance.

The massive sounds from afar kept coming; if he wasn’t mistaken, Elliog was over there.

Fisher dismissed thinking about the origin of this monster for the mont, focusing solely on preparing himself for battle.

“Screech!”

That characteristic, ear-piercing scream of a human woman resonated from behind the creature.

Fisher’s Handcane lit up with sparks of light, and rings of light vibrated at high speed like bees, swung out in succession with his movents.

[Bee Dance]

The magic that sliced objects rushed rapidly toward the creature before him, but upon touching the creature’s skin, it sparked a massive number of sparks.

The rings of light sank deeply into the opponent’s skin but failed to cut through, while the creature itself let out a painful roar.

Taking advantage of the mont the creature was restrained by the Bee Dance’s rings of light, Fisher already ntally noted that the creature’s skin was sowhat tough and cutting didn’t seem very effective.

But the initial blunt strike with the Handcane had worked well, so seizing the mont, Fisher took a deep breath and swung his Handcane fiercely at the creature’s embedded face.

The Handcane, like an iron rod, smashed into the creature’s face, releasing a fierce blow that caused a deep green fluid to constantly seep from the organs, emitting an intense rotting sll as it boiled violently on the ground.

But before it touched the Handcane, a protective magic lit up on the cane, shielding it from direct contact with the fluid.

“Screech!”

Seeing the dire situation, the creature firmly bit onto Fisher’s Handcane.

At the sa ti, it straightened its bug-like body, attempting to coil Fisher within it.

Amidst the intense stench, Fisher gritted his teeth, suddenly recalling the combat thods Elliog had taught him, decisively abandoned his Handcane, and threw a punch directly at the creature’s face.
