But Fisher did not show any superfluous emotion; he simply nodded and picked up the experintal records and steel pen that had fallen to the floor due to the gusts of wind, settling back into his chair.

Emhardt also flew back to his shoulder from the table behind him, curiously observing as Ossie gradually folded her wings.
Just as she was apprehensively closing her wings, Fisher suddenly spoke,
"Actually, Ossie... you feel nothing when I touch you, you even seem quite resistant, right?"
Fisher’s sudden remark was about the hand-holding, Ossie understood this, and after hesitating for a second, she nodded,
"Yeah..."
