Chapter 356: 145. Protagonist to Protagonist (Two in One, Alliance Leader Bonus Chapter)_2
“For Mu Xi, I was willing to hide my na in Saint Nali, willing to live in obscurity without social life, living in fear of her being discovered. As long as she was happy, wherever she wanted to go, whatever she wanted, I would fulfill her wishes! I could even reject a noble invitation from the Princess for her!”
The more he talked, the more agitated he beca, forcefully breaking free from Fisher’s Fluid Sword with his giant sword, and with full fury, he swung his sword at Fisher,
“What do you know? Do you think you can prove your nobility by standing here and spouting grand words? Fisher Benavides, like , you are able to defy societal judgnt and be with a demi-human, you, like the younger , love a non-human life equally…”
“But have you ever really thought about what’s the difference between humans and other races?”
“Have you ever felt how desperately Mu Xi wanted a child? Have you ever watched her eyes go from hope to disappointnt and then to calm?”
“Have you ever endured society’s ridicule? Do you have the courage to protect her and go against the entire human society?”
The strikes from Blake’s blade grew fiercer, and Mu Xi’s thunder traveled along the flow of water, numbing and torturing Fisher’s body, yet Fisher still stared defiantly at the hysterical Blake in front of him.
He asked himself, if the young Fisher hadn’t had the “Demi-human Girls Completion Manual” and t a beautiful demi-human,
They would have been unable to have children all their lives due to the Life Rank, forced to hide their nas because of lifespan and appearance.
He asked himself, if there weren’t any other humans, including pioneers like Blake to accept demi-humans,
Would he have had the sa courage as Blake to devote his life to a demi-human woman?
Fisher was greedy and fancied the Lady, even his younger self couldn’t be as loyal as Blake, those thunderbolts, unleashed with Blake’s emotions, poured down as if not causing pain, but cleansing and questioning Fisher’s soul.
Blake shouted angrily but did not swing his sword again because Moli had violently punched him in the face; he took it head-on without dodging, but stood there unmoved, rely panting,
“Fisher Benavides, when years have co and gone, when ti has aged, you are so old you can’t walk, you are so old your mory is blurred, but the person you love remains young and beautiful, with a long path ahead, what do you feel?”
He silently extended his hand, looking at his robust muscles, inside which his own Life Energy was scarce, sustained only by Mu Xi’s Life Energy,
“I have convinced myself to accept Death calmly, but every day I am in agony, especially when Mu Xi is by my side. Every ti she looks at with her still young face, I dare not lift my withered hand to touch her. She has decades more to live, while I have reached life’s end.”
“I still vividly rember the look in her eyes as she watched dying, that look almost like a higher Life Rank mocking my helplessness!”
Fisher slightly lifted his head, staring fixedly at Blake in front of him and at the still unmoved Mu Xi,
“So, is that why you killed her? Defiling her beauty into this twisted and terrifying appearance?”
“I always rember her at her most beautiful! Her face, every inch of her skin, I rember it all!”
“But are you still the man she rembers? Are you still the Blake Vasili she once loved deeply?”
Fisher suddenly raised the Fluid Sword in his hand, its rcury-like blade reflecting Blake’s current form, the grotesque, terrifying humanoid creature fully reflected in front of the sleeping Mu Xi,
“Mu Xi! Don’t you understand? He has entered madness, turned into a monster without bounds!”
Perhaps even Blake couldn’t bear the sight of his wretched form, his aged face contorted fiercely; he raised his giant sword aiming at Fisher but the instant before the strike, Moli bit her lip and pressed down on his arm; while he was immobilized, the thunder behind Blake beca extrely dim.
Fisher seized this mont, his Fluid Sword rapidly transforming into a drill-like spiral weapon, aiming to attack at a singular point with the fiercest aggression, for that was the only way he might penetrate the Blessing shielding Blake’s body!
“Buzz buzz buzz!”
The Fluid Sword, spinning at high speed, aid for Blake’s neck; in his surprise, the sparks and the screeching friction between his blue water shield and the Fluid Sword erupted.
“Ah ah ah ah!”
Fisher, holding the Fluid Sword with both hands, pressed forward, and Blake didn’t just sit there waiting, his right hand was pinned down by Moli, but his Left Hand suddenly slapped towards Fisher’s abdon; Fisher gritted his teeth to endure the blow, watching as Blake roared and stabbed his huge fingers into Fisher’s stomach.
Blood and a crushing feeling surged through his muscles, but Fisher didn’t care anymore.
His legs pushed back, forcefully driving the Fluid Drill forward.
“Crack!”
In the next second, the protective shield in front of Blake’s throat was suddenly pierced by a small crack from Fisher’s attack; a crisp shattering sound, like glass, rang out, and the tip of the Fluid Sword had touched Blake’s muscle, but no matter what, it wouldn’t penetrate, drops of blood trailing down the Drill Sword – Fisher had no more strength left.
